I had the pleasure of working with Avery and the Eighty Eight Catering team at The Brickyard on Main. As a DJ, my key to a successful wedding revolves around a strong partnership between vendors, especially the caterer. Avery’s professionalism was truly refreshing. Throughout the evening, he coordinated a smooth buffet, quickly released tables, and communicated with me and the venue throughout the entire process, all with a smile. (Oh, and the pasta was delicious!) If you’re looking for a standout team who takes great care of your guests, Avery and Eighty Eight Catering are the ideal pick.

We highly recommend eighty-eight catering! The food was tasty, caterers were on time for everything, set everything up easily, everything went very smoothly. Just wish the food tasted as good as it did during the initial taste test. Other than that, it was fantastic.

Very disappointed. Menu was Meatball, Marinara Sauce, Salad, Rotini Noodles, Chicken, Alfredo Sauce and 5 Vegan Meals. What we taste tested and what we had at our reception were not the same. Noodles were either over or under cooked (depending what tray you got), Meatballs were over cooked (hard) and no flavor. Chicken had no flavor and some of it you questioned if cooked thoroughly. Salad was wilted and way too much dressing on it. Vegan meals never remind us that the people who needed them needed to see the staff. The staff honestly looked to be teenagers (16-17 yrs old) not friendly or helpful. Looked like this was the last place they wanted to be and had an attitude. (My guest gave me an earful next two days after reception).

We were struggling to find a caterer in Columbus and stumbled across Eighty Eight Catering, and we are so glad we did! They were absolutely amazing with their communication and flexibility, and their food was incredible. They were also very willing to travel to downtown Columbus for our reception, and were fairly cost effective. We would definitely recommend this catering company!
