About this vendor
I'm a 39-year-old photographer based in Ventura County, California, with a deep appreciation for emotional and dramatic photography. For me, photography isn’t just about the image—it’s about connection. I strive to create a space where my clients feel seen, understood, and emotionally present, allowing us to craft photos that hold lasting meaning.
My passion lies in getting to know the people I work with, understanding their stories, and translating those into powerful visual narratives. Whether it's a fleeting glance, a quiet moment, or an intense expression, I aim to capture the essence of what makes each person and experience unique.
My goal is not only to produce high-quality images, but to foster an environment where authenticity can shine—where every frame tells a story and resonates for years to come.

Josh works well under pressure. Our wedding was kind of chaotic with the amount of guests we had (almost 300). But he was level headed and polite the entire time. We also shot the ...
wedding in a completely different state than he lives in and he had no trouble with that. It was FUN to work with him btw. His attitude really helped ease all of the stress. I would highly recommend him.

l completely at ease in front of the camera — which is not easy to do! His friendly, encouraging personality and eye for detail brought out the best in me, and I could tell he genuinely cared about capturing me and not just “a nice picture.”
The images turned out stunning — the lighting, angles, and editing were flawless yet still looked natural. Joshua truly captured my personality and made me feel confident and beautiful. Not only is he insanely talented, but he also has that rare ability to make you feel empowered and confident in your own skin.
If you want photos that make you feel like the best version of yourself, I can’t recommend Joshua with eighty6 photography enough. This wasn’t just a photo shoot — it was an experience I’ll remember forever, and I’m already planning my next session!
Josh’s professional and charisma earned him a long standing customer. I will not hesitate to hire Eighty6 for anything video or photo related.

s easy going and considerate. I brought my husband along because I wanted to feel more comfortable but Josh , from the gate, made me feel at ease. He ended up taking 20 different headshots and involved me in the entire process. I don’t want to share a photo because my daughter is still under 18, but I cannot recommend Eighty-6 enough.
