I hate having my photo taken and being the center of attention, but Eisenhower Photography was amazing in relaxing both my now husband and myself during our engagement photos and our wedding pictures. Their friendly but professional attitude made it feel as though they were a part of the wedding party and not an intrusion. I really enjoyed having them as a part of my special day! The photos turned out better than I could have every expected.
Julie and Tony were beyond amazing! I couldn't have been more happier with their work on our Wedding day! I came across their work at the Bridal bazaar and loved how at ease they made me feel!
My husband and I both become shy and awkward when put in front of the camera, and I can honestly say that the two of them made us beyond comfortable and hardly noticed we were having pictures taken! They are loving, kind, professional, and funny (what more could you ask for?) I absolutely adore our photographs and could not be more happy with our choice to hire them as our wedding photographers!
I could not be happier with the engagement and wedding photos from Eisenhower Photography! Strongly recommend!
I first met Julie and Tony from Eisenhower photography at Bridal Bazaar. They were sweet and professional, but also not pushy. When I got home, I went through about 70 photographers (not joking) and narrowed it down to about 5 photographers. My husband and I then interviewed Eisenhower Photography and one other place and it was a no-brainer. Julie was relaxed, sweet, and knew what she was doing. We wanted more of a personal business type of photographer - not one of those bug companies that send a random person to photograph your wedding.
Engagement shoot: Julie was great with suggestions for a location and we did our shoot at Old Poway Park. She knew the park and had great suggestions. They turned out LOVELY and she totally captured the vibe we were hoping for!
Wedding: Julie arrived on time to photograph the girls getting ready in the morning. She then came with us to our venue and took photos of the set up, pre-ceremony, first look, ceremony, cocktail hour, formal photos, and reception. She sent a list beforehand of "must-have" shots, which family members to photograph, if we wanted to get candid or formal shots of guests, if we will go table to table to visit, etc. She is so thorough and accommodating. I can't imagine how exhausting it is to run around and photograph all day, but she and Tony were so fun and positive. Personality is such a huge thing when picking a photographer - you want them to be positive, accommodating, and flexible. You are, after all, sharing such a intimate day with them, so you want their energy to help make the experience fun!
Eisenhower Photography was priced well and also delivered amazing photos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for a photographer. They are just phenomenal and provide top notch service!
Eisenhower Photography was the smoothest part of our whole wedding experience! They were very communicative with everything from beginning to end. We were a bit non-traditional with things, and they supported and documented every part of our events just as we wanted! We met a few weeks before the wedding, talked about our plans, and not only did they support our ideas, they also had valuable insights and ideas we would have never thought about!
Dick and Julie are the sweetest people you can ask for. When my girl friends were getting ready for the ceremony with me, Julie was there for every significant moment. She was taking gorgeous pictures of the flowers, the rings, even the lingerie, and when the right “getting ready moments” came along, she was right there for that too!
Dick was on the other side of things, documenting my husband and his friends getting ready. When we both saw the other side of things after the wedding, it was amazing to see what was happening! Everyone is nervous and fidgety before the big moment, and to see how well they captured it all was an amazing insight into the other spouse’s experience!
The ceremony pictures were more beautiful than I could have imagined. Dick and Julie together captured every significant expression from the entire ceremony. We were sort of difficult in that we had almost every member of the audience read a quote from their seats during the ceremony. Not only did Julie and Dick capture every reader, they also captured our faces during each reading. They were completely in sync as photographers, and they embraced the significance of every part of the ceremony.
When we received their pictures from the reception, we were in awe. Everything goes by so fast during your wedding reception, you miss some moments, and sometimes the pictures of the party afterwards are all you have to really see. We were blown away by the pictures. The dancing, the hugs, the kisses, not just of us, but of the guests too. They truly captured the magic of the night. They were there on the dance floor and they seemed to have a gift for taking pictures of the right moments. There were handstands, group hugs, synchronized dances, and dips by grandparents. They truly got all the moments we couldn't have planned on film.
A week after the wedding we received an email with the highlights from the wedding so we could send those pictures to loved ones immediately. It was amazing to have something to see so quickly and to print immediately to send a photo in the thank-you cards.
A few weeks after the wedding, we received a monogramed box with USBs for us and both sets of parents. It was beautiful, and more than we even expected.
We’ve been married over five months now, and we’re still looking through the thousands of pictures Julie sent. Our only problem is choosing the best ones to print and frame. There are so many to choose from!!!!
When we first got engaged, my now-husband and I had no idea where to start with all of the different options, and vendors, etc. I was recommended to Julie and Tony by a co-worker, who couldn't say enough wonderful things about them. She went on and on about how friendly they were, and low-key, and how they truly wanted to capture a personalized vision for each client. I emailed back and forth with Julie, and finally met her and Tony and the Bridal Bazaar. They are both so personable and warm, it was hard not to sign a contract with them right then and there! We took what felt like a million card and portfolios at the bazaar, and went home and reviewed all of them. Not only did Julie and Tony have the best prices, especially for having TWO photographers the entire day, their work was wonderful and we could tell it was exactly what we needed. Everything from the engagement photos to the actual big day was so perfect in every single way, and the final product was even more incredible than we ever could have imagined! I cannot sing enough of Julie and Tony's praises, just like the woman who originally recommended them to me, and I can't even being to think of what our day would have been like without them. Thank you Julie and Tony!!
Choosing a photographer was one of the hardest decisions we had to making in the wedding planning process. My now-Husband and I had seen some examples of wedding pictures, and we knew we didn’t want, but had a hard timing deciding we exactly we did want. We went to the SD Bridal Bazaar, which was overflowing with photographers. We saw a lot of over-photo-shopped, whimsical, fish-eyed images, all of which we were not our style. We were really looking for natural, candid photos that we would love 30 years from now. We were also looking for a photographer that wouldn’t be afraid to give us some direction as to posing, as neither my Husband nor I are very photogenic! We met Tony and Julie at the Bazaar, and we were so impressed right away. Not only were they super friendly, but their photos were beautiful! We decided to go with them, and we could not be happier with our decision! They were a blast to hang out with at the wedding and we love the photos! They took a variety of formals and fun shots, all of which were beautiful. They emailed us the link for the pictures a month after the wedding, which is amazing because we have heard of people waiting 6 months! They also sent us the cutest box with the flash drive! Looking back, we are so glad we went with Eisenhower Photography and would highly recommend them!
I don't even know where to begin. Eisenhower Photography was beyond AMAZING! My wife and I met them at the Bridal Bazaar in San Diego over a year before our wedding. It was "love at first sight!" Before the end of our conversation, hugs were given, jokes were made and we walked away happier than a pig in mud. We could not wait for our engagement session and the wedding. Throughout the year, the Eisenhowers did not let us down once! From communicating, answering questions, being understanding about financial speed bumps, they were always happy and willing to work with us. When we sent our wedding timeline to them, we felt bad that we were asking them to be there for over 12 hours! But, once again, they did not complain, they did not limit our time, instead they hopped on the party bus with us and took a million pictures! Our wedding was in May and we are still mesmerized by the pictures. We are obsessed with them! Tony and Julie did a BEAUTIFUL job and thats saying the least. We plan to have them shoot our maternity photos and any other special event we want to forever remember. I would and am recommending Eisenhower Photography to anyone and everyone who needs a photographer. My wife and I have even said we would fly them out to Florida if needed...THATS how in love with them and their talent we are. THANK YOU EISENHOWER PHOTOGRAPHY!!
They are fabulous from price, to working with wedding party and family and guests to creativity and raw photographic skills. We couldn't have been any happier nor more impressed with the Eisenhowers from start to finish! Highly recommend them!!
