After we booked with them, they sent us a timeline of when we should be expecting certain things, and I was so excited when we finally got connected with our photographer and videographer a few weeks before the wedding day. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality photographer/videographer!

ge included 10 hours of photography, but we realize a week before the wedding that we needed an additional 2.5 hours. Eivan's made it super easy for us to add the additional hours, hassle-free. Our photographer Marina was a sweetheart! She communicated with us through email a month prior to our wedding day. I loved the fact that she asked us to send any wedding photo ideas that we liked so she can incorporate it into our photoshoot during our wedding day. She was very prompt and easy to work with, which made it easier to get through our hectic 12 hour wedding day. I would recommend Eivan's to anyone out there who's looking for great service along with value and professionalism! Thank you Eivan's for capturing our special day, all 1k of them!

and videographer were excellent. Not only were the photographer and videographer great but they were cool as all get out. I liked their personality and quality of the images. It really did exceed our expectations.

We really feel very blessed that we were able to get these guys at such an AMAZING price! All of my friends could not believe that there was a service out there like this, and when I tell my friends that are getting married they are so thankful. They are so easy to work with too. They always emailed back right away, or were able to answer the phone. They made photography stress free and easy, and even thought of things that I had not. I sent them an email informing them how upset and unprofessional it was and that I was disappointed. I thought that they would read my email and maybe I would get a response back but wasn't expecting it. Monday morning came and I received a phone call from the district manager apologizing and informing me that there was a glitch in the system and if I would allow him to go fix it for me and my daughter. I thought what do I have to lose I can always say no and not sign a contract with them. We went onsite this time for the consultation because I was not taking any chances for another glitch. So we get there and we were greeted very nicely then we were taken to a room for the consultation and to our surprise it was the manager he was going to conduct the consultation. I was happily surprised he again apologize and showed us the packages and because of the glitch we had happen he made sure he took care of it and made the package really sweet. He did not have to add all the extra stuff he did but because he was sorry and wanted to make sure we knew that he valued our business he made sure my daughters wedding package had everything she wanted. He was awesome I would highly recommend them because even if they mess up the accept it and fix it. Love them and will use them again.

Eivan's was able to match my husband's and I's styles and photo needs to a PERFECT photographer that worked extremely well with my family and bridal party. what to do to get great photos. I felt he, and Brandon (our videographer), were very flexible and professional. Not to mention, they were extremely kind and outgoing. When we received our photo gallery, we were over-the-top excited and happy. Mike truly caught the essense of our big day. My suggestion to you brides and grooms- do not get the lowest package. It was impossible for us to choose only 30 photos- we called for an upgrade right away. Definitely get the package with the rights to all the photos because they do such a wonderful job capturing all the special moments :) When doing my upgade, Sam was also extremely helpful in making sure I could get exactly what I needed. We highly suggest Eivan's!

to remember that day like it was yesterday. For that reason I was looking for a company that took their job seriously and was affordable. I came across Eivans while searching on this website www.theknot.com and gave it a shot. I saw the price and thought it was too good to be true. We scheduled a consultation and got lucky to have Steve as the consultant and as our photographer. He was awesome, so easy to work with and went along with anything I asked of him. He was so helpful and friendly. He was yes to make sure the day went smoothly. They prices were reasonable, compared to other companies. I felt that we got a lot for our money. The one thing I wish I would had done however was buy the copy rights to the pictures before the wedding. As they become extremely expensive after the wedding. After almost three years I called Evian's to see if the price for the pictures' copy rights had gone down, unfortunately it was the same price. I asked my husband if the pictures were worth it, which to be honest they are, but the price was out of our budget. I called again and asked if something could be done, they were able to bring the price down to something more comfortable. Though ideally it's not what I wanted to pay, I'm thankful they worked with me and lowered the price. I went ahead and bought the copyrights to my pictures and I don't regret it one bit! I do love the pictures and the work that Steve did! I know I will have these memories to cherish for years to come! I recommend Evian's Photography in a heartbeat.

eceived the picture proofs this week and we are so pleased with the photos and the fact that we received 2300 pictures! Eivans lets you see the proofs on their website with a watermark and then you can purchase the download rights immediately at an additional cost or wait a couple of months to receive the CD of all the photos (if purchased with your package). We will be waiting, but we are very happy with how they turned out and looking forward to sharing the photos!

ed me off the phone to sign the contract. Then they want a $250 deposit before ever seeing the contract, which turned us off. It was refundable, but still, we don't get to read the contract before putting money down? And then when you get the contract, it's only good for 24 hours, so you can't shop around. Then in the contract, it states several times that they are not responsible for lost pictures, or pictures not taken. I'm sorry, but if the photographer erases all of the pictures, then he/she IS responsible. It also states that photographer has priority over the guests for pictures and will do whatever is needed, i.e. push guests out of the way or just not take the picture at all, which of course they are not responsible for. They are also not responsible for taking any pictures which you want them to take. If you need to cancel the event, then you have to pay the full amount of the contract PLUS 50%. Seriously? They claim it's not a penalty, it's for damages. Finally according to the contract, you are not allowed to write any negative reviews. If you do, they will charge you for every day the negative review is posted. It is not enforceable, but you would still have to fight it and this is why you can't find many, if any, negative reviews about their service. What are they hiding if you can't leave a negative review? Buyer beware!

BEWARE BRIDES, you will spend $1,200. or more, and the memories of your special day will be sub standard. (they get one star ONLY because a rating is required) Kelly from Colorado Springs, CO

When we asked the status of where our photos were, we were told they were "too busy" to find them. We were able to get enough to make our album something we are proud of, but I would not recommend this company to anybody.

They were also very helpful in what I wanted to do in the reception because I wanted to sing for my wife and they provided me a mic to clip on my jacket and it was heard directly to the video so there was no echo. Overall, the service was stellar and you get a lot for your money so if you want QUALITY, go with Eivan's Photo & Video.

They were able to capture such amazing footage that I did not know was possible. I've never really done any photo shoots or anything, and the way they made us look in these photos were incredible! Some of the shots they took were so amazing, we had about another 5 couples book with them, just based on the two or three photos they saw of us on our wedding day. Not to mention, the prices and their customer service is great. Someone always gets back to me immediately if I call with any questions, and we were shocked that the pricing for photos and videos were not outrageous compared to several other companies. We are so happy we chose them for one of the most important days of our lives. This is truly a great company that I would recommend to anyone!

ce point. After several months of research, we came across Eivan's. We found them through a magazine advertisement on The Knot Chicago for a 10 hour Photo and Video package starting at $1299.00. Knowing this info, we were intrigued and decided to do more research on their work and what they can offer us. At first, we were skeptical with the low cost of the package. Many photographers charge thousands of dollars (I've seen photography pricing range from ($3,000 to 5,000) for photography only! And that's just separate from your additional video expenses!!! So obviously when we learned that they would provide both photo and video for a fraction of their cost, we then decided to check out their portfolio on their website to view their work. On their website, they had sample video highlights from prior weddings (which were shot on location) off their blog page and I'll have to say after viewing a few, they were excellent. It's no wonder they claim to hold the title of being professional storytellers of weddings! Their video reel highlights had professional grade cinematic quality to them. It was almost like watching a Hollywood movie except the stars are you and your husband!!! You even get the chance to add in your own special music to your wedding video so that was an added bonus. Using their downloadable link, you transfer your MP4 music and download it to their web page. Having the ability to add your favorite song to your wedding video really offers that personal touch to signify your special day. We loved their work so much that after looking at a few portfolios, my husband and I immediately booked an appointment with Elaine over in sales to make sure our date was available (which it was ). YaaY!!! Flash forward to 6 months post wedding... As I look back at our wedding album and DVD, I never regret choosing Eivan's. Once you've booked with Eivan's, there are forms they will periodically send you up until your big day. These forms are for you and your spouse to fill out detailing exactly what moments you want documented in order of priority. From there, they build a timeline for you so that every shot from beginning to end gets covered and nothing gets missed. On the week of your wedding, your photographer and videographer contact you over the phone to go over logistics and final details. They go over your ceremony and reception time line one last time to make sure your day runs smoothly and you get the pictures you want. I love that they have all this organized down to a science which tells me that they A.) Know what they're doing, B.) they've done it for a long time, and C.) they make sure that no detail goes missed as long as you specify what you want documented. Customer service was awesome and their customer relations handled any questions I had as quickly and prompt as possible. Sam was a pleasure to work with and the staff were kind and attentive to what my husband and I were looking for when it comes to professional wedding video and photography. Thank you Eivans for helping us create and document wonderful memories we will cherish for years to come.

50 deposit and the contract must be signed within 24hrs. I asked for contract amendments since the contract listed the videography service for $1299 instead of the $999 deal listed on the website. I was told there is a $300 fee that is added to every package. So I asked for the contract to clearly show this fee was added to the $999 package, not a problem. I asked for basic consumer protections added to the contract: a statement of guarantee of turnaround time and the company cancellation and refund polices added to the contract. They were very polite about it, but it is clear that they are looking for people that just sign a contract without looking at the terms. They immediately refunded my deposit and wished me a great day.

They are very professional and offer competitive prices. We were able to schedule all of are pictures when we were ready we did not have to worry about dates unavailable and all of are pictures turned out great. I was also glad that I decided to get the wedding video because there were so many things I did not see or forgot about because the day goes so fast. Thanks to Evians I have beautiful pictures and a video that will last a lifetime. I have no regrets and refer them to all my friends.

ting ready. They were very respectful of our house and even put up with the craziness of getting ready. At the ceremony they made us feel very comfortable. They were not in our face the whole time, but the pictures came out wonderful! We actually just received the link to view today and we could not have asked for better pictures/video! The reception they made sure to get the dancing as well as everyone who attended. They went table to table to take pictures of everyone. there had to have been 10 different people there taking pictures because they seemed to catch every single shot! They were great! They didn't make us awkwardly re-do any moments or anything like that. They kept our family group pictures moving smoothly, and made sure to catch some great action shots. If you go with Eivans you are definitely getting your money's worth! And be sure to ask for Will and John because they will undoubtedly do an amazing job!! We cannot thank them enough! Thank you guys!!

Eivans has some negative reviews out there and it made me skeptical so I did what I thought was best which was to prepare for the best photos possible. I communicated look, feel, and the exact timeline of the day. My photographer was kind but professional. I wish sometimes he would have had me adjust my stance, but we were left with 2400 photos and love so many of them! I recommend them for any couple on a budget who is willing to put in the little effort to communicate well and often. Ensure you track when they are supposed to contact you and know that you may have to travel to their offices to pick up your pictures. It's a hike, but you're not spending $4000 on the photographic artist that would do it all for you.

The only thing is, with this deal you are offered a CD of all the photos and a small photo album, as well as the DVD of the video. I'm not sure how this compares to other companies, but I would have preferred to also have some hard copies of photos that I didn't have to pay extra for (ie, the hard copy photos are available for purchase, but are quite expensive per photo...on the order of $8-15/photo, which is something to think about for when your family/guests want to order some). However, the quality of the photos is very good, so it might balance out in the end.

bigger packages, if not the biggest. We had a wedding of 400 people and a bridal party of over 30 people so we did need a good number of photographers and videographers. We used Eivan's for both our photography and videography for our wedding. They were not only on time, but overstaffed! They arrived cheerful in the morning and excited to start. They started setting up immediately after Mike (our head photographer) greeted me and had many kind words to say. Just an overall great start. THEY CAPTURED EVERYTHING we requested. I had prepared a list which they went above and beyond on! (you do have to tell them what you want to capture so if they miss it, you don't blame any photographer you choose for not reading your mind) :) The photographers and videographer went on our party bus with us to capture moments on there as well as easily got off stops together. We have AWESOME street footage downtown and captured one of the best parts of the wedding. They continued on throughout the night with us just as requested. We received our photos immediately, I want to say one week. Then our video in less than the 3 months promised in our contract. We had some edits, but to be honest not too many however the edits were also prompt and within their timeline. The work itself was what we were looking for and the price was very very generous given industry standard pricing for the quality of work and package we received from Eivan's.

I spoke with AJ for a good 2 hours; he was patient enough to answer all of my questions to the point that my wife and I booked our wedding that night with him. The pricing was fair, especially for what we got. We booked Eivan's a good 10months before our wedding, and they were always in communication with us. My wife and I never felt like we were in the dark, as they constantly would send us emails and correspondences every several weeks. Of course, as the wedding came closer, those correspondences naturally increased appropriately. The day of the wedding was swift and smooth. They came to my wife's home first, then to my house and took photos and video. They were punctual, professional, and discreet. It's no secret that planning a wedding is stressful enough. I have a hundred other things that I need to worry about, and of all the things that could go wrong, I was always confident that Eivan's would not be one of those. They proved it from the moment my wife and I walked into their office to the moment my wife and I walked out the banquet hall. I would highly recommend Eivan's to my friends and family.

deography for half the price of what other vendors were charging, but since this was our Anniversary and not our Wedding, we decided to take a chance. Boy oh boy, am I happy we did! We booked the service with the Eivan's in Schaumburg, IL 2 weeks before our event and every detail was addressed even though we didn't give them much time to pull it together. We took the package without a photo album, but with the rights to all our photos. Eivan's had my online photo gallery up within a week after my event and the photos were excellent! My photographer's name was Mike and he was excellent, caring, attentive, professional and talented. I haven't gotten my video back yet, so I can't comment on that, but I wouldn't expect the quality to be anything less than great. I don't think I could have gotten anything more or anything better from the companies that wanted to charge double. If you're looking for a photographer/videographer, don't look any further than Eivan's.

I was able to get at least one of the shots i wanted from a friend and included that in the album. I really didn't think through the timelines in the contract though and that is where we are in the process now. I had another friend married a month after we were and they have their pictures and album from their local photographer. We are still waiting. All of this was in the contract, i just didn't think about how long it really was due to the pricing. Once the pictures were taken it was several weeks before they were available online. They remained available online (and could be downloaded for a huge fee, but we will be getting them on cd free so were not going to pay to get them early) for 3 months. They don't even start putting the album together until that 3 months is up. Putting the package together takes another 2 - 3 months. So our wedding was july 12th. The pictures online 'expired' november 3rd. It is currently december and we are hoping to get the package in January. In the mean time, family and friends that didn't want to wade through 600+ online photos or were not computer friendly (my mother in law), keep asking when they will get to see the wedding pictures. My friend was married in august and had their pictures back early October. I still can't give it a final rating however because i don't yet know the quality of the album and if they put it together the way we requested.

not terribly. When I returned to sign the papers the price had magically increased almost $300 due to "tax". There was no explanation of cost besides the tax and $300 in "freebies" which in the end aren't free because they are tacked on at the end of the total. When I told Elaine that this was not the price we discussed she very rudely told me that she had mentioned it at our previous appointment when it was not, and that it was in the email. It was in the email but in a font size that is almost too small to read. This may be a great photography company in the end, but make sure you read all of the fine lines and details before you sign something or else you may end up paying a lot more than you originally discussed. I would not suggest this company to anyone, just on this small encounter alone. If they are going to do this kind of questionable business in the beginning, I was not going to wait and see what else was going to happen. VERY disappointed. Pay the extra money and go with someone who isn't going to mislead you with their marketing, or call to ask you to take down a negative review. Very unprofessional!

if you are interested in both. One of my girlfriends/bridesmaids also used them for her wedding and she too got a really great package deal! They are definitely worth checking out if you are looking for nice quality and the most affordability for what you get. They also are very fast and are good about getting as many pictures in during the amount of time that they have. Definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer.

Our wedding was just on 9/21/14, and we are currently waiting for the pictures and video. We know they will both be awesome!
