We have nothing but amazing things to say about Eivans- and we are just so in love with our wedding images and videos. We would have written the review already for 5 stars before seeing them, but we’d write it for 6 if we could after seeing the finished products. Being a larger company, Eivans has an incredible depth of professionals available, and we are so pleased by those assigned to work with us. We loved how engaged our professionals were with our day, and all of the amazing creative ideas they had. Just looking at these pictures brings tears to the eyes as they exactly capture our day.
Somehow all of these little funny moments we thought would only live in our memory are beautifully captured forever. We are so amazed at the many little moments with our loved ones captured that we will get to see in gorgeous detail in photo and video forever. It is a treasure that we cannot put a price on. We found ourselves commenting frequently at how much fun our professionals were and how much they added to our day, while also being 'invisible' during important moments and still capturing the emotion and movement in detail. We are so grateful to our photographer and videographer for the gift they have given us in capturing our day with attention to detail and artistry!

Our wedding was in the middle of the covid pandemic and caused so much stress for my husband and me. After rescheduling the date and the location multiple times we were finally abl...
e to get married in April 2021. Rescheduling with Eivan’s was as simple as a form. We had a couple of hiccups with the date change but Sam was able to assist (more than once) and meet our expectations. The wedding went on without a hitch and the photographers and videographers were amazing. I needed guidance on how to pose and what pictures to take and they knew exactly what to do. We even had a drone to get an aerial view of the church and the golf course, which came out amazing in the video. After the big day we were able to get our photos very fast and had them within months, it was amazing. We did however have some bumps in the road when it came to our video and trailer. As one can expect there were delays due to covid and staffing. Our video edits took longer than expected and it did get frustrating when trying to reach out for assistance. However, we spoke with Sam, one of the managers, who was able to resolve our issues and ease our frustrations in the end. Overall the experience may have had some hiccups but Eivan’s was definitely the best choice for our big day.

I inquired with Eivan's after getting an email from the knot about a deal they were having. 1. They emailed me 13 times in 2 days! 2. The call I did set up with them was the perfec...
t sales pitch but it was only that. The girl I was talking to asked me to hold for a couple minutes and when she came back she said the exact same sentence she had said before placing me on hold. She was very clearly reading from a script. 3. The prices that are listed on their website are bogus. They say they have packages starting at $999 and packages starting at $1299 when in fact the real price you will pay for even their basic packages is several hundred dollars above this cost. There is nowhere in their emails or on their website that informs their customers that there is "added taxes and fees" so they don't actually offer any packages that are their stated prices. 4. The lady also couldnt give me portfolios to look at for the photographers avalible in our area. She said I would be informed who my photographer would be a month or so before the wedding! Why would anyone book a photographer that they hadn't seen their work?! 5. I emailed the girl back after she followed up to see if I had any questions and let her know my concerns with the process she was requiring we follow. She never responded to that email but I continues to get all of their "personalized" emails from "her". Moral of the story, dishonest company as far as advertising goes. Annoying as far as their sales tactics and impersonal to the extreme. They need a business consultant. I am sure they lose a lot of sales for this experience they provide.

I sent an inquiry to Eivan's after getting an email from the knot regarding a special they were running. We set up a phone call and that went off fine. However, I felt like the con...
sultant was REALLY trying to sell me on their services she kept pitching add-ons that weren't really add-ons (like an engagement session) and then saying this will expire if you don't decide in 72 hours. Which rubbed me the wrong way. Also, they have the number one thing I hate attached to their photography packages which is you pay a seemingly low rate for the photography services but then have to pay astronomically high fees to actually get copies of the photos you take. At the end of the call she said she would send me a summary of the information we discussed and the list of photographers available in the Twin Cities. Instead I got an email stating I had missed my appointment and a link to reschedule. Granted I did tell her the price she quoted me to actually get a package where I got the rights to all of my photos was someone out of our budget so maybe she just crossed me off her list. But that's not very good customer service and ff they can't even keep their consults straight I am definitely not going to pay them $2500 to photograph one of the most important days of my life.

Mitchell and Galen were our videographer/photography team. I was pretty nervous because they did not know each other and it was our videographers first event with the company. Howe...
ver, I immediately became relaxed after the first time I spoke with our photographer, Galen. We instantly connected while discussing the tone/setting of my wedding. He spent a lot of time truly getting to know our story. The next day, I talked to our videographer, Mitchell. He blew me away when explaining the process (videography was new to me) and going over what the most important moments/aspects were to my us and our families. Our wedding ceremony was very intimate and Galen and Mitchell did everything they could do to make sure they captured those moments. Almost 3 months later and our wedding guests are still talking about how great they were. While taking pictures, we noticed our photographer was wearing an ice pack on his back while he was laying on the floor to get the shot I wanted. After a lot of prodding from a group of women, he finally told us he had hurt his back just days before. Not once did he grimace, complain or hold back on the shots he was getting - for 10 hours. We are so thankful we got this team and for their friendship that day. Our videographer actually handed me a kleenex because he thought I was crying. Couldn't have asked for a better day!

They were so polite to all of our guests, and got amazing shots. We really feel very blessed that we were able to get these guys at such an AMAZING price! All of my friends could not believe that there was a service out there like this, and when I tell my friends that are getting married they are so thankful. They are so easy to work with too. I thought what do I have to lose I can always say no and not sign a contract with them. We went onsite this time for the consultation because I was not taking any chances for another glitch. So we get there and we were greeted very nicely then we were taken to a room for the consultation and to our surprise it was the manager he was going to conduct the consultation. I was happily surprised he again apologize and showed us the packages and because of the glitch we had happen he made sure he took care of it and made the package really sweet. He did not have to add all the extra stuff he did but because he was sorry and wanted to make sure we knew that he valued our business he made sure my daughters wedding package had everything she wanted. He was awesome I would highly recommend them because even if they mess up the accept it and fix it. Love them and will use them again.

They took well over 2,000 photos and hours and hours of video! We could not have asked for any better than this team. I highly recommend Eivan's.

re, which I appreciated. It was very clear that he knew exactly what to do to get great photos. I felt he, and Brandon (our videographer), were very flexible and professional. Not to mention, they were extremely kind and outgoing. When we received our photo gallery, we were over-the-top excited and happy. Mike truly caught the essense of our big day. My suggestion to you brides and grooms- do not get the lowest package. It was impossible for us to choose only 30 photos- we called for an upgrade right away. Definitely get the package with the rights to all the photos because they do such a wonderful job capturing all the special moments :) When doing my upgade, Sam was also extremely helpful in making sure I could get
exactly what I needed. We highly suggest Eivan's!

I got married September 28, 2013! Not sure why it took me this long to write a review. But here it goes:
I love pictures, I think they are one of the most important aspects of any...
celebration. A picture can take you back in time and allow you to remember that day like it was yesterday. For that reason I was looking for a company that took their job seriously and was affordable.
I came across Eivans while searching on this website www.theknot.com and gave it a shot. I saw the price and thought it was too good to be true. We scheduled a consultation and got lucky to have Steve as the consultant and as our photographer. He was awesome, so easy to work with and went along with anything I asked of him. He was so helpful and friendly. He was yes to make sure the day went smoothly. They prices were reasonable, compared to other companies. I felt that we got a lot for our money. The one thing I wish I would had done however was buy the copy rights to the pictures before the wedding. As they become extremely expensive after the wedding.
After almost three years I called Evian's to see if the price for the pictures' copy rights had gone down, unfortunately it was the same price. I asked my husband if the pictures were worth it, which to be honest they are, but the price was out of our budget. I called again and asked if something could be done, they were able to bring the price down to something more comfortable. Though ideally it's not what I wanted to pay, I'm thankful they worked with me and lowered the price.
I went ahead and bought the copyrights to my pictures and I don't regret it one bit! I do love the pictures and the work that Steve did! I know I will have these memories to cherish for years to come!
I recommend Evian's Photography in a heartbeat.
