Our Photographer (Klaus) and Videographer (Jose) took care of us as well, for what can normally be a busy and stressful day, they made it very relaxing and calming for us, make our minds have less things to worry about. Which was stupid because at the time COVID was not really a concern anymore. The photographer, that I did not want, ended up contacting me the DAY BEFORE the wedding when I am running around getting ready for the rehearsal and the wedding day. She was very unorganized and kept getting me confused with another Nicole she had that weekend. Very unprofessional. After 2 months, I finally get my wedding photos back and they are undesirable. I , the bride, was making weird faces in most of the photos. She did not edit the shadows out of the photos. She also chose poor backgrounds in the most beautiful venue. Super disappointed. Do not hire them.

Once the mother of the groom inquired about a new wedding we were contacted immediately. Once on the phone, we were assigned a photographer and a videographer who was not who we selected and was told ‘Covid” was the reason for 48 days of radio silence. We understood that, per our contract, there was a chance this would happen and do not blame Eivan’s for rearranging their employees as needed. Weddings are stressful enough as is, and it was disheartening when we did not find this information out until about week before our wedding. 10/4/2020 Calls with the photographer and videographer to set “day of” expectations 10/10/2020 Videographer showed up late and failed to get video of the groom getting ready. Photographers failed to get pictures of the groom getting ready. Per our contract we understand that not every request we made was guaranteed to be captured. However, it is disheartening that those moments were missed. Photographers and videographer were in each other’s shot during the ceremony Photographer “helper” seen multiple times sitting in grooms’ room during the reception 11/25/2020 Link sent to review wedding photos (we had to wait before we could download the pictures per our contract) 12/1/2020 Link sent for wedding video (preview only) 1/29/2021 email sent inquiring as to when we would be sent the download link for the pictures 1/29/2021 Eivans send the downloadable link for the pictures and video. 2/3/2021 Pictures ~6.5/10. Accepted. Video has some audio issues and we requested they be fixed. Eivans allots 1 hours for video edits. Anymore is additional cost. 3/14/21 Updated video was received but was roughly 15% zoomed in and audio issues still present. Eivans said they edited the video correctly, but a technical error occurred while uploading. after our wedding was cancelled due to Covid. Our wedding was cancelled the month before it was suppose to be as our part of NY state wasn’t open for weddings and my husband and I decide we weren’t going to wait another 2 years for the big wedding as that was our only option with our venue. I had paid in full and once I notified Eivans, they told me they couldn’t give me any part of a refund. Our other vendors worked with us and gave us a full refund or everything but the deposit. Then there was Eivans who kept all our money and made an already heartbreaking moment in life so much worse.

heir specific style was what I wanted. At first I wasn't too worried, but I was quickly proven otherwise. Both the photographer and videographer were extremely unprofessional and very rushed (resulting in poor quality work). The photographer just gave us all 4000 of our wedding photos completely unedited. 85% of which are blurry and simply awkward. Mine and my husband's portraits have a yellow chain link fence in the pictures and a baseball game going on behind us, and in about half of them there is a shadow completely covering my husband's face (I could go on, there are many more examples of horrible photos from the day). For the video, the videographer just set up the tripod in the middle of the room and clicked "shoot". Our video is boring and absolute terrible quality. The only photos and videos I actually like from my wedding are the ones from guests taken on cell phones. My husband and I will be retaking our wedding photos with a friend . I wish I didn't spend $4000 on them. What we got isn't even worth $5.

Customer service does not respond, they do not help you or answer your questions and if they do, all they do is send you copies sections from the contract. Just please do not hire these people.

None of our other vendors were this difficult to work with, or even difficult at all, despite all this replanning in this pandemic mess. Also, the fact that our digital downloads of photos and video will not be available until over 3 months after the wedding is a crazy amount of time.

d. Our governor issued a state of emergency and banned large gatherings, per CDC guidelines. When we first contacted Eivan's, we were told we could not receive any refunds. We could either use this package for another date or transfer it over to someone else. We did not accept this offer because we had completely cancelled our wedding. When we asked to speak to someone higher, we were told we needed to schedule calls with management and the soonest appointment was in two-weeks time. We scheduled the call and we spoke with Sam J, who said the policy of no refunds was applicable to only those who signed their contract after April 2020.* Sam confirmed our eligibility for a refund but only for 40% of the $2299 we originally paid. Per the contract, refunds are issued "minus expenses," and 60% of the total was spent on admin expenses. When we asked for a breakdown of the expenses, he wasn't prepared with an answer. He said conducting that research would incur additional costs in admin expenses, decreasing our refund total. When we insisted that research should not cost us additional expense and asked to speak to someone higher, Sam said we would need to pay $350 to speak with their legal team. Upon pressing further that claiming 60% of the total was incurred in admin expenses without having completed the research initially calls into question the validity of said claim, Sam became aggravated and swiftly ended the call. When we attempted to call back to continue the discussion, a representative said we would need to schedule another call with management. Again, we would need to wait two weeks. We have not yet accepted a refund from the company as we are looking to get more straight answers. * For those who signed a contract with Eivan's before April 24, 2020, the Terms & Conditions are different than what is listed on its site currently. hey are more than worth the investment. I had one on one connection with our photographer, Ina. She was amazing! and you could tell she wanted to please me and my new husband's photograph needs. She sent an introduction email and took the extra step to have a conversation before the wedding to get a timeline for herself going and she made sure she had everything covered! On the day of the wedding, she was the best! she made sure all members of the party were photographed and she was able to connect with the kids, help to make them smile in every photo. I would definitely recommend Evian's because of the wonderful experience I had with Ina. Thank you Eivan's for providing flexibility to us when our venue closed and we had to change our wedding date and location. They were more than understanding of our situation. Thank you so much!!

hem, so we reached out and told them we would no longer be going with them. Our wedding planner said no problem, and our deposit was was refundable. Come around 2 weeks later and we are still disputing to get our $250 deposit back and then on top of that they ask you to pay them an additional $900 to cancel your wedding event no matter how far out it is. They are rude and unprofessional. Go with another company, don't get swayed by their prices.

hair and makeup done, they were doing dress pictures, they had the wrong name hangers with the wrong dresses, and one of them was backwards! Obviously I did not see this until after our wedding. Also, they cut out half of my bridal party while we were up at the alter so I don’t have ANY photos of everyone standing up there. They also took most photos on such an awkward angle, and some pictures even had their finger in the picture! So so so much more went wrong, but I’m warning you now, STAY AWAY!

We tried on many different occasions to try to get an excellent video from them. It just isn’t worth the money. I wish I went to someone else. To say I’m disgusted and upset with the people they hire and the finish product is an understatement! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bill and Ali made the drive out from Chicago to Minneapolis to shoot our wedding. They were punctual and every professional. They listened to everything that my husband and I said and captured us as a couple and not just the typical wedding photos. Best of all we got our photos and videos within a month!! We have 1500 pictures to choose from and they are all amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better team to work with!!

of the specific things I mentioned were not in their first draft of the video. They do offer a free first edit if you're unhappy. We still have not received the second video. Some of the footage had distorted audio, unclear images, or incorrect zoom. The editing was fairly nice, but the overall quality felt very low, especially considering how much it cost us.

but Eivan's as a company just really sucked. We had to negotiate hard for the package we ended up with, and even when we received our DVDs, they had the wrong date printed on them. There were a lot of little things like that that didn't originate with the actual in-person folks we met and dealt with, so I would recommend those two people but definitely not Eivan's as a company. They really contributed to my stress during planning.

all, non-traditional wedding, but Eivan's came through for us in a big way. We kept our wedding small and mostly informal with just 15 family members (no wedding party) at a local historic garden, but wanted to capture the day with candid photos, family portraits, and some creative bridal shots. Daniel (Danny) was our sales representative, and he was able to work with us to create a custom 4-hour photography package that fit our needs at a great price point for our small budget. Throughout the six months after booking we received multiple polite check-ins from the company that reminded us about payment schedules, photo checklists, and a selection of available photographers and their portfolios. We ended up choosing Anthony as our photographer after reviewing his portfolio and we could not have been happier with his professionalism, attitude, and creativity! Anthony arrived on time, was incredibly polite, and blended in with our small wedding crowd so well he felt like a part of the family. We gave him free rein to capture candid photos and he used the small garden and museum backdrops to his full advantage for some very creative shots. My husband and I are a little camera shy, but he made the entire experience enjoyable and we felt like we were a part of the creative photography process as we guided him to some of our favorite historic spots nearby for photos. Normally the editing process takes 3-6 weeks, but we actually received our photos in less than 2 weeks via a gallery. It was amazing how many beautiful photos Anthony was able to capture in the short four hours he was with us. Our family and friends who were not in attendance cannot stop talking about how the photos made them feel like they were there with us on our wedding day! Overall, we highly recommend Eivan's for capturing whatever special occasion you may have because they will go above and beyond to take care of your every need.
