't be happier. All of our friends and family fell in love with our pictures. Each shot was perfection. When we received our digital images, I had hundreds in my favorites folder! Emily is definitely a hard worker and wants nothing but the best for each client. She is very professional and keeps things moving on the wedding day. We had a very large wedding party and she was able to direct everyone quickly so we were able to get all the shots we wanted at the church. I would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. She will NOT disappoint!

have her. I knew Emily was smart, creative and hilarious, but to see her turn that into a living via capturing memories for others made me immensely proud. I hadn't seen her in several years, but it didn't matter. I laid eyes on her and it was as if we were back in the dorms, lovingly arguing over video games or music. The work of a wedding photographer is similar to herding cats (or, drunk cats, as it were) and Emily does it calmly and professionally. That is Emily 100%. I could go on eternally about the work she does; she is thoughtful, flexible, attentive and just the person you want on your big day. Emily has an amazing ability to “fit in” with any group, individual or situation. We had a diverse group, and everyone loved her! Honestly, I felt like I had known her for years. Great sense of humor, super friendly, really professional and did I mention she’s a ninja? Emily is a master of the candid shot (which is one of my personal favorites, and we communicated this to her). At times I never even saw her, only the photos days later. I swear one time she popped out from behind the bushes! Emily will continue to pursue excellence. She will continue to make other photographers/packages obsolete. -time friend to photograph our wedding. On the day of our wedding, Emily was nothing but professional. More importantly though, she made sure we had fun the entire day. With the stress that occur on your big day, it was so awesome to have some that could lighten the mood, keep us calm, and make us smile. Our photos were absolutely gorgeous. Emily was constantly trying to think outside of the box and come up with beautiful, unique shots. We were so happy with our photos that we have used Emily numerous times since our wedding for baby and child sessions. We absolutely love her and would never use another photographer.

ince then, we have had the privilege of working with Emily twice more doing newborn photos for both of our sons. Anytime people see our wedding or baby photos they give nothing but compliments to the photographer! You will not be disappointed with Emily's work, she really is wonderful!!

advice about what not to do and shared their own horror stories – a destination wedding with thumbprints in all the pictures, albums that looked like they were made after someone’s first day on the job, or photographers who got the shots, but at the expense of being overly conspicuous and disrupting to their special day. I knew I didn’t want any of that…… Emily was referred to us by my best friend, and after corresponding with her and reading her website profile, not to mention looking at all the BEAUTIFUL photos she had taken of other weddings, I knew we had found the right person. Her manner was very professional, but it was also so much more than that. She certainly knows her craft, and she knew when I needed her to direct us, and when I needed her to just blend into the background and capture those candid moments. She knew how to be, where to be, and when to be, and for as nervous as we both were on that day, we were extremely grateful to have her. I’m one of those people who dislikes most of her pictures, and there wasn’t a SINGLE shot she took of me that I didn’t like. To be honest, the entire album she put together was a MASTERPIECE. She made us all look like supermodels. Her talent is evident, and I don’t need to boast, because the pictures speak for themselves. Choose Emily. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed.

got all our important church pics in!! We've shown people our album and some pictures we have from our wedding and they have in turn used Emily for their weddings as well!! I truly did not worry about our pictures at all on our wedding day knowing Emily was in charge, and I was not disappointed in the least. I cannot recommend her enough, everything turned out beautifully!!!

The photography was the most important thing to both my husband and I... These pictures are the physical memories that we have of the most special day for our entire life! I was so nervous to choose someone to trust with that.. Emily out did herself!! Not only did she get absolutely gorgeous pictures, when I look at them I remember the EXACT feeling I had at that moment. She captured both the beauty AND emotion of everything. Our wedding party got a little crazy once we were taking pictures at the reception but both her and Crystal went with the flow and just had fun with us. I wish I could go on for days about how happy we have been with her!! I will recommend her to every person I know that is getting married!! AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!!!!!

and direction that she gives. Important too are those moments that she captured that you didn't know she captured...I actually cried at some of the candid shots she got of the bride and groom. Her attention to detail captured their essences and personalities as they were simply having fun. I was amazed that we didn't even notice her or her assistant yet after viewing the photos she was everywhere, capturing little nuances of the entire day. I have attended many weddings and been in a few wedding parties but my mind was blown away when I saw the wedding album she put together. Just beyond anything I had seen and something I would want for any friend or family member. Thank you Emily for making that amazing day live on for us through your photos!

estly one of the nicest vendors I have ever worked with. Emily has an amazing eye for detail and she really knows her stuff. She was wonderful on our wedding day when it came to schedule and knowing what needed to get done, when, where, etc. And she knew just how to get those perfect shots and really capture all of the special moments, no matter how small. I would 110% recommend Emily (and I do recommend her to all of my friends that have gotten married since us!)

vidual moments that happen in a day overflowing with special moments. She manages to be involved without becoming obvious, which is a must to capture those fleeting moments naturally as they happen. Even for the staged family shots, Emily is able to keep family members together and on task, which in our case was akin to herding cats! Best of all was our wedding album. Emily was able to take her pictures & retell the story of our day in such a striking manner, from the bridal party/groomsmen getting ready to the ceremony itself and all the way to the celebrated moments with friends & family at the reception. We will cherish Emily's work for years to come!

ity is not limited to normal "wedding poses", and for that I am thankful. Beyond the final results, I was happy with every other aspect of the process. Meeting with her and discussing what we wanted was easy and enjoyable. She quickly put this nervous bride at ease. She has a great sense of humor which made it easier when it came to photographing *some* members of my family, haa haa. Seriously, this was the best use of my wedding budget. My wedding was over before I could really enjoy most of it, but I will have those photos for the rest of my life! Thanks to Emily, my young daughter will someday be able to see a photo of my great grandmother (now deceased) dancing with my husband. That is worth more than I could have ever paid her! Her pricing is very fair. There are so many people out there who call themselves "photographers" now days, because they bought a fancy camera. It's hard to weed through to find someone really good. Look no further! This is genuine talent. You are not paying for a good camera. You are paying for the woman behind the camera. I recommend her as, hands down, the best photographer out there!

at we grew close to her throughout the whole planning process so it felt more like we had a close friend photographing our wedding then someone we hired! We are so happy with our wedding photos and album...we continue to brag about how lucky we were to find Emily! In fact we were so happy with Emily that we have since hired her to take our family photos and we are very excited to have just booked her to take our upcoming maternity and newborn photos later this year! I would highly recommend Emily to anyone! We are proud to say that we have found our lifetime photographer!

There were 3 weddings in my family within a 4 month span that year, and my wedding was easily the favorite, and when I showed my family the DVD of all the pictures Emily took, my uncle (who hardly says anything) stated that the pictures just captured how great and wonderful the day was. Not to mention, my mom was ready to adopt Emily has her 4th daughter. She truly was (and still is) like a member of our family. Since our wedding was in Frankenmuth and it was a destination wedding, Emily didn't stay overnight, but we actually missed her when she left. Good thing we called her a few years later to take our son's baby pictures! Somehow Emily has the incredible talent of looking through the lens of her camera and capturing the true personality and magic of each event and person she photographs!

were beautiful and her prices very reasonable. Plus she was super nice. So we bought a wedding package from her that included an engagement session. She came out to where we were living then and spent hours with us for our engagement pics. We got to know her that day, and we were totally delighted with her expertise, her laid-back attitude, and her super hilarious sense of humor. It was a great day, and the pics turned out amazing, but it was nothing compared to our actual wedding day a few months later. She spent the entire day with us, from the salon in the morning until the reception was winding up at like 11pm (which was well beyond the time I expected her to stay). As others have said, she is a total ninja. I actually made the banquet manager go find her to make sure she was getting some dinner because I had no idea where she was. Looking at our STUNNING pictures, you'd think she was in our faces all day. I still can't image how she could have gotten some of the incredible moments she captured. I never saw her!! She made the formal pics after the ceremony go very smoothly, and gave us great suggestions and ideas for some poses that turned out to be my favorite shots. The rest of the day was all candid shots, and my husband and I still marvel at how perfectly she managed to capture every special moment of our wedding day. My entire family loved Emily, and she has gone on to shoot two (or three? I lost count) of my friends weddings, and they were all equally amazed and delighted with her. We were so lucky to find Emily, and I can say with absolute confidence that she will MAKE YOUR WEDDING AWESOME. HIRE HER NOW.

would be our photographer. I didn't even meet with any other photographer because there was no need - Emily is hands down one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Our photographs and album are beautiful! She is fun, easy to work with, creative, and makes everyone feel comfortable, not to mention puts out a great product! o responded as a human being, not as a blanket reply. From the first contact with her, I knew I wanted her to capture our day. Her work I saw on her website was what I was looking for, and she was professional yet personable. My husband and I hired her without ever meeting her! When we finally did meet just a week before our big day, we knew we had made the right choice. She was very down to earth, listened to everything we wanted and gave us more ideas to run with. She rode the party bus after the ceremony and captured some of the most amazing moments from our day; One of our favorites was standing in the middle of Woodward Ave for a kiss..on a gameday! To this day (6 years now) we STILL get compliments on our photographer, how nice and fun she was, and how amazing our pictures turned out. We could not have asked for a better photographer, who has become a good friend. You will not be disappointed!! :)

We had the best time with her and never once worried about a thing. Now here I am, a few years later and I'm bringing Emily to Pittsburgh for my very own wedding! it was never even a question when it came to who our photographer would be. photographer in the state of Michigan, so I've seen it all. Once, a photographer stood on a church few to get his shot and the priest stopped the processional to yell at him. He yelled back at the priest and the priest made him leave the church..this was all DURING the processional. So, like I said, I have seen it ALL as far as wedding photographers are concerned. Well, when it was finally my turn to get married, I didn't even have to think twice about who I wanted for my photographer and I actually planned my wedding date around Emily's availability. At the time I got engaged, I had worked with Emily at least 30 times I was always so impressed at how well she worked under pressure. And trust me, there's a lot of pressure when photographing a wedding..I mean, it's not a hollywood movie set where you can do several takes until you get it right. Weddings are days full of emotion and you must be on your toes at all times to make sure you get those little moments captured. Emily does what she has to do to get her shot, but never at the expense of making your guests feel uncomfortable or causing a distraction. She's professional, fun, funny, friendly, personable and quick witted. All of these attributes really matter when you pick a photographer because this person is literally going to be interacting with you from start to finish. You can hate your cake person, but if you are even slightly annoyed with the person you hire to do your pictures, it will affect you and ultimately it will affect your pictures. Now that I've gone on and on about Emily's personality, let me talk now about her work. She's an artist and she's very gifted. Not everyone in the business is, but this woman knows her stuff. She knows her cameras too and she worked with them all day. She's an expert with lighting and she doesn't settle for less than perfect when it comes to getting just the right shot. After she gets the perfect raw shot, she then turns to editing to make it absolutely perfect. We love our wedding pictures. We have them displayed all over our house and every single day I walk past them and I smile. I smile because not only are our photos are amazing but I smile because every time I look at the, I remember Emily. So, in conclusion...look no further. Stop what you're doing and HIRE HER. You will not regret it...I promise.

he day of the wedding, and preparing before hand, was spot on. I felt she knew the type of pictures we were going for and I wasn't worried if any shots would be missed. I never felt as though she was intruding on our space but was never missing from the action. She did great with the timeline that we were given from the venue and was even able to help me keep the night going smoothly. She worked great with my other vendors and they made a great team for the perfect night. For the quality of her services, her pricing is incredibly fair. Her turnaround time is excellent and her communication through out the process is always prompt. I highly recommend Emily!

pite being tight on time after the ceremony, she honored my request to try and sneak in a few park pictures. She then posted a sneak peak of not one, but 8 photos the week after the wedding. I am in love with them all, and cannot wait to see the rest!!
