r venue. It is rare to meet a couple with a love as strong as your guys'- not only this, but the hospitality that you and your guests created for not only us, but our banquet staff was incredible! We felt like family too. We would love to see how the pictures came out (gorgeous, I am sure), and want to see you guys again for dinner! Our door is always open to you and Noah, we can not thank you enough for allowing us to be apart of your special day.

ps. We definitely have events here enough that we can offer couples a beautiful wedding with excellent food and service for a very affordable price. El Adobe has been around for a long time and we have the ability to plan events with confidence and not a whole lot of back and forth. At our initial tour we provide lots of information and make couples aware of all the options as well as how laid back we are. We have lots of clients who email us with questions regarding their wedding and are happy to respond as our events manager has been in the industry for over 15 years and has that knowledge and experience. With that said we want our clients to know that we are here to help with the venue and catering, not with the planning of the specific details of your event that is what a wedding planner or coordinator is for. Anne was a very organized bride, very detail oriented and although we can appreciate that, we did feel there was a lack of confidence in our abilities and a little too much picking apart of every detail. We are flexible and laid back and perhaps it was just a difference in personalities. As far as the rehearsal goes, unfortunately there was a death of one of our beloved members of the community and this was the only evening they could host a memorial service to honor them. We did offer to reschedule their rehearsal earlier in the day or maybe after their rehearsal dinner around 7pm or even in a different location onsite to do at least walk-through but they were not willing to make any changes. It definitely was not about the money, we charge a fair price in comparison to other venues and don't really have that kind of focus as we are here to serve our community and our pricing reflects that. In the end it was a positive learning experience for us and we have since created a list of things that may or may not happen as well as things that are not allowed so that clients can mentally prepare and plan for these things if they should arise and plan accordingly. We were flexible with certain details of this event such as bringing in outside alcohol which is immediately confiscated if brought onsite as well as not enforcing the mandatory day of coordinator rule which is almost never permitted and I believe caused a lot of this clients perceived miscommunications. We want to accommodate all budgets and requests to help people have their dream weddings but hope that clients will reciprocate this flexibility and understanding.
