in 2019 when we originally booked our wedding for May of 2020 and then had our plans repeatedly disrupted through the next year until we were finally were able to have a successful wedding on 9/10/21. Through the last year the team at El Caribe did everything they could to accommodate date changes, menu requests, requests from vendors and simple favors. On the date of our wedding everything went a smoothly as possible from beginning to end, I received countless compliments on the food and service through out the night. It was truly memorable and well worth the wait!!! THANK YOU!!!

are two of the things that were most important to my Husband and I. We both come from big Italian families, so the food was the number one priority for us, and we knew that we had nothing to worry about since El Caribe is known for their food and hospitality. Our family and friends are still talking about the cocktail hour- they were amazed by all the different food choices, including a lobster station, and raw bar, but they were also very comfortable since the room allows your guest to be able to sit down and eat. We were lucky to have worked with Maureen and Ralph - they were always very quick to answer any and all of my emails. The day of we had Sal, Jason and Ally (Maureen and Ralph were behind the scenes that day); all were phenomenal. Ally was the bridal attendant she was able to help bustle me, and throughout the night kept reminding me to eat or drink something. Jason was our maitre de and was always making sure to check in with us about timing, especially with organizing our family photos in the hall. Sal made sure that nothing was out of sorts, and that everything was running as smooth as possible. Ralph made our dream wedding cake come true, not only was it beautiful, but it was also delicious! There is no place better than the El Caribe, wedding planning is stressful but having them as our venue eliminated so much of our anxiety. We knew we were in good hands, and they all went above and beyond to insure our wedding was truly a night we will never forget!

We worked with Ralph for our wedding and from the minute we sat down with him to book our wedding venue we felt like family. Ralph went above and beyond for us and made sure that absolutely everything was perfect. When I say perfect, I mean that Ralph is a perfectionist and I am a perfectionist so I knew that I was in good hands by wanting everything done a certain way. All of our guests raved about the cocktail hour, the main course, the Venetian hour. We did not have one bad word said from our wedding about this venue. I could go on and on about how professional the El caribe is. I now understand why when we speak to couples who have been married for 30+ years that were married at the El Caribe the same words are always said “the food there is out of this world” “the service and food at the el caribe has never changed”. To be in business for so many years and to constantly have the same words spoken about over and over just proves how terrific they are. This venue is a timeless gem along with the staff. Our maître d, Matt, was there for our every need throughout the night as well as Allie, my bridal attendant. I cannot wait to have another event at the el caribe. Larry and I cannot thank you enough for making our wedding so memorable for us and our guests.

inter Wonderland Wedding. The decorations outside and in the lobby alone will take your breath away. We had family and friends come from Boston, Seattle, Florida, Ohio, Oregon, Rockland County, Pennsylvania and so much more. They said it was completely worth it and they would do it all over again. They keep raving about the food and service. The overall experience will leave you speechless. There is no other way to describe it. The food is so amazing that our guests were asking if they could keep ordering. They already told us we have to have our Christenings there for our children. Our friends in our bridal party said they will be booking their wedding there and they would never choose another venue. The attention and service the staff gives is top-notch! They do not leave your side for a second and there is nothing they won't do. Ralph, Sal, Maureen and Jason are the best! My wedding was the best night of my life and I know I would not be saying that if we had chosen another venue.

Maureen from El Caribe was fantastic at helping us plan the perfect day. Everyone cannot stop raving about the customer service and the amount and delicious quality of food and drink. Everyone from the maitre d', bridal attendant and doorman helped to make the day spectacular, full of love, and seamless. I never had to worry about venue or ceremony or our other vendors because I trusted El Caribe to run the show and they exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a venue that you can trust and you want high quality in all aspects of your wedding planning experience and on your actual wedding day. They offer a variety of spaces, including the piazza (their outdoor ceremony space). El Caribe, thank you for a beautiful day that my guests and I will never forget!

a Saturday so I thought let me do shopping and I’ll come back when I get a feel of other venues. On Friday I called back and asked to speak to a coordinator and got told they were all busy I would get a call back- that’s fine. I waited 2 hours and called back again and was informed they were all still bus, with a nasty attitude given by the receptionist. A coordinator named Phil Called me back at 8:21 pm, however I was away from my phone... I called back 5 minutes later and I was informed he left already... okay that’s fine. I call again the next day I was given the run around once again! The icing on the cake was when I finally spoke with Phil (who seemed like he didn’t want to be bothered), and when I asked for the starting price of a Friday he told me $200!!! Can someone please explain to me how a Friday starting price is more than a saturday? Also when I wanted to set up an appointment he told me no that I have to wait to make an appointment that I should call back in one week. Clearly this facility thinks they do not need my business or they just simply do not care about future customers. I am truly upset since I have heard their cocktail hour is very fabulous. I wish they would have treated me better.

d guest count to give us our perfect night. The food was phenomenal and never ending. Our guests have not stopped raving about everything! A couple of things were hazy for us. It was never clear who our Maitre d was. The few email inquiries I sent went unanswered. Phone calls were never returned. I was promised that our event would be the only event of the night, but there was another event going on at the same time. Our wedding favors were supposed to be put on the tables prior to the start of the wedding, but they weren't distributed until 11:30PM. A lot of guests had gone home by then, which resulted in other guests taking extras. Overall, I'm still very happy with our choice and can easily overlook the little things. Thank you for giving us an amazing night.

before we got married and everyone at the El Caribe made us feel so relaxed, they truly are on their A game. The day of our wedding was wonderful and all I ever dreamed of. Terrance was our Maitre 'D and he was unbelievable. He fixed my dress for me about 4 times the night of our wedding and catered to my husband and I. He showed us our cocktail hour and reception room before our guests had arrived which I loved. He took care of everything for us and we are so happy we had him as our Maitre 'D. We also had our own waitress for the night and she was wonderful as well. The food was AMAZING from start to finish. All of our guests had such a great time. We are so so happy we picked the El Caribe for our special day.

Everything we asked for, they delivered. The food was incredible! The ambiance was warm & inviting. My guests have been raving since! I would recommend this venue over & over again. Terrence catered to all our needs on our special day, their staff couldn't have been better or more professional, they followed us around and kept our glasses filled and our plates full of delicious food. to make an appointment on several occasions and I was promised a return phone call . After literally 7 attempts to make an appointment, and no returned phone call, my fiancee and I decided to just show up at the place. When we arrived we were greeted by a female who looked at us as though we shouldn't be there. After a short wait the banquet manager stepped out and told us to follow him. The first question he asked us was how much we were willing to spend. I told him we wanted to save on one of the off season months. Instead of just telling us the prices per person and fees etc. He still asked us the exact price we wanted to pay per person. After telling him, he seemed to make up a price from the top of his head that was 20-30 dollars more than what we said we could pay. Then he walked us to one room and said the event would be 4 hours and everything would be happening in the same room that was the extent of our tour. That was by far the worse experience I had so far.

The staff was so nice, the bartenders made sure we never had an empty glass in our hands and I even had some issues with my dress and team at el caribe was able to help me fix it without me freaking out. The food was out of this world which both my husband and I knew and was a big reason why we picked el caribe in the first place, but the service we were given on our wedding day put the night over the top. The reception was beautiful and everything was perfect. They even had a hot dog and pretzel stand outside when you waited for your car. I'd recommend El Caribe to anyone having a wedding. My husband and my experience was unforgettable.

With El Caribe, you get everything! My guests got to choose between 7 different entrees. And the food was delicious! My guests are still raving about how good everything was. Ralph and Terrance were so friendly during the whole process and they knew exactly what to do to make sure everything was perfect for us. On the day of the wedding, the staff was so attentive not only to me and my husband, but to all of our guests, making everyone feel special and important. At the end of the night, they packed us some of the desserts from the venetian hour and our entrees since we didn't get a chance to finish our meals. My husband and I can't wait for someone else we know to have a party there!

Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Terrence was so accomodating and easy to contact, he was there every single time I had a mini panic attack and had 100 questions to ask him about silly things. Every time i told someone that my wedding was at El Caribe all they did was rant and rave about how amazing the food was. After our tasting, I knew this was true. The day of our weddding was absolutely phenomenal. George was our Captain and he was probably the sweetest, amazing person to have guiding us through the day. We got married on a very busy holiday weekend but Terrence, George, George, and Carla made us feel like we were the only ones there. The bridal suite attendant, Carla, stood by my side through the whole day, and she literally had a grip on everything that was going on from keeping my drink filled to bustling my gown in 5 minutes flat, to literally hemming my maid of honor's gown because she had a wardrobe malfunction. The food of course was impeccable, and the service was even better than that. There aren't enough good things to say!!! Thank you for making our day so special, it was our very own fairytale!!!!

each time. On May 3, we celebrated the best day of our lives, and El Caribe played a huge role in making it the perfect wedding day. The catering hall itself is gorgeous, modern and elegant. Our bridal suite was clean, spacious, and had a nice assortment of appetizers when we arrived. The food was, as usual, OUTSTANDING: the tremendous variety and volume that was in the cocktail hour (most of our friends thought that was the whole dinner for the evening!!) and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great, and it was a pleasure to work with Phil and his staff. It's been a month, and our friends are still raving that it was the best wedding they've been to, and the best food they've had at a wedding! The Viennese Hour was unbelievable: tremendous and full of all the best sweets! They passed out hot bagels, and had a hot dog stand as people left at the end of the night! They even created a signature drink for us!! They really thought of everything!! Our day wouldn't have been as special anywhere else--thanks Phil!!! -Juliette

difficult for me to put into words how I feel about the night, but I will try. Every little vision I had came to life. Terrence at the El Caribe made that happen. From ice sculptures, to signature drinks, color patterns... you name it, I GOT IT with no questions asked! Every time I walked into the venue, whether it be to scope out other vendors at a bridal expo, make a payment or just ask a question, I was greeted with a big smile and a genuine hug. The night of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Literally, not a thing. I didn't lift not one finger! At one point in the night I asked if anyone in my bridal party had any perfume because mine had faded and I didn't bring any. Within ONE minute, Alan, my Bridal Suite hero, was back with a bottle of just about the most beautiful scented perfume I could ask for. Seriously? A God-send! My dress was bustled for me by Terrence; they even put a tablecloth over my dress in the (GORGEOUS) bridal suite so I wouldn't ruin my gown. Our signature drink (Butterbeer- huge Potter fan) was beyond words. I'll never forget the day I asked about a signature drink. Sitting in the office, I said "So... could we do a signature drink?" Terrence said "Sure, what were you thinking?" I replied with "Butterbeer! (any harry potter fan knows what that is). I expected a laugh but the next thing I saw was unbelievable. Terrence was typing away (looking for a cocktail recipe) and responded with "Absolutely. I love it." Literally anything we wanted, was possible. I wish I was able to post photos on here, because it was absolutely amazing. My favorite part of the night, was when Terrence took us in for the First Look at our rooms. Well, the doors opened to the cocktail hour room and it was instant tears. GOREGOUS. Staff was lined up like soldiers at their stations, it was candle lit, and the food was abundant. And that was JUST COCKTAIL HOUR! The Ballroom was just beyond words. It was a fairytale. Our sweetheart table was illuminated and fit for a King and Queen. Exactly how they treat you. ...The cocktail hour was WAY BEYOND anything I've ever seen. Its almost one month later and our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was, and how absolutely delicious the food was! From the fresh mozzarella being made right in front of us, to the filet mignon dinner that you could cut with a FORK! And the Venetian Hour- it was like the fourth of July met Willy Wonka's factory and ended with a night at the ballpark- HOT DOG and PRETZEL carts outside for guests to grab a bite on their way out! I mean, come on. Not in my wildest dreams did I ever picture an event so perfect. I'm still speechless. I will be recommending El Caribe to every single person I know- I cant wait to get back! The service- you just can't compare. Everyone/thing was impeccable. Absolutely beyond words. THANK YOU Terrence and every single person at the El Caribe for the most unforgettable experience I, my husband, and every single one of our guests had. We are still getting phone calls about how our wedding will never be topped, and was the best and most beautiful that my 92 year old Grandma has ever witnessed (and trust me, its many). A Million stars!

d the steak and the bronzino! The wait staff is very professional, and made sure that all of our guests had a great experience, from food, to drinks to everything in between. The atmosphere is great, and they recently added an outdoor garden in front of the resturant. If i could give El Caribe more stars I would, they were just that good!!! Oh and also ask to have Joe as your Metro-D, he is fantabulous! I also recommend Terrance, either one of them are phenomenal!!

Our wedding was even on the night of the Nemo Blizzard and to us the evening truly was magical and we can't thank them enough for such an amazing wedding!! Thank you El Caribe you all are AMAZING!!!! Everything from start to finish was WONDERFUL...their reviews are ALL positive and accurate. The food is just amazing. My cocktail hour had ice sculptures and fruit sculptures and 50 different types of foods that were all incredible. We had a venetian hour that I have no words for- the amount of food was never ending. If you really really want a night to remember, this is the place to book. I wouldn't change a thing about our day and our guests had the time of their lives.

it comes to food: there has to be a lot of it and it has to be delicious... this place met everyone's needs and they customized the menu and service to fit our culture. Not only do they provide the best menu I have ever tasted, but the presentation is fantastic. Plus the place is gorgeous. My guests were so impressed that they've been raving about it for weeks. The service is phenomenal!! I highly highly recommend this place. They can truly make all your wedding dreams come true!!!
