I didn’t use the venue for a wedding but for a huge retirement party, the size of a reception. I was extremely happy with the location. The service was great, the food was delicious and the venue beautiful. Catherine Chacon was a great coordinator. Very friendly and knowledgeable of event planning ideas and layouts. Thank you was a beautiful memorable retirement. Everyone had a wonderful time!

I'm so glad we went with this venue! Catherine, our event coordinator, was on top of everything! The venue is beautiful and spacious. I was able to have the whimsical wedding of my dreams because of this venue. Plus, riding around in a golf cart is always a plus!

Had our dream wedding here and it was in our budget! Catherine was very helpful and understanding. Our bartender was also over the top in the customer service department. Id highly recommend them for your event.

We just got married here and it was amazing. Great location, beautiful inside area, outside area for the bar, plenty of parking, beautiful view of the golf course. Catherine Chacon, the manager, is amazing, excellent support and communication, and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work along with you every step to explain the wedding planning process. We got so many wonderful comments from guests about how beautiful the event space was and the service, thank you again for the wonderful experience!

We absolutely loved having our baby boy to-come's baby shower at El Dorado Park Golf Course. The staff was very attentive and quick with what we needed. The event space itself was spacious and bright. My favorite was the bar service where Christian entertained and made us some delicious sangria. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Catherine is great to talk to and very supportive throughout the whole process.

My husband and I held a babyshower for our baby boy due in February here and we had the best time! The Event Manager, Catherine, helped us with everything so we were able to just enjoy our event. Everyone was so friendly and the venue was beautifully decorated I couldn't have asked asked a better day. I cant wait until I have another event that I need to have there again!! I highly recommend contacting Catherine for any event at El Dorado.

One word that vest describes my experience at el dorado is: effortless. Last month I had the opportunity to attend a baby shower for my friends and everything was super easy from beginning to end and I was really able to enjoy my time celebrating. The staff was courteous and attentive, buffet style food table was great and I can’t say enough about the new beautiful tent this facility has!! Not to mention, the tent makes it covid friendly and is a great choice for any party! Also Catherine the event manager was the absolute sweetest and made sure every detail was accounted for. 10/10 recommend!

I love El Dorado Park! I always enjoy their restaurant, good food and service. I attended a Baby Shower and what a big surprise! It was handled professionally by Catherine Chacon. From the arrangement of the buffet, setting up tables and chairs, bar, music and decor. Her attendants were spot on clearing up any annoying pieces to our eyes. ie; empty plates, cups, napkins etc. etc.. A Thank you to the Bartender! we never run out of drinks and was so attentive and polite! Catherine, A Job Well Done! We will definitely be back to host parties at El Dorado! ❤️

Laura and Catherine were awesome in helping my husband and I plan our wedding. El Dorado Golf course is an amazing facility. The food, service and atmosphere was everything we dreamed of. The pricing fit my budget.

The venue at El Dorado Park was prepared and decorated the way we were expecting it to be and beyond. Catherine was really hands on and she was there making sure everything was in order. She was even doing some housekeeping herself and was all over the place making sure they give us quality and superb service. Kudos to her dedication and passion for what she does. I was a guest at a Ron and Jessica's baby shower on 11/28/21 and let me tell you how beautiful and nice it was! This is not the first time I've been a guest at El Dorado as I was there attending a wedding back in February 2020. Both times I was there, the staff was on point and very attentive. The wedding event manager Catherine was making sure the event was going smoothly and that the guests were taking cared of. If I were to have a event in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to book with Catherine. Seeing how the staff works, I know we would be in good hands to have our future event at El Dorado.

The event team here is amazing. Working with Laura during our initial consultation and Catherine during the remainder of planning process really made this venue a dream. Catherine was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. She was able to help throughout the process. The venue worked with us during the pandemic and rescheduling our date. Overall I am very pleased with their staff. It's a great venue if you're looking for something affordable. Only 4/5 stars because of some minor details, but it is definitely a solid option and my wedding was so fun. Catherine is 5/5 all the way, thank you!

This was the perfect venue for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding and rehearsal dinner. The ceremony and reception areas looked beautiful. Catherine was wonderful to work with and all of the staff were courteous, efficient and provided great service. The food was exceptional as well. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

The main thing that drew me to El Dorado was their private office staff and the experience that they offer. We just had our wedding here and everything was so smooth and beautiful. It was easy and convenient to have our ceremony/reception all at one location and the guests all loved how gorgeous the venue was. The bistro lighting on both the front and back patios made for a great cocktail hour area and photo booth location. We have highly recommended this venue to all of our friends and family. Not to mention, Laura and Catherine are so helpful. My husband and I are so grateful for all the memories!

While touring locations for my wedding I was so excited to find El Dorado. The venue is gorgeous on its own but I got to see the hard work the team put in to transforming it into the couples dream. The coordinators were awesome and helped us feel calm and confident as we went through the tour not only in being able to achieve the dream wedding we always wanted but to be able to do it in a budget that wouldn’t break the bank! My husband and I recommend El Dorado Park Golf Course because their tent was beautiful! We loved how everything turned out, and it was a huge plus having the draping already included. This is where I had the reception for my wedding, and I couldn't be happier! The outdoor tent they had fit perfectly into my budget and their staff was wonderful! Very professional and friendly. They answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. On the day of, everything went smoothly so I didn't have to worry about anything at all!

Picking this venue was one of the best decisions of the wedding. The venue is gorgeous and the staff will work with you on all of your ideas and budget. When we arrived for the reception, everything was set up perfectly and was so beautiful. They make your wedding planning as stress free as possible! We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception. From our initial inquiry until the reception ended, our experience with Laura, Kelsy (who has since moved on to another venue), and the rest of the El Dorado Park Golf Course staff was very smooth and low stress. El Dorado offers very affordable packages even with a large number of guests. The location is easily accessible from major freeways and is near Long Beach Airport for guests flying in from out of town. The reception venue itself is a spacious, well-kept tent. The weather was nice enough that the tent walls were rolled up, which really made the space feel larger. Also, in May, the sun is still shining in the evening which made for great natural lighting for photos from introductions, first dance, speeches, and through the end of dinner. In the planning stages, the office staff's communication was top notch. Every question, whether via email or phone call was answered promptly. And we were given courtesy reminders of any waivers or payments that were due so that nothing slipped through the cracks throughout the whole process. Thank you El Dorado Park Golf Course staff! We are recommending this venue to our friends and family for their events as well.

Had 2 retirement parties here. One was in the evening, started at 5pm. Total of 120 people. The food was awesome and site was beautiful, had it on June 9th. The next retirement party we had a breakfast brunch for 40 people. Also site was beautiful, service great, and food was good👍. We also had our nurse award night here for 70 people on May 29th. Again food and site was awesome. We also had our union dinner/awards night for 160 people. Everything was perfect. Would go back again to this venue.

Incredible lifetime memories were created at the El Dorado for my wife and I. The staff (Kelsey and Laura) were very professional from the beginning! Clear and precise information was provided so there was no confusion throughout the process of utilizing the venue and they were able to accommodate all our needs! The wedding day couldn't have been better, from the weather, to the beautiful decor/setup, we were super thrilled that we decided to announce our lifetime union here!

The beautiful El Dorado was the perfect place to host my daughter's wedding reception. Laura was wonderful to work with and allowed us to take full creative reign and make our vision a reality. The venue transformed beautifully. I am so grateful to Laura for being patient with us because, in our effort to make our vision a reality, there were many questions and many changes. We decided to host a buffet style reception and chose the tacos and added a mac and cheese bar that was amazing. Our guests were so impressed that wedding food could be so good.

The El Dorado Park Golf Course was more than we could have asked for! Beautiful venue, amazing staff, yummy food!!! Our event coordinator Laura was a great go to person for any questions or concerns, she was very easy going and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process and the day of the event. My dad had his wedding ceremony and reception here in August. The venue was beautiful, the staff was attentive and professional, the food was great! Laura was super helpful with everything. I definitely recommend this venue for any event.

Having our wedding at El Dorado was such an easy decision! We kept comparing every venue to them and no one could match up. Laura and Morgan were so great to work with; so knowledgeable! I had so many questions along the way and they were so helpful and accommodating. Having the linens, food, AND CAKE included into a package was so amazing and took stress off us during planning. Torrance bakery was amazing! Such an amazing venue, you can’t go wrong!

Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want. Morgan and Laura are so accommodating and they really want your dream wedding to come true. So glad to have had our wedding with El Dorado Park.

We loved getting married here! They made it so easy! The pasta bar was amazing and all of our family could not stop raving about it (and our families are foodies!)! Laura and Morgan were a blessing to work with! Also the fact that linens and the cake were included was so nice (Great Dane Bakery was AMAZING and our cake was the talk of the night!) If you are looking for an affordable, blank canvas and 'easy' option (as in built in food, alcohol, cake, linens) this is the place for you!

El Dorado Park Golf Coarse is a great venue for a wedding. I wanted an outdoor ceremony with the reception at the same site and they offer just that! The site is beautiful and looks really nice in photos too. Morgan and Laura were incredibly helpful and sweet. Both are very knowledgeable and offered great suggestions and ideas. The packages they offer include so many of the things you need such as food, drinks, cake, tables, chairs, linens and so much more. The price is a steal when you consider everything that is included. I would definitely recommend this venue!

This is an awesome venue. Morgan and Laura were so helpful in planning everything, accommodating us and answering our countless questions. The ceremony space was beautiful and the reception very functional and fun. They recommended many vendors, which all worked out so well. Great please for your wedding and a great price point!

Getting married can be overwhelming with all the wedding planning that it entails. We totally came full circle when it came to picking a venue. The location, price and customer service was perfect. Morgan does a great job at listening to you and helping you through the process. The El Dorado Golf Course offers awesome packages that makes the planning that much smoother. We were engaged in March 2016 and married September 2016. So, crunch time was serious and finding a venue that provided everything in a package at a reasonable price is exactly what any bride-to-be is looking for. I also used some of their vendors for flowers and a last minute photo booth and they were just as great! I would recommend El Dorado Park Golf Course to everyone! El Dorado is a lovely venue and fairly priced. You get a lot of stuff included, and the staff are awesome. Morgan is very easy to work with.

I had a 100th Birthday Party for my mom, it was everything I expected. It was a beautiful day, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, they were wonderful. The food was great, Morgan was a delight to work with, I would recommend this Venue to anyone. Just a side note, my daughter was also married and had the reception in the Big White tent, it was one of the most wonderful days of our lives, and that was 15 years ago. Again the pricing and staff were wonderful then too. Food was great

The venue and service here are amazing, particularly considering how reasonably priced everything turned out to be. We had a wedding for 160 people and were worried that if we tried to save too much money on the wedding, we'd make something both my wife and I wouldn't like. However, Morgan was extremely helpful throughout the process, and gave us several options in terms of what we would want them to provide or what we were allowed to provide for ourselves. She helped us break down costs and always had quick responses to any email questions. Having compared their rates with about 25 other venues, I couldn't have found more competative pricing for what they offer. I really like how customizable their packages are as well. Also, we had a reception in the tent in mid-November, and fear not, they were able to keep it warm. The staff is quick to respond and accomdate whatever is needed. They also can help you with vendors they're partnered with for things like linens and flowers. We had Diane from Pastels Designs do our flowers, and everyone loved them. On the whole, we received dozens of compliments that properly belong to El Dorado Park Golf Course. They made the place both affordable and beautiful, and we're so happy they accomodated us so well.

The event staff El Dorado made helped to make our wedding dreams a reality. From the very first meeting to the day of, Morgan worked with us and was extremely accommodating and informative in the process. She along with her staff responded quickly and extremely professionally to any questions or concerns my husband and I had and adapted to even last minute changes that came about during our rehearsal dinner. Everything at our wedding was beautiful and exactly how I pictured! We received so many compliments on everything about the venue; from the food, to the set up to the professionalism of the staff. Morgan and the El Dorado staff went about and beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. The day of the wedding, while most brides stress about being in control or worry if the venue will be set up correctly, I was able to sit back with my bridesmaids and enjoy my wedding day because I knew the staff had everything running smoothly and followed a layout/time Schedule we had created weeks before hand. El Dorado is definitely not only a reasonable place for a wedding, but also a beautiful place as well. My husband and I were 1000% happy with the outcome of our special day and would do it again at El Dorado if we could! Best wedding venue ever!!

From the moment I met Morgan and saw this location we just knew we would get married at Eldorado! Morgan is incredible! She just made everything so stress free and made everything perfect! She really turned our dream into a reality! Not to mention she knows people in the industry, and turned us on to reasonable vendors. The food was incredible my guests are still talking about it, and the staff was so responsive and friendly. I'm just so in awe of this Venue and its team! Morgan your definitely rare in this industry because we met about 10 venues and we chose the place not just for its beauty, but for the great customer service!

El Dorado hosted our daughter’s wedding in July, 2015. Morgan and her staff were a joy to work with and offered outstanding professionalism through out the whole process. El Dorado offers a wide range of wedding packages – with many options available in each package. We were able to pick the perfect package, along with some add-ons, exceeding our expectations given our budget. Morgan put us in touch with her preferred vendors who gave us exceptional service at a very fair price. We would especially recommend Diane - her beautiful bouquets and table arrangements were perfectly executed – she was wonderful to work with. The venue was perfectly set up and the service was excellent – altogether an exceptional day made possible by an experienced and efficient staff whose goal was to make the reception as perfect as possible.

If your looking to hold your wedding outdoors, El Dorado Golf course is the place to book! Such a great beautiful venue. We did both our ceremony and reception here. The staff was great, the food was great, and the coordinator Morgan was amazing. She def went out the way to help and accommodate us. We had our wedding early in July, so the weather was perfect. There are also great spots in the area to take pictures with your photographer.

The El Dorado location was great overall as the 1-stop location for our ceremony, reception and after-party. Highlights were the spaciousness of the grounds & tented pavilion, quality of the food, friendliness of the servers and bartender. We chose the platinum package and added a few extras and it was plenty for all our guests. A few little things bothered us. 1) The venue manager left our site preparation about 1.5 hours before ceremony to provide a walk-through for another couple. I found this to be very bad timing as things needed her direction to get done. 2) Neither the manager or assistant manager stayed for the entire rental, and we did not have a point of contact for half the reception and after-party. 3) The venue coordinated chevalier chairs were two short (for the sweetheart table) so we had to cover odd chairs to fake a match. 4) Since the restrooms are also used by the golfers, they were a mess, particularly the men's room. Venue should know to have that prepped in advance with periodic check-in's by custodial to keep them acceptable for the use of wedding guests in fine attire. These are minor points. The Bride/Groom and all guests had a great time and the recommendation to use this venue is honestly positive.

We had our wedding here in July and we were so glad we went with this venue! Our main objective was to have as stress-free a day as possible. Mission accomplished! Morgan, the event manager, was helpful and supportive every step of the way. She has a very laid-back personality, but she knows her stuff and is ready to work with you to make your day perfect. We planned our entire wedding in just a few months and Morgan was always available to answer my questions. The venue itself is lovely for a summer wedding. We had our ceremony onsite and the reception in the tent. It's a great way to have the best of the indoors and the outdoors. The tent looks adorable on its own (think "garden party"), so we didn't do much by way of decorating. Honestly, it was the fairy lights strung throughout the tent that sold me on the venue. We just brought some simple centerpieces and a few items for the guestbook table and gift table. Again, this venue is totally willing to work with you for the look you want. We wanted simple and we got the simplicity we wanted. I never felt like I was being sold anything. It was super low pressure, which is nice after shopping around and having a different experience at other venues. The value of this venue was spectacular. We came in under budget and our wedding turned out prettier than I had expected. More importantly, our guests had a great time. There was room to move around and mingle. We had lots of kids at the wedding and it was great for them to be able to move around, rather than being stuck in a ballroom. All in all it was beautiful and we would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to enjoy their wedding planning rather than stressing. Helpful hint: When they have a wedding/bridal fair going on...GO TO IT! It's a nice place to meet some of the vendors that work witht the venue and it's much lower pressure than the giant bridal fairs. Most importantly, after attending, we received some awesome incentives for booking our wedding there

This place is amazing and Morgan is a sweetheart. She was always accessible when I needed her, the staff was very professional. My guest raved about how beautiful the venue is. My wedding was a success because of Morgan, Ashley and the staff and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

I would definitely recommend this facility for a special event! I contacted Morgan a month in advance for my Graduation Social (party) and was able to reserve the restaurant for my Social right away! Morgan really accommodated my mom and I swiftly answering all our questions and concerns. I was so pleased with how she went about assisting us as this was a memorable accomplishment in my life. On the day of the event, everything turned out perfectly!! The staff delivered exceptional customer service and were very kind to the guests and those who decorated the restaurant for the night. As far as the food I can't give the best feedback because I wasn't able to eat like I wanted but all the guest were raving about the selection of food available and enjoyed it. I was worried about how the lighting in the room would turn out but the decorations brightened the place up and made it look like a totally different place. Overall I am absolutely pleased with El Dorado Park Golf Course and appreciate that they had availability at the last minute because everything turned exactly like it should! :)

I had my reception in the El Dorado Golf Course Garden pavilion. This place is simple, elegant, peaceful and exactly what I was looking for. My family and husband's family, relatives and friends truly enjoyed having the reception there. The reception was perfect! The food and drinks were amazing and we got so many compliments by several of our guests on how delicious the food was. The service was also very good. Wedding was on 8/30 and a very hot day, actually we were going through a heat wave, and the servers took care of maintaining enough water all the time. I want to give a special shout out to Morgan who helped us get everything ready for the reception. She was patient, professional and extremely helpful. Thank you so much Morgan for all your help! The price was also very reasonable for the absolutely beautiful view of the golf course, the open space was perfect. We also enjoyed the tasting we received a few weeks prior to the wedding. The only reason why unfortunately I will not give a five-star review for my wedding is because of the restrooms, they really need someone to give them a face lift. They also pretty messing, There was no staff to keep up with the trash. And every time I would go in there was paper towels overflowing the trash. No toilet paper in some. However, Morgan did a great job putting all of our requests together right before the wedding and making sure everything went as planned on our big day.

The staff at El Dorado was SUPER AWESOME!!! Morgan was super nice and always available for any questions or suggestions. She had EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE++++ The wait staff was awesome! They catered to our every need! I was very impressed with my experience here. I have already recommended it to my friends searching for not just wedding venues, but a venue for any celebration. I love the venue.....my decor and colors all came together very nicely. The staff was great and helpful throughout the whole night. The food and drinks we're delicious plus the food was served hot to everyone, no one complained about having a cool plate served to them.

This location is absolutely beautiful for a wedding! The golf course is gorgeous and your pictures will come out great! The service was great and there was a plethora of food at the buffet, all of it was delicous! We had guests that were so impressed with the food that they keep telling us how good it was. The coordinator made sure that everything was taken care of and exactly how we wanted it. Our only complaint was that the coordinator seemed to disappear on the day of...we had a friend take care of our day of needs and we are not sure if the knowledge of her being there changed his appearance the day of or not. I would encourage brides to have a day of go to person regardless. When looking for venues we searched around and comparatively speaking, El Dorado Golf Course gives you far more for your money than any of the other places we looked at! Even the ones that were owned by the same company (which at the time was Chora Events) although I think that has changed now. Still, I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding! I loved everything about our location and there is such a peace about the golf course. Every single time I walked on into the property I felt the calm that comes with being in a beautiful location.

It was elegant, but simple

affordable great sell with pics of prior weddings and general set-up options as well as 'talk-up' by the venue coordinator Candace. The servers were great the food was excellent and everyone seemed to have a great time.;I triple checked details in advance and was assured they would be handled correctly yet experienced problems the day of and had to basically live through them. This includes the venue using metal folding chairs rather than the wood folding chairs (for ceremony). Change of facility interior (deco/ambiance). Change of reception room set-up. Having golfers cross over as well as practice in areas I was assured they would not have access to (even day of; I asked Candace about making sure they could not be in certain areas and she promised they wouldn't be; on the day of there are multiple golfers in my pictures). Last but not least there was a crew of about 10 guys chopping down trees using a wood chipper at the front entrance of the venue; the noise could be heard all through the ceremony. I asked Candace to correct prior to walking out for the ceremony and her only response was 'she didn't know they would be there'; she did nothing to stop the noise.
