I can't really say enough about how great it was. My dad still goes on and on about how much he loved working with the staff. The service was amazing, which keeps true with El Gaucho's reputation. Just eat at one of their restaurants and get a taste of how amazing the food is and how special you feel. The experience is the same when you have your wedding there. Our event point person, Carly, was so wonderful and so easy to work with on every detail. She helped us get a sign made, plan out the seating chart, map out the tent and table set-up, taste drinks to find our signature drink, etc. She was so reliable & responsive. I trusted that things would work out, and they did. Every staff member at Aqua will make your day special. They even have a shuttle who will take your guests home. We had a big tent set up outside for 120 people, but if you had a smaller wedding, you wouldn't need that and could keep things a little simpler. I'd also recommend Aqua for a rehearsal dinner or smaller event too. I'm sure they could pull off anything.
And above all, what Aqua has that's amazing beyond words is the simple background of Seattle -- the Sound, the Olympics at sunset, Mt Rainier, SAM sculpture park, and the Space Needle. I don't think anywhere else in Seattle can say this. I can still picture our wedding night, and it was more than I'd ever dreamed of. We go back to Aqua from time to time just b/c we love it so much--the view, the food, the service. Again, you always feel special there, and that's something uncommon and difficult to attain.

hanged about the night. In addition, every single staff member we dealt with was beyond amazing, caring and gracious. Carly, the private dining coordinator was fabulous, with great communication and an ease that made collaboration easy and fun. She made sure that the North Bay dining room was set up perfectly.....it was so beautiful! On the night of our wedding, we had 2 amazing waiters, Kevin and Matt. They simply did not miss a step the entire evening! Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) was SPOT ON! They were funny, attentive and kind. Every guest had drinks promptly and they were always checking in with guests to see if they needed anything. They took everyone's ordered and delivered food that was cooked to perfection. Everyone loved the food. It was so fresh tasting and prepared perfectly. Every steak was delivered to the correct person exactly how they had asked for it cooked! (A big shout out for the chefs too!) As I had told all of the Aqua staff in a thank you letter, that while our event was small, it will be one of the most important events of my husband and my life, and the staff truly made it their personal mission to make sure that the evening was perfect! The evening exceeded our expectations! Thank you Aqua for a night we will never forget!
