Operating out of a hot-pink food truck, it provides casual dining experiences with perfectly blended spices and a fun, zesty style. Whether you want to treat your guests to delicious snacks during cocktail hour or you're hosting a laid-back outdoor reception, El Grillito will provide fresh, handmade dishes crafted to delight the senses.
Owner Juan Carlos was inspired to start his business after being laid off from his job during the pandemic. Having spent over 18 years working with top restaurateurs, he felt equipped to begin his catering venture and provide delicious, street-style dining experiences to his clients. El Grillito, translating to 'little cricket', is named in honor of Juan Carlos' grandmother, who would take him to play cricket catching in the fields when he was a boy. His Abuela also taught him to cook, using family recipes passed down through generations.
The team at El Grillito proudly serves authentic Mexican cuisine, specializing in a range of perfectly seasoned dishes. Options include tacos with various delicious fillings, birra combos, quesadillas, tortas, burritos, and burrito bowls. Guests can opt for tasty tamales and sides like guacamole, arroz and frijoles, and freshly fried churros. A selection of non-alcoholic beverages is also available, including assorted Mexican sodas.

ke a tremendous load off our shoulders, as they worked directly with the venue to figure out logistics. Pam and JC were responsive, enthusiastic, and above all professional throughout the entire process. Doing a DIY wedding is stressful, to say the least, and we can't imagine what the final day would have looked like if we didn't have Pam and JC shoring us up. And of course the food was terrific. While my wife and I were not able to savor it properly (nerves), we had countless guests inform us during and after the wedding about how good the food was. We still run into guests who fondly recall the spread that day. If we had to do it all over again, we would not change a thing.
It’s hard to know how good the food is going to be with a phone call. You’ve got to put a lot of trust in your decision. Let me back you up.

We got married almost 2 years ago, and we still have guests who are raving about the food. To quote my friend Josh "I had the best quesadilla of my life." And he still stands by that. I highly recommend El Grillito for any event, production set or wedding. They do not disappoint.
