DJ Manny clearly has a lot of experience with being a DJ at weddings, but because of this he can be a little set in his ways. If he is suggesting something you don't want, just be assertive. He'll meet you halfway. We met ahead of time at a Burger King, so it was nice to make sure we were on the same page about everything, though the smell of fries were a bit much for a dieting bride! I went over the pronunciation of everyone's names, as he would also be the MC, and talked about the different songs we would like used for first dances/bouquet toss/so on. DJ Manny told me he got into a car accident the day of the wedding, but luckily he still made it. I am extremely thankful for this because a wedding without a DJ would have been a tough situation. I appreciate his dedication to our special day. Despite a few mispronounced names, everything went very smoothly. Most importantly, he kept the party going and that's all I can ask for.
