We had the pleasure of working with Elaine on our first dance choreography, and we cannot emphasize enough how great of an experience it was!! She was welcoming, patient, and so helpful. My fiancé and I have never “formally” danced a day in our lives and Elaine made us feel so confident going into our wedding. We did a total of 5 lessons and are sad they’re over, it was a fun date activity. Highly recommend Elaine for her professionalism, creativity, and genuine kindness. Especially for lgbtq+ folks!
If you get the opportunity to work with Elaine for your wedding dance—do it! We are two very uncoordinated people with no dance experience at all. We wanted to have some sort of guidance for our dance since we chose a niche song with fast and slow parts. Elaine went above and beyond for us and choreographed our whole dance with us and worked with us to ensure we were comfortable with the moves. We only did 3 lessons but they were so helpful and it went so well on the actual day! We are so thankful for her patience and for helping us have fun with something that was initially stressful. Thank you Elaine!
Elaine is so kind and makes uncoordinated people look coordinated! We learned our whole dance in three lessons. She video recorded progress (on our phone) each lesson so we could practice in between.

My fiancé and I had an excellent experience working with Elaine. We contacted her with a somewhat unique song choice, connected over a brief Zoom call to discuss her approach and offerings, and immediately appreciated her professionalism, experience, and enthusiasm. Over 5 lessons, Elaine choreographed and taught us a fun and energetic 3-minute dance that we loved -- and, that was a hit at our wedding. Elaine was very accommodating of our schedules and availability, and actually held all 5 lessons at our house in our kitchen. She quickly got a sense of our style and experience level, and created a piece that challenged us to try new things, but still made us feel confident. Elaine was a pleasure to work with, welcomed our ideas and questions, and helped us create some amazing memories.

My fiancee and I took several private lessons with Elaine to prepare for the first dance at our wedding. Despite us (unintentionally) picking a tricky song, Elaine choreographed a beautiful Viennese Waltz that we fell in love with. Neither of us had any ballroom dance experience before, but Elaine did a great job adapting the routine to our relatively modest skill level. She explained all of the steps and moves clearly during the lessons and was able to provide increasingly detailed feedback as we improved. Most importantly, Elaine was extraordinarily friendly, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process. We could not have asked for a better teacher!

Elaine is amazing! My fiancé and I worked with her over the course of 3 dance lessons and for our upcoming wedding. She did a great job assessing our skill level, making us feel comfortable, and teaching us fun choreography that we cannot wait to show off to our wedding guests! In just 3 lessons we felt like we learned so much and are so excited for the big day thanks to Elaine!!

Elaine is the BEST! She made the process so easy and actually fun, especially for my husband who was not feeling super comfortable with the whole idea. She choreographed a beautiful dance (that was easier to execute than it looked), which really wowed our guests! She made us feel super comfortable and prepared so on our big day we weren't stressed at all and really got to enjoy the special moment together. You won't regret choosing Elaine!

You will not regret choosing Elaine to be your dance instructor! From the very first lesson, we were already getting into the groove of our first dance despite my inability to hear the beat. Elaine is a patient, detail-oriented and most importantly a FUN instructor. She made us feel comfortable, broke down the dance into digestible chunks and honed in on the parts we were struggling with. On our wedding day, it was flawless and we could not thank her enough for the effort she put in. We truly enjoyed our experience with Elaine and would highly recommend her services.

Elaine taught my husband and I our wedding dance and was absolutely amazing! As two people who have never taken dance lessons and usually have no business dancing in public, we were nervous but Elaine made us feel so comfortable and we were so excited with how our wedding dance came out! If you are looking for a dance instructor to help you with your first dance at your wedding… look no further! My husband and I wanted to not just “sway” for our first dance despite having zero dance experience. We were a bit intimidated to be taking dance lessons but Elaine really listens and makes the process so much fun and stress free! Elaine created a dance routine for us that was achievable and most importantly enjoyable to learn. Our guests were so impressed with our first dance, all thanks to Elaine! Can’t recommend her enough!

Hi! My name is Elaine. I'm a professional ballroom dancer with two decades of dancing experience. I love working with my couples to understand how they envision their first dance, which can range from sleek and simple to intricate and exciting.
Nothing thrills me more than dancing, whether it's on a competition floor in front of hundreds of people or in my kitchen alone.
I am also a personal trainer, so teaching people how to move efficiently and be in tune with their bodies is what I do best.
I hope I can use my experience in coaching and dancing to make your first dance incredible.
