ELC is a Providence, RI-based wedding officiating service that can help you design a one-of-a-kind ceremony for your special day. Emergent Life provides memory-building ceremonies and relationship-strengthening pre-martial counseling services. As an Interfaith minister, I can create a spiritual but nonreligious ceremony or a more down-to-earth ceremony. There are similar aspects of a wedding ceremony, like the welcome, the invocation, and the offering of vows and rings, but how you celebrate your love should feel very personal to you. If you choose my standard package, crafting your ceremony is part of what's offered. Whether you need help or suggestions with the language or have a doc with your vows already written out, we can personalize things so that it feels like your special day, not a cookie-cutter wedding. We'll meet to get an overview of what you are looking for, and in follow-up sessions, we will hone and define the ceremony. I'll be available to visit you onsite to further plan and strategize as needed and lead a rehearsal before the wedding if desired. I can also do an initial planning session and officiate for a basic wedding package at the ceremony. As a therapist and transformational coach, I can offer pre-marital counseling to help you step into this next phase of your life with a solid foundation of communication and connection. The counseling takes place over three one-hour sessions and covers communication, negotiating skills, and common relationship stumbling blocks.
