Our cake and cupcakes from Ele was not only gorgeous, but SO good. The whole tasting process was amazing, and the cake turned out exactly like we asked. We also got a variety of cupcakes for the guests, and there was none left after the reception, even after ordering many extras! They were delicious!

I taste tested two different cake places for my wedding and this one was better by far. Flavor and moistness were awesome! I only had a tiny bit at my wedding, but I was satisfied. When I called for a consultation I had sent a picture from their website, and said this is what I want. It was called the Bride to Be cake. Apparently the flowers on the cake in the picture were an additional price add-on. A few weeks before the wedding I realized they were the only vendor I hadn’t finalized with. I emailed the consultant but after not hearing back for a few days I called. My payment was past due. This seemed odd that they had not tried to contact me. I looked back at my original contract and no payment dates were noted. I paid over phone at that point and there was no late fee but still felt embarrassed. Cake was delivered day of wedding and looked beautiful.

We loved having Ele Cakes for our wedding! We did a small cake for my husband and I, and then we did cupcakes for the guests. The company was very helpful and easy to talk to. They were right on time with their drop off/set up and everything was exactly how we wanted it to be. We had lots of guests compliment the dessert and how delicious it was. Their prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend them!!

Went in for a consultation and after waiting for 45 minutes we found out that the consultant had left without preparing anything for us. We were told that someone would be in touch to reschedule and talk to us about what happened, but no one ever reached out to us. Very unprofessional and didn’t seem like they cared about our business. If that’s how they treat the consultation then I would hate to see how they treat the wedding

Cake was beautiful, yummy, and as advertised. The buttercream frosting was a hit. We went with the option of a two-tiered cake with two sheet cakes, which actually made the cost comparable with other cakes. Ele worked well with our venue to make the day of the wedding stress free with delivery. My only comment would be to make sure that you go to the tasting with your preferences in mind- I was in preliminary planning stages and felt overwhelmed when asked about what color base I wanted, how I wanted the cake decorated, flowers/no flowers, did we want a topper, etc back to back without feeling like I had room to breathe.

Ele Cake company provided a beautiful cake for our daughter's wedding. They delivered it a couple of hours prior to the event, and made sure our flowers and cake topper were added before displaying it beautifully. They made the process easy from the cake tasting to the wedding day. The cake was DELICIOUS! We have used them for many years and will continue to do so.

The consult was a blast, and our cake was delicious, but in the end they didn’t decorate it the way we ordered -left off the fondant monogram that was the focal point of the cake. They scrambled to pipe on a monogram at the last minute before guests arrived, but never refunded the cost of the monogram they forgot or did anything in attempts to “make it right.” Our cake was really delicious, but the professionalism and follow up after we paid was disappointing - e.g. questions about choosing a cake stand, arranging delivery, etc.

I was not overly impressed with this company. The cake tasted good, but working with Melanie at the West Carrollton location was always a challenge. She seemed to never know what was going on and was very condescending when I asked questions. I had a four layer wedding cake, and three of the layers were not designed correctly.

The cake was amazing and beautiful. However, leading up to my wedding they were extremely difficult to get a hold of, even just to pay my bill. It caused quite a bit of stress for me at the time, but in the end it turned out fine.

We had a fantastic cake that came out looking better than I could have imagined and tasted just as good. Our consultant at the tasting was very accommodating with the different ideas we had (ie. replacing a ribbon from the catalogue cake to a fondant strip so there were no inedible items), and helped us shape our perfect cake.

Ele Cakes was simply fantastic. My wife and I chose a small wedding cake for ourselves with cupcakes for our guests. At the tasting we knew this was the baker we wanted for our wedding. The cakes were all delicious and their pricing was very reasonable. It seems like adding the word “wedding” in front of cake increases the cost by 100%. This was not the case for Ele Cakes. They were responsive to emails and questions throughout the planning process and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them. In fact, it will now be my go-to spot for any type of cakes/cupcakes (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, etc.).

Ele Cake Company did a fantastic job on the cake and cupcakes. Everything tasted great and guests especially loved the filling in the cupcakes. They also did a nice job setting up the cake table. There was a problem with communication at the end because no one returned phone calls. Be sure to get an email address because I heard from someone else that they had no problem communicating through email. We highly recommend them even with the communication problem.

We used the west carollton store. There cake is very good. But there customer service is the worst I have ever seen. We ended up having a few issues a week before our wedding and they were less than accommodating to us. The wedding cake consultant was very rude and thought that her not giving us the correct information was my fault. We tried to contact the owners to file a complaint and we have yet to receive a call back. That was almost a month ago.

My fiancé and I had such a great time cake tasting today with Brittany! She was very helpful and we couldn't have asked for a better person to share this moment with! Ele Cake Company was amazing and had the best tasting cake!

Ele's cake was AMAZING! They made us a beautiful 3 layer ombre cake that had several different flavors. Our large layer was chocolate with raspberry filling, the second layer was strawberry cake with strawberry filling, and the top layer was white cake with white chocolate mousse filling. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was and how delicious the flavors were.

They did a beautiful job on our two tier baseball cake! We were so happy with how it turned out. The rustic look was perfect for our wedding. Like always, the cake itself was absolutely delicious... strawberry and lemon are the way to go!

Ordering our cake for the wedding was very easy and actually a lot of fun. I just had one consultation where my mother and I tasted the different cakes, which were all very delicious, especially the lemon cake. I also explained to the consultant that I wanted a small cake, simplistic, natural texture with a touch of cranberries and greenery. They did exactly that. The cake not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing. We chose a white cake with raspberry filling and almond icing. My husband and I finished off the top tier of the cake within days!

They are a little more on the pricy side but you get what you pay for! We also get a fresh one year anniversary tier free - which my husband and I are very much looking forward to as opposed to eating stale cake!

Ele has been our favorite cake company for a long time. We just had to use them for our wedding cake. The tasting was wonderful, and included about 10 flavors with different fillings and icings. Our consultant was extremely personable and helpful in helping us pick out the style of cake we wanted. They have tons of flavors to choose from. We chose a 3-tier cake with an additional sheet cake. It was not only beautiful, but also delicious! They coordinated the drop off and getting the cake topper very well. The price was pretty reasonable as well for the amount of cake we got. I would definitely recommend Ele to anyone!

Ele Cake Company did our wedding cake and my groom's cake. It was fantastic! We had 5 different layers and flavors. The caterer couldn't cut the cake fast enough! So delicious and we love that we don't have to mess with saving our cake. Ele takes care of making us a new top layer for our one year anniversary! Never disappoints!

We got our wedding cakes (yes we had two) from Ele Cake Company. A traditional tiered cake, and a football themed groom's cake that was amazing. The only mistake I noticed was OHIO was in the wrong direction in the end zones, but no one but me noticed. But MAN was this cake DELICIOUS. Ele never fails to deliver the most decadent cake you'll ever eat. I loved every bite!

Ele Cake Company was amazing in every aspect. Our cake tasting was easy and delicious. We were brought out a good amount of cake with different types of frosting. We also requested a special cake that they had ready for us. About a month before our wedding, I stopped in without an appointment to change our order and drop of my cake topper. The wedding cake department helped me right away and made everything very easy. They also took extra care of my cake topper, which was an antique and belonged to my grandparents. On the day of my wedding, the cake was delivered and set up perfectly with the cake topper. Our cake was absolutely delicious! We served left-over cake at our brunch the next morning, and guests couldn't get enough of it. Extra perks of working with Ele - They do a military discount, and they will make you a new cake for your one year anniversary for free.

The cake was soooo good!! As long as you go with a fairly basic design the cost is VERY reasonable. Also they attend several bridal shows in the area and hand out coupons for a free flavor upgrade allowing you to get a deluxe flavor for the basic price! The tasting process was amazing and they had so many beautiful designs. Also for our 1 year anniversary they make you a whole new first tier of you wedding cake so you don't have to worry about saving and freezing it like other cake companies. We got a smaller cake and it was PLENTY and also got their cookie and brownie tray which was delicious!!

We did the 3 basic flavors with just 2 different icings for the cupcakes and just a 6" round for our cake cutting. We took them 3 different sugar sprinkles to differentiate the flavors of cupcakes. Everything turned out awesome and we even get a replica of the 6" on our anniversary.

My sister got married about a year before me, and Elè did her cake. She got so many compliments on how great her cake looked and tasted, and we had such a good experience with them that for my own wedding I knew I wanted EleWe met with Jessica for our cake tasting, she is so sweet and helpful, and just great to work with. There are so many flavor/filling options, and they all taste amazing, it was so hard to decide which ones to go with! I had a last-minute change in venue, and I was terrified my vendors would show up at the wrong site, but Jessica was so awesome and even mailed me an updated contract that reflected the new place. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about place!

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, because my husband and I do not particularly like cake, we served a variety of cheesecakes to our guests. Our cheesecake was white chocolate cheesecake covered in whole strawberries. Ele went above and beyond to fulfill our unique requests and the cheesecakes were delicious!

My fiancee were not really focusing on an elaborate cake. We had actually purchased our standard size cupcakes before realizing that we probably need some sort of cake to 'cut.' We are originally from Columbus, so both of us weren't able to make it to a tasting. I was the lucky one...to draw that short straw. The tasting was AMAZING! They had so many options that you could choose from and all of their cakes were so moist and flavorful. I decided to go with a single layer 8" top cake to cut with a simple ombre pattern (fading from red, pink, orange to yellow). I was feeling so excited that I decided to surprise my future groom with a groomscake. The ideas were endless but we both went to Ohio State so it was hands down what I was picking...The Shoe. To be perfectly honest, I was somewhat skeptical from the pictures I saw, but went with it anyway. It would be close enough and it would be surprise. Boy...was I surprised. The cake was PHENOMENAL! It was so incredibly detailed and perfect, it stole the show. There were some guests that believed it to be fake. There were so many pictures taken of it and not to mention it was delicious (I chose red velvet). I couldn't have been more pleased with the cake.

We tried several different cake companies because we love dessert! I didn't want to choose Ele because everyone uses them, but their cake was amazing! My fiance said we just had to choose them and I finally agreed. :) I am glad we did. Our wedding cake was phenomenal! We had lemon, strawberry and chocolate and several guests commented on how delicious they were. I was hoping for leftovers to bring home, but it was all eaten! Thankfully, Ele bakes you a free cake for your first anniversary. I am already looking forward to it! :)

We've always loved their cupcakes, and were very excited to have them do our wedding cake - they were incredibly accommodating with our schedule, any little changes we made, and they made the trip in a severe snow emergency from Dayton to east Cincinnati! The cake was so beautiful, and VERY delicious! Everyone was raving about how great the cake was!

We decided to use Ele Cake since we've used them in the past for other cakes and have never been disappointed. Chelsea met with us and helped us design our dream cake. She was very friendly and professional. My husband was very involved throughout the wedding process and she made sure to include him in all discussions. On the wedding day we received the beautiful cake we designed and it tasted amazing! The guests are still raving about how good the cake was! I designed my cake with the help of the staff here! It turned out amazing and was so moist! The colors on the cake matched perfectly with my Kelly green and purple wedding and there was plenty of cake to feed our guests and have some to take home. Also, they automatically include a one year anniversary cake so that you don't have to freeze the top of your cake. However, we requested ours the day of our wedding and they happily obliged. (We actually wanted the sentiment of keeping the top layer of our cake. We served the anniversary cake at our wedding instead of the top layer and froze the top layer).

the cake was create, easy to work with, but didn't offer anything special. I had general concepts, but no exact ideas. They kept insisting that we get them pictures and create an exact design, but didn't help with creating that design.

I worked with Jessica and she was super super sweet. She made sure I was completely satisfied with everything. I wanted blue velvet cupcakes an I wanted them to be a royal blue shade. I mentioned this on the phone when I made my tasting appt. I was shocked when I arrived for the tasting and they had made blue velvet cake for me to try. I felt they went above and beyond. They had never made lie velvet before and were as excited as I was about the cupcakes. Everyone loved them and everything was great!

I don't even like cake, and I LOVED the cupcakes that Ele made for our wedding. They were delicious, and decorated beautifully! I definitely will be going back to this bakery for future cakes and cupcakes, and highly recommend!

I had a three tier cake that was lemon with lemon filling and strawberry with strawberry filling. I got so many compliments that this was the best cake my guest had ever eaten. It was sooo good!!!!

I ordered a 6 inch round and 100 cupcakes as my wedding cake. The ordering process and meetings were great and went smoothly. The woman handling my wedding order was polite, patient, and very positive which put me a good mood and calmed my nerves. The day of pick up I was a little disappointed with the "swirl" of color in the icing of my cupcakes, It was blended more than I wanted, but it wasn't going to ruin anything. They also forgot to give us the cake stand for the cupcakes, so we had to drive back. I personally thought the cake and cupcakes tasted a touch stale, but my guests seemed to love them. I had people taking the extra cupcakes home! I will say, that I have ordered just regular special occassion cakes from them, and bought cakes/other goodies from their bakery, and it's always delicious. I've never had an issue with "staleness" in the past. But, the cupcakes were out on display in room temp air for 5 hours or so before anyone ate them, so maybe that's why they weren't super moist. I would still recommend them, they do beautiful work. I always go here anytime I need a birthday cake, or just a treat to curb a craving. I'd recommend Ele Cake to anyone!

We picked Ele cake co. for our wedding cake. The cakes are so beautiful and are so delicious! We tasted 5 other cake companies and no one even came close to Ele! Jessica in the wedding department is so knowledgeable and very personable! She helped me pick the perfect wedding cake! She also helped me design my husband's grooms cake over the phone! They made living in Washington and planning a wedding in Ohio very easy and stress free! Everyone should go to Ele!

We did a cupcake tower with a 6-inch cake topper for my groom and me. We order 185 cupcakes, half were strawberry and the other half were lemon. The cupcakes tasted amazing, but the assembly was a little disappointing... The topper wasn't on the top of the 5-tier stand like it's obviously supposed to be. The workers said they couldn't get the bolt off the top to get the topper to be balanced. However, they didn't ask all of the people and other vendors that were there (with tools) to help get the bolt off. Also, we did a black and white-striped theme, and had black and white special wrapper that were supposed to be every other... which they all weren't. There were 2 or 3 of the same color in a row, which ruined the whole theme of the cake. But all-in-all, the cupcakes tasted amazing! The buttercream icing was so good, and everyone that had a cupcake said they were the best.

We did a Three tier cake plus a sheet in the back. The guests said the cake was great. The only cake I got to taste was the piece that my Husband shoved into my face haha. We didn't wait for the one year anniversary to eat our top tier. We pulled it out right after we got back from our honeymoon. It wasn't as great after frozen. Not a bad price either. Was under 500 dollars. The people there were very nice and helpful.

My husband and I have both loved Ele cakes for years. Their buttercream icing is to die for, and their cake creations are beyond impressive. We went the cupcake route for our guests with a small cake for us to cut and share. Our cake was downright amazing, and our guests raved about the cupcakes. They delivered the cakes and set up the display in a beautiful arrangement. The cost for 100 cupcakes, our 9" cake, and delivery was $225. Very reasonable considering it's the best cake in Dayton!

My wedding cake was so tasty! We had white cake with raspberry filling, iced with whipped cream Butter cream icing. When we went to Ele they offered us a sample plate of cake, 5 different kinds of cake and 5 different kinds of filling to try they also let us sample the different icings. It was ALL free to try. They had friendly staff that worked wit me on scheduling my appointment close to the same time as my meeting with the caterer, to make things convenient for us. I would recommend them to any one looking for the best butter cream icing in Ohio!

Our wedding cake was exactly as expected, beautiful and delicious. They give you so many choices to try during your cake tasting so you get the exact combination of flavors you like. We had two layers of chocolate cake with peanut butter cream filling and one layer of yellow cake with chocolate truffle filling. Both were fantastic. One of the other vendors we interviewed provided a couple of very small pieces of cake – very little variety. Even though both companies had delicious cake, we felt Elé went above and beyond by allowing us to sample many different cake flavors and filling combinations in addition to trying different frostings. They easily earned our business.

Everyone LOVED our cake- it was beautiful and very tasty! However, I got a call from the company a few days before the wedding with a voicemail basically stating they were delivering the cake at 4pm on the wedding day and if that didn't work too bad because it was too late to change it. Otherwise- I really enjoyed working with them and will likely purchase from them in the future.

We purchased our wedding cake and the groom's cake from Ele. Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and just what I wanted. I had taken a picture to them and they re-created it perfectly. We ordered a groom's cake that was to look like my husband's boat with a bride and groom fishing in it. They were so creative in making it. It looked awesome! My husband loved it.

I knew I wanted Ele to make my wedding cake years before I was engaged. Their cake is amazingly delicious. I was in awe of the artistry, and all of the flavors were delicious. I highly recommend Ele.

Ele Cake in West Carrollton made our 5 tier wedding cake. The pink and green colors matched my color perfectly. It was the best tasting cake in the world and looked absolutely gorgeous! They also made us a chihuahua out of fondant and it looked just like our dog, Lola. We were very, very pleased! They can do anything! Can't wait to eat the banana flavored top tier in one year. I went into this shop to use them first of all for my in laws 60 yr anniversary cake... after being ignored by a gal on a personal call, we started looking through books... she finally said something like 'when you pick something out, let me know'. When she finally decided to actually wait on us, I asked about sugar free cakes... she sent us out to the counter where we had to purchase a dry, un-iced cupcake, which was not good at all. I walked out an haven't been back. Needless to say, if they don't want my business any more than that, they certainly won't get it.

The cake tasted awesome and it was the perfect look for our wedding. We went with a chocolate cake with chocolate gauche filling and Baily's Irish cream filling with butter cream icing! Absolutely delicious and a great company to work with!

The cake was fantastic!! The service was wonderful, I really enjoyed our consultant. And the price was reasonable. I was actually surprised after we placed our order to see what the price was... much lower than I had expected.

Ele has been a favorite for many years, so deciding to have them do my wedding cake was very easy. However, I think since the business has grown so much they have become careless in some details. The icing on my cake had not setup before they but in on the cake so it started shifting before the cutting. The tast was of course excellent, but I was disappointed in the final product.

Our cake was for our at home reception, because we had a destination wedding. There were 3 layers to the cake and each layer was to have a strip of fondant aqua waves going along the bottom (and all the way around). When we arrived at the facility and went to look at the cake, the bottom layer's waves did not go all the way around and did not meet up. There was about an inch to an inch and a half of space, and for the money we paid, this really upset me. But on the overall the cake was very delicious and looked good.

Our cake was beautiful and we had sheet cake for the majority of our guests. It was so delicious and moist! And it was also so affordable. I was so surprised how much we could get for so little money at Ele Cake Co. We talked to one other cake vendor and it would have been hundreds of dollars more if we had chosen them and the cake was actually better at Ele. I would definitely recommend them!

I won't eat any cakes other than Ele Cake, so when it came to my wedding, it didn't look anywhere else. My cake looked perfect. It was exactly how I wanted it to look and the taste was absolutely decadent. The only problem was that they forgot to give us boxes for the extras, so my dad had to put the whole thing in his trunk at the end of the night...not good!

Cake was amazing, service was too. Perfect!

My husband and I went to several Bridal Shows together. We tried several caterers and cake companies. Ele Cake's was the best we found. If we didn't already have a friend doing our cake, we would have booked Ele Cake's for sure! You'd be amazed with the quality/taste of the cake and how nice they are.
