My name is Kaely Pillars and I’m a wedding photographer based in Eastern Iowa. The majority of the weddings I photograph take place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Waterloo, Manchester, Dyersville, Dubuque and Des Moines; although I love to travel and will photograph your wedding regardless of where it takes place. My photography style is clean, classic and timeless; an equal mix of both traditional and photojournalistic photography styles.
I am a graduate of the Professional Photography Program at Hawkeye Community College, with an emphasis in portrait photography. I am proud to serve on the Board of Directors for the Professional Photographers of Iowa, as well as on the Advisory Board for the Photography Program at Hawkeye Community College.

Kaley goes above and beyond to ensure you get every image you could ever want - we got over 1,500 pictures/moments to reflect back on - EVERYONE is stunning. She asked & listened to what we wanted, but also gave us her input as well. Our engagement & wedding photos weren't your run of the mill poses, they were unique to us as a couple. ur wedding! When we did our engagement pictures, she picked the perfect location and the pictures turned out AMAZING! Kaely edits the pictures perfectly! We had her and Kim cover my wedding last week and I don't know where to even begin! They were outstanding with organizing a big bridal party. They were efficient in getting all the photos I wanted such as family, bridal party, personal attendants. It was definitely the best day of my life and went so smoothly with the photographer getting everything down in a timely manner. I would recommend their services to all my family and friends! They have done over four of our friends' weddings so far!

My husband and I have been married for about 18 days and we already have our wedding photos! She made us fee so comfortable. She didn't feel like the photographer at our wedding. raphy. On our wedding day she was nice, although I wish she would have been a better director. When we got our pictures I was disappointed. The family pictures were terrible, enough were it was difficult to choose one decent enough for a Christmas card. It would have been better to have somebody with a old 35mm snap a photo. I love details and put a lot of small details into our wedding and I don't think she did a good job capturing them . She fixed a few photos but many photos had roster tails and flying hair. There aren't many photos which are canvas print worthy, maybe 4. She tried takign artistic photos and just ruined pictures, like covering our MOH and BM faces with tree branches. I really wish I would have choose a different photographer, it is the one thing I would change about my wedding. If you aren't that picky about photos then she will do a good job.
