The Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding!
If you're looking for a wedding band that will blow your guests away and keep the dance floor packed all night, look no further than Electirc Sugar!!!! From the very first note to the last encore, this band absolutely stunned everyone — people barely left the dance floor, and the energy was electric all night long!
Their setlist was unmatched — an abundance of song choices that made it feel like the possibilities were endless. Every generation felt represented, from timeless classics to today’s hits, and they flowed seamlessly from one great moment to the next. "Pink Pony Club" literally had the dance floor packed, even though it wasn't even on the original song choice list.
Working with Dillon was an absolute dream. He was attentive, kind, and professional from start to finish. He listened to what we wanted, reassured us through the planning process, and took care of every detail. Not only did he offer to emcee (and did an amazing job coordinating), but he also ensured every special dance and moment went off without a hitch. Dillon and the band even learned our first dance song and went the extra mile to perform another special request just for my groom — it was so personal and unforgettable.

Electric Sugar was amazing!! I highly recommend them as a DJ service and band. Our wedding reception wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without them! They were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful from day one. They were on top of everything and super communicative throughout the process, which made things so much less stressful. We felt like we were in great hands. They made sure to double check with us to make sure we were 100% happy with how things would go. They helped make the night of dancing super fun and lively! Their prices were also really reasonable, and they went above and beyond of what was expected. Hire them for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

Electric Sugar is absolutely phenomenal!
We’ve been lucky enough to have Electric Sugar play at our school fundraiser two years in a row, and they’ve truly become a highlight of the event. From start to finish, they bring an incredible mix of energy, talent, and professionalism that keeps everyone smiling and dancing.
Their setlist has the perfect balance of fun classics and fresh hits, and they know exactly how to read the crowd. Not only are they amazing musicians, but they’re also a joy to work with — friendly, flexible, and genuinely passionate about putting on a great show.

Electric Sugar played our recent party and they were awesome! Great energy and an amazing, eclectic mix of classics and current hits. Communication and scheduling were a breeze. Having a live band is definitely worth it over a DJ. We hope to have them play for us again!

I don’t know where to start with Dillon and Electric Sugar…. They were incredible. Plain and simple. I worked with Dillon leading up to wedding weekend and he was kind, prompt, professional, and fun. We worked together to create a set list that was perfect for our taste in music. Dillon also played guitar at our ceremony and it was beautiful. He did a combo of guitar and prerecorded music per our request and it was perfect. He brought all the equipment needed for our officiant to have a microphone as well. The Electric Sugar band as a whole played for our reception. We had them for 3 hours and the dance floor was packed for 3 hours. They were so much fun and SO talented!!! It was the best party and they were a huge reason behind it! I would recommend them to anyone for their wedding or any other occasion they are looking to add spice and energy too. If we ever host another event where music is needed I would book them in a heartbeat

Electric Sugar exceeded all of our expectations. Dillon was flexible as our plans changed last minute due to the weather. He was incredibly accommodating, and the band brought great energy. People couldn't believe how great they sounded, and their range, with a 3-piece band. We received so many compliments that night and in the days after. Would absolutely have them again and recommend them to others.

From the moment we first spoke, their communication was enthusiastic, and efficient -Their performance on the big day was nothing short of amazing. They played with such energy and passion, truly making our wedding a night to remember. The highlight was when they learned our special request, "Pink Pony Club", and got the whole crowd dancing wildly - I'll never forget the look of pure joy on everyone's faces. We hired Electric Sugar for our wedding in downtown Chicago. We needed a band that could provide ceremony music, cocktail hour music, dinner music AND reception music and Electric Sugar did it all! They were really professional to work with, and organized so on the day of my wedding, I didn't have to worry about any of the music. They really helped to set the tone for the entire wedding. The cocktail hour music set the perfect vibe, and the reception music was upbeat and fun. They had a lot of people up dancing the entire wedding. They even played our first dance songs!

I hired Electric Sugar for a big event I was helping to organize in Wheaton. Working with Dillon was super easy, and he was very helpful during the entire planning process. I wasn't super sure what I really needed for this event, but Dillon was very knowledgeable and brought my vision to life! Electric Sugar was upbeat, and fun for our audience. They also brought their own lighting, which helped set the vibe. We also had a small part of the evening where we only needed soft dinner-type music and they really delivered here too! I would highly recommend them for any event, big or small!

We loved having Electric Sugar at our wedding! Dillon was so easy to work with and really took the time to get to know us as a couple before our big day. This really played into how successful our day was, because they knew our music taste and were able to adjust and accommodate so easily all night long. DJ Dan was so attentive all night and helped keep us on our timeline and adapted easily when we got of track. He kept the night running smoothly and was so kind! Plus, he killed it with the song selection and kept us dancing all night long! Jeremiah played guitar and sand during our cocktail hour and our guests loved it! The vibes were perfect. I really cannot recommend Electric Sugar enough. They were professional, personable, and brought the party!
