Riley and her team went above and beyond for us! We absolutely adored working with Elegant Affairs by Design. From the very beginning, Riley allowed me to dream big. She gave us options to stay within our budget without sacrificing the luxury look we were wanting. Riley was so kind through every interaction. She answered every question, helped me through difficult decisions, and stepped in when I needed her. I never worried about a single thing on our perfect wedding day. The EABD team came, did everything, and allowed us to just enjoy our day! We are so thankful!!!

Being a planner myself, I was very selective when choosing someone to help me coordinate my wedding day. I knew immediately Riley and Elegant Affairs by Design was the right choice! When starting the process of planning my daughters wedding I questioned the need for a wedding planner, but shortly into the process realized how invaluable this service is. Our lead planner Danyle was amazing to work with! She checked in with us regularly, kept us on pace and provided us with all the assistance we wanted, but never overstepped. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Danyle communicated with and coordinated all the vendors, provided a detailed timeline for everything and everyone so that when our wedding day arrived everything went smoothly with little stress. We had the pleasure of working with Sam from EABD for about a year and she made the wedding planning process such an ease! She was organized, responsive, honest, and overall just fun to work with! Her and her team were incredibly flexible and innovative on the day of. Two examples were when a groomsman forgot his bow tie, one of the planning assistants used her black hair bow to serve as his bow tie, and the other was when the windy evening compromised the hedge wall which another assistant held down during speeches while they waited for more sand bags. My best friend is getting married and I will be recommending EABD to her!

I can’t say enough good things about EABD and Riley and her team. I interviewed quite a few wedding planners early on in the process, but I instantly connected with Riley. She was so genuine and easy to talk to; I felt like I was talking to a long-time friend. This feeling continued throughout the entire planning process. Riley’s team helped us pick out save the dates, Riley sourced vendors for us, answered our questions in a timely manner, and even let me vent about any frustrations. Riley had 2 assistants present on our wedding day, and I knew I could fully trust them all as a type A bride. They kept us on time, answered my family’s never ending questions, bustled my dress, even stepped in and removed red wine stains on my dress just before the reception! Danyle and her team exceeded our very high expectations. Everything was taken care of for us in manner where we both felt very in the loop and included in decisions, but also blissfully unaware of all the moving parts happening around us so we could enjoy our day. Everyone on the team is polite, professional, and truly a joy to work with. They made a fun event even better, and I cannot sing there praises loud enough! Top marks all around! I can’t even begin to describe how lucky I am to have had Riley and the whole elegant affairs by design team plan my wedding. Riley was with me every step of the process which meant the world to me with my mom not alive anymore. I was able to work through every planning and design piece with Riley and not only have an amazing planner but now a best friend. The team was there and made sure my rehearsal dinner, wedding and post wedding brunch were perfect. As an extreme type A personality, knowing I had EABD taking care of everything the whole wedding weekend removed all stress. I am so glad that we made the right decision to choose them as our wedding coordinators. We just returned from St. Pete for our daughter’s wedding. I’m so sad I won’t be chatting with Riley anymore I told her I sort of feel like I broke up with my boyfriend🤣. Riley could not have been more helpful. We were planning a large, Jewish wedding in an unfamiliar city and Riley helped us choose the perfect venue and the perfect vendors! The weekend was truly magical and seamless. Every detail down to the linens was absolutely perfect. We’re still giddy talking about it! Sam and the EABD team truly executed our vision flawlessly. They were incredible! Everything turned out better than we could've imagined. They took on any and every task I needed them to and even ones I didn't know existed or that I needed :) I can't say it enough…. They are a talented, kind, and truly exceptional team. Riley, Danyle and Sam were beyond words fantastic. The moment we hired Elegant Affairs by Design, I (a very type A bride with spreadsheets upon spreadsheets) immediately felt a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. I could finally enjoy the process and really take in this special time as a bride-to-be without the heaps of stress that people warn you about. The team constantly checked in on me, offered help frequently, helped reassure me in my decisions, kept my head on straight and, above all, respected my husband and I's wedding vision (and helped to execute it flawlessly!). Where do I even begin! We hired Riley and her team at Elegant Affairs by Design for month of coordination and it was one of THE BEST wedding decisions we made. Hiring Riley and Samantha for month of coordination was by far the best decision we made for our entire wedding! Not only are they the sweetest women, but they also are incredible at what they do. They are so connected to the wedding scene in the Tampa area, and did such a good job helping us bring our vision to life and advocating for us with other vendors when we needed it. The day of, we knew we could totally relax because we were in such good hands with them. Their response time to all of our questions was amazingly fast, and we felt like we got way more than our money’s worth from how they helped leading up to the wedding and the wedding weekend. On top of everything, their team is so fun to have around the day of. One of the funnest moments of the reception was pulling Riley onto the dance floor to celebrate all of our hard work together.

There aren't enough words to express my gratitude for all the hard work from Samantha and her team at EABD. She was incredible to work with for my daughter's wedding. The open communication we had in the last couple of months leading up to the big day was so amazing. Samantha was an absolutely amazing wedding planner. I got the month of coordination package and she was always available in the months leading up to the wedding via text or call for any questions we had. She took care of so many little details when it came to timeline, vendor contracts, and venue floor plan! Kadey was also there during our wedding day to assist Sam in setting up. She was going back and forth between spaces making sure every detail was executed perfectly. I couldn’t have done it without Sam and Kadey and highly recommend them!

Riley and her team at EABD were absolutely incredible, and I cannot imagine our wedding without them! It really was a dream come true. Through the planning process, Riley was very responsive to emails, calls, and texts. She always made sure we had peace of mind with where we were at in the timeline. Riley exceeded my expectations by asking the vendors questions I never would have thought of, taking detailed notes while in vendor meetings, being extremely organized from day 1, and adapting to a new vision when I wanted to change my floral design. I was able to truly relax on our wedding day knowing we were in such good hands. EABD stayed through the whole day ensuring proper clean up of the venue, and Riley made sure I received my guest book, signs, card box, champagne flutes, etc. back after the wedding. When our original wedding venue canceled on us 6 months before our wedding, Riley jumped in with alternative options (and was a supportive shoulder to cry on - literally). She was the best vendor we hired, and I could not have planned my wedding without her! She answered every question along the way, and was a huge help throughout the process. She understood our vision, kept our vendors in the loop, and made our day run seamlessly! Her team also was very supportive, and jumped in whenever I had questions. When our other vendors heard we were working with EABD, they had glowing things to say, which really says a lot. Do not look any further - EABD is the best!

What really makes EABD stand out is the amount of empathy and care that Riley puts into her brides. Riley would check on me constantly, ask how I'm feeling and really listen to me. She would empathize with me and offered to do whatever she could even if there were things outside of her scope. Let me first start by saying Riley is the kindness person ever. From the moment I spoke to her on the phone to the moment the wedding was over she never missed a beat. She was calm when I was not she always was our biggest cheerleader. Her entire team was professional, organized and motivated. I am a stickler for detail and they nailed each one of them. We hired Riley for month of coordination and it was the BEST decision of the entire wedding. She took all the stress out of the month leading up to our wedding and made our wedding day run so smoothly. Our venue’s ballroom a/c broke the day of the wedding and we had to move to a completely different room at the hotel after everything had been set up. Riley completely took care of the entire room switch and we didn’t have to stress about it at all. She coordinated all of our vendors and allowed us to relax and celebrate with our family and friends. We HIGHLY recommend Riley and her team as the sweetest and most professional coordination team.

The best thing I ever did was hire Riley and her team for my wedding!!! I was so worried about having a destination wedding in the Virgin Islands and Riley and Samantha were so great at planning EVERYTHING and dealing with unresponsive vendors and all the island locals who run on “island time”. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and stress free and I’m so sad it’s over because I feel like Riley and Samantha were like my best friends throughout the whole process and I miss complaining about all the family drama to them. And even though the tide was high on the beach for the ceremony, Riley STILL made it work since my fiancé wanted it on the beach so badly and I was so impressed that Riley pulled it off. I will forever be grateful for Riley and Samantha for making our wedding such a special, fun, once in a lifetime event!

Riley and her team were just amazing! I did not have to worry one bit day of about anything not running smoothly. I struggle with anxiety and it was so nice not having to have all the stress of coordinating all the moving parts on my wedding day. Riley and her entire team is absolutely amazing! She made my wedding the best day of my life! She knows what she is talking about and helps bring your vision to life. Working with Elegant Affairs by Design was truly a wonderful experience. I was trying to plan my small destination wedding in FL myself, but soon realized I wanted someone to handle/think of the smaller details, and also handle the day of too, so I could relax on my big day. They were helpful, professional, and so friendly from the very start to the very end. We mainly worked with Danyle, who was so sweet and thought of everything, and the whole team was all so helpful and on top of things. I’d absolutely recommend working with EABD, they will make the whole wedding process much easier, and on your big day, you won’t have to worry about a thing because you know they’ve taken care of everything! Riley and her team were very good! They were on top of everything and paid attention to all the details from the beginning of planning to the end of wedding day. Very responsive and confirmed all vendors etc. They made sure everything flowed beautifully wedding day and were always available the entire time. She was a must have as we planned a destination wedding. As my husband said “money well spent” Not only was she a wonderful wedding planner, she is also just a lovely person in general as well as all the ladies that work on her team. Thank you again!

Our package at Casa Lanta came with Riley as our  "Wedding Planner and day of coordinator" Riley was not what we thought she was. She appeared very sweet and kind throughout the planning process however the day of she behaved very differently. Honestly I planned most of my wedding and she had her check list to make sure we got things done. On the day of the wedding she didn't even set up all the decor accurately and some of my things weren't even used even though we discussed it prior. She does not seem to handle stress well and it showed which made me very stressed! She rushed us along to make sure we followed the timeline but then disappeared throughout the reception. As a wedding coordinator we expected her to be around to help things flow and keep our DJ from fumbling around however she was seen often inside chatting with other staff. The worst part of having her as our "coordinator" was when she instructed Casa Lantana staff and my own contracted caterer to throw everything on the tables away. This included: party favors, photo booth photos, Thank you cards, and our custom boarding pass themed table assignments for our guests. The caterer herself was uncomfortable doing this and Riley was very aggressive with her tone when giving her this instruction. I discussed with the caterer prior that she would help buss tables (plates, cups, and utensil) things you typically throw away and not keepsakes meant for our guests! When we questioned Riley about the missing things from the tables she was very dismissive and unprofessional. She knew how hard we worked on our DYI materials for our guests to take home and she really didn't care. She cared about rushing our reception and getting things cleaned up before the reception was even over. While our guests danced for only a short amount of time she was already throwing their things away. It was ridiculous and she never even apologized or held herself accountable for what she did. She told my aunt that she could pick through the trash to retrieve these items. I'm completely disgusted with how she conducted herself. She disrespected us and our guests by trashing the sentimental things at our wedding that were meant for our guests to take home to help them remember our special day. Our wedding was beautiful thanks to the amazing venue but as for Riley we really wish we were more respected and our wants and needs were taken more into consideration as our wedding came to an end.

There are not enough words to say how appreciative we are to Riley and her amazing team at Elegant Affairs by Design. I had no idea where to start with wedding planing so I knew I needed a wedding planner. I found Riley from social media and knew from the moment I saw her blush theme that she was the one for me. From the first phone conversation with Riley, I immediately felt like the most important person. Riley is bubbly, personable, tentative, great communicator, the cheerleader and therapist when you’re feeling stressed (because weddings are stressful), and the best wedding planner out there. From communicating my budget with vendors, giving me month by month and week by week planning check lists, helping me create a vision, she fought for us every step of the way. Our wedding day was the most special and perfect day of our lives and that’s thanks to Riley and her team at Elegant Affairs by Design! They will be a true blessing to your wedding weekend and I give them endless love and praise. We hope she’s still wedding planning when it’s our future kids’ turn to get married.

To say Riley did an incredible job helping us plan our wedding wouldn't do her justice. If you want someone that is creative, reliable, and trustworthy then Riley, and the Elegant Affairs team, are the planners for you. We started planning our wedding when COVID cases were low. A month before our date, cases were spiking to an all time high. Although we were stressed and worried, Riley was calm and she helped us come up with alternate plans that worked within the commitments we had already made. ...Then came Hurricane Ida. Our wedding took place on the border of Alabama and Florida the day before Ida made landfall. Fortunately the hurricane did not inhibit our plans, but leading up to our wedding date we were unsure which direction the hurricane would go. I told Riley we may have to move our wedding day up so we can get married and get people back home safely. Without missing a beat she said she'd reach out to all of the vendors, see what they could do about altering the timeline, and contact me ASAP. These two stories are only a fraction of the great things she did for us. That's what you get with her. You get a reliable planner that you can trust regardless of circumstance. The team at Elegant Affairs by Design are the absolute best. Riley and her team really know what they are doing. She not only helped me plan my entire wedding she also became a friend. She was always available and got things done fast. I only thought I could have imagined what all goes into planning a wedding but man was I wrong, and Riley knew it all and more. She has an amazing network of vendors that she recommended and helped me secure. I had the dream team of vendors and it was all thanks to Riley. I could go on and on about Elegant Affairs by Design but I recommend if you’re planning a wedding hire Riley and I promise you will not regret it!

I cannot recommend Riley and her team enough!!! I got married at a hotel that offered a coordinator and was going back and forth on whether to hire a wedding planner or not because I had booked most of the main vendors myself and am pretty organized but I am SO glad that I did. If this situation sounds anything like yours I'm here to tell you - BOOK THE COORDINATOR! Riley was so helpful with recommendations, coordinating the schedule and just giving advice on everything I wasn't sure about. She made the planning process so fun and stress-free! Riley was out of town on our wedding day so she sent McKenzie and Kadey who were absolute ANGELS! They set everything up, tore everything down, wrangled rowdy groomsmen, escorted out wedding crashers (multiple times) and kept the day running so smoothly. My mom and MOH were able to enjoy the getting-ready process and didn't feel responsible for making sure everything was in order. I couldn't have asked for a better team and will be forever thankful to them!! :)

Riley was the best wedding planner we could have asked for! She was always so nice, friendly, and professional with us and all of our family and guests. Riley was always available to answer any questions or advice we needed during our wedding planning process and helped guide us and remind us of things that we wouldn't have known about on our own. She was very generous with her time and patient with us with any questions and concerns we had. We don't think our wedding could have gone anything close to the way it did without her! Elegant Affairs by Design is truly that, they designed the most elegant and romantic affair that I could have ever imagined. Riley went above-and-beyond in every aspect and is the most patient, kind, smart, and fun professional and friend. Riley planned our wedding among a pandemic and kept us calm through the entire process, even when we separated from our original venue less than 30 days until the event and a week later when the catered backed out, and especially as we were planning thousands of miles away. The key to great relationships is communication and Riley was not only proactive in her approach and communication, but never let questions linger. Walking into our wedding was magic! Riley was amazing! I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her in the several months leading up to my wedding and on my wedding day. My wedding day went so smoothly and as a bride it’s so easy to stress about small things but she was always right there day of and leading up to the wedding. She is professional but still feels like your own wedding day best friend. Everyone commented on how kind and professional both her and her assistant was.
