Liz helped us with the design and decor including the lighting, flowers and ALL rentals which were extensive since the JFK library ONLY provides the magnificent setting and views. Elegant Aura also served as the "day of" planner/coordinator. Liz was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely responsive to calls and emails. She attended all vendor meetings with us and worked very hard to bring the vision to life. She helped navigate and source items at the best cost and to substitute items, where necessary, to achieve the effect we desired, at a lower cost. After our initial meeting, I instantly felt more calm and confident about my wedding. This trend continued throughout the following year. As my husband and I were going to be traveling out of the country for 5 months just prior to the wedding, we needed someone who could work with us more than 9 months in advance and primarily on the wedding day as a Day Of Coordinator. And the wedding would be held in our backyard in MA while our daughter and her fiancée lived in AZ. We needed someone who could see any problems with the planning and identify any forgotten or omitted tasks. We also needed someone who was creative with a wealth of ideas and experience. Creativity AND an attention to detail is what Liz and her company provided us. For example, I had bought a 4x4’ sateen fabric in hunter green, one of the colors of the day. On the day of the wedding, I offered the fabric to Liz to use however she wanted. She chose to use it on the 10 person white table clothed head table to outline the area where the bride and groom would sit. It was very effective and added distinction to the head table. Another example, when we met with Liz two months before the wedding she and Olivia came with a three ring binder with tabs and all the pertinent papers organized. Liz could quickly find the contract or email that she was looking for. In short, Liz was at all times diplomatic and professional. She exceeded our expectations in every way. It was such a joy to have Liz with us on my daughter’s wedding day.

and I, it was our wedding. After an exhaustive search for someone to plan and coordinate our wedding we chose Elizabeth, better know to us as Liz Quill of Elegant Aura. My husband and I wanted our wedding held at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Massachusetts. We are both out of state residents so the role of a wedding planner became one of our most important tasks to engage. After an exhaustive search we selected Liz. The expectations for Liz was a very daunting task. However, we placed our trust in her hands and gave her a list of our needs. With minimum direct involvement, Liz performed everything perfectly. Liz manged airline arrangements from all over the nation, reserved rooms for all of our guests and manged invitations and their responses. She also selected multiple venues and the highest quality providers in the area for flowers, photography, invitations, bakery and special menus. Liz maintained an on going line of communication with me and also with all of our guests, since many were coming cross county. My husband and I were more than pleased with the outcome and expectations we had. With Liz at the helm we had not one issue. What my husband and I valued the most about Liz was her ubiqutous value. She never left us during the entire three days our guest were at the resort. Our wedding was both elegant and beautiful from all avenues. nd Saturday afternoon cross-cultural wedding ceremony in Lincoln, MA. The key was that she would be able to work with us effectively as we reside in New York area. Liz is an ultimate professional. She is a well-experienced wedding/event planner with good connections in Boston area. Her experience includes planning for varied cultural celebrations. She presents herself well and provides sound input on various issues that always arise in such events including those events held at private venues. Her follow-up is on target. Given her success, experience, and knowledge of Boston area, she is extremely well organized, responsive and works cooperatively with all service providers, while keeping clients’ needs as a priority. We appreciated her leadership in coordinating logistics with other service providers. Without repeating, I echo many qualities as indicated in the review below, notably her honesty, her integrity and her priority/vision to make this event a successful celebration. She stitched the various parts of the mosaic events so beautifully that all of us enjoyed the celebrations without any interruptions or hiccups! Her assistant never once flinched at what was being asked of her. We are appreciative for everything Liz did in pulling together this 2-day celebration, and that will stay with us for a long time!

They were only Day-of planners for us, so most of the vendor selection and similar work was on us; they smoothly transitioned into our planning in the spring and helped us complete the wedding in the summer. Here are some of the wonderful things about Liz: -She is very smart and organized. I barely took notes when we talked, because I could tell early on that Liz remembered and kept track of every decision we made and all the information we shared with her. -She thinks of everything. Liz anticipated issues and questions we never would have thought of on our own, gave us ample time to think about them, and was good at suggesting and brainstorming solutions. -She's easy to schedule meetings with, and she responds promptly and fully to e-mails. -She can "run with it" if you need her to, but she will also flag all the decisions that need to be made well in advance. If you want to be very involved in choosing your backyard lighting, she'll send you lots of options. If you want to say, "please take the flowers from here, we're sure you'll pick something great," she can do that too (and she will pick something great!) -The vendors that she suggested for our Friday dinner were all excellent (and if there were any hiccups, we didn't know about them, because Liz was coordinating everything so wonderfully!) And she was able to step in very smoothly as "month of" coordinator with all the vendors we'd already chosen for Saturday. -It's always your vision and your happiness that is Liz's priority. I never felt we were being talked into anything, or that we were being urged to fit someone else's idea of what our wedding should be. It was all about what would make us and our guests most comfortable and happy. Both our Friday night and Saturday events unfolded beautifully. Throughout the weekend, I could completely relax and be present for this special time with our family and friends, knowing that Liz had everything moving smoothly. We had the most wonderful weekend, and are so grateful for everything Liz did to make it happen.

She had everything mapped out since day one: what needed to be done in which month, and which vendors she thought would work best for us. My mom and I were extremely impressed by each vendor Liz introduced us to and we pretty much decided on the first person Liz would bring us to. She sent us a lot of information on possible vendors but I completely trusted her, and what ever her first choices were ended up being ours as well. At one point I became a little confused about what I wanted for my wedding - with all of the influences from Pinterest to magazines it happens- Liz met with me and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted. She was constantly checking in to make sure I was not getting stressed or overwhelmed. As it got closer to the wedding I had a hard time attending meetings since my schedule was getting hectic with work and school. Liz asked me if I would allow her to make a few "executive decisions" on some stationary and other things. I completely trusted her so of course I said yes. I was so thrilled with everything she picked and I knew that I wouldn't have been able to thought of those ideas myself. Ultimately, I think Liz understood what I wanted more than I did. She was able to handle unorthodox ideas and requests and brought in everything we wanted. When it was the actual day of the wedding I did not worry or stress at all. I didn't actually see Liz at all times but she keep things moving so well behind the scenes. Everything ran so smoothly I didn't have to think about anything except enjoying the day. No one asked me for anything, nothing was disorganized, I got to do exactly what I wanted all day. Our family and friends have told us they haven't seen a wedding go as smoothly as ours. I couldn't imagine having to go through the wedding process with anyone else or even by myself. Liz brought in so many little details that I never would have thought of, and have never seen at a wedding. My mom and I said from the very beginning and Liz was the best choice we made and she was completely worth it. We are constantly raving about her to everyone. I would not have had the wedding I had without her.

Maid of Honor. However, in Chinese culture, the groom plans the entire wedding. Neither of us growing up thinking of planning a wedding or learning about it from friends that completed the process. Then, Liz of Elegant Aura came into our lives and saved the Big Day! We met Liz in May, 2015 and during that time told her that our wedding day was to be in the beginning of August, 2015. Not only was our wedding here in America in 3 months, but we were also planning a wedding in China that was to be a month after this one. The wedding in China required both of us to take a trip to China during the middle of planning the American wedding. Rather than trying to talk us out of the day for the American wedding, with it being only 3 months away, she told us that it can definitely be done and she would love to help us along the way. Liz seemed to be motivated by this challenge and excited to take it on with us. She gently noted that the shorter time frame would cause us to be busier during the wedding process, but it is honesty like this that makes Liz such a great wedding planner. The open communication makes her a part of the team and not just someone on the sidelines. Liz guided us along the process every step of the way and effortlessly incorporated our 2 week absence while we travelled to China into the overall plans. She helped push us to complete goals and always in a gentle and helpful way to keep us on track with our tight timeline. Wedding planning can be stressful at times, but planning a wedding together with my wife was an enjoyable experience giving us a chance to work and grow together. And when things got too difficult or overwhelming, we could always reach out to Liz with many, many questions, concerns or suggestions and she was always willing to help and offer her advice based on years of past experience, which was something we definitely lacked. Overall, hiring Liz as our wedding planner was a great choice and now we feel as if she has become a close friend!

Aura to plan my wedding! From listening to my fears of everything I did not want to happen to helping me choose between different linens, Elegant Aura was there every step of the way to guide me in planning my wedding and enlighten me in areas where I had no clue what I was doing. Elegant Aura made wedding planning as easy and stress free as possible! After a couple of months of booking my venue, I suddenly began to find things about the space that I did not like. However, Elegant Aura linked me with some of the most amazing vendors, most of which I would have never have found on my own, who all came together to make the ballroom breathtaking! I also began to run into issues with the venue on how things would run the day of the wedding. Despite how much the venue did to want to do some things that I really wanted to have done, Liz advocated for me and made sure that everything we wanted was executed the day of. Despite the many clients they had, by the time we got close to my wedding, Liz had gotten to know me so well, that she could already predict what I would or wouldn't like! I felt as though I had known Liz for years, and from the bottom of our hearts, we will miss working with her and having her around! If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't choose any other wedding planner! Our wedding wasn't at a venue, it was outside on our family's land with limited resources (ex: didn't have running water) - so we had to plan out what supplies to bring, map out where all vendors should be, etc. It was a lot to think about and I was feeling very overwhelmed getting closer to the date, but Liz was great with offering up tips and advice on how to handle it all, as well as coordinating the schedule and everyone in our bridal party. She especially was very helpful on the day-of, keeping everything on track. The most helpful item she handled was handing out the checks we wrote out to our vendors the day-of. I personally am so happy that's one thing I didn't have to worry about so I could fully enjoy myself the entire night. I'd absolutely recommend Elegant Aura to any bride out there still thinking of hiring a wedding planner, totally worth the money!

most brides are doing this for the first (and hopefully only) time, it's extremely helpful to have someone who knows what questions to ask, what seems weird or normal about a vendor contract, and how much things should cost. Liz knows all this and then some, and truly went out of her way to find vendors we loved and coordinate with them throughout our wedding planning. Right before the ceremony, Liz had come to get me from the car and delivered me to my parents who both walked me down the aisle. We were about to begin the procession with all eyes on us, and I realized my nose was running. Neither my mom or dad had a tissue with them, and I could exactly wipe it on my dress, so Liz miraculously produced a piece of fabric and saved the moment. That's just one example of the countless details and small little things she helped us accomplish. We had the best wedding ever and thank her immensely.

She literally makes you feel like a princess! Liz is like a beautiful young fairy god mother! I genuinely do not know what I would do without her! Everything went smoothly and perfect on our wedding day in Liz's hands! My one regret is not listening to all of her advice!!! am so glad I had Liz, because my venue isn't one of those "one size fits all" places and I basically had to do everything on my own- having Liz made things a lot easier. She is sweet, kind, and caring as well as professional and organized. She always answered my questions promptly and kindly even when towards the end I started to feel stressed and overwhelmed. I had a few issues with one of my vendors and Liz stepped in, dealt with the issues head on in an extremely professional manner, and basically advocated for me when I didn't feel like I could for myself. I loved working with her and she set up my wedding beautifully and just like I envisioned. I highly recommend her and only wish I had hired her right from the beginning!

like picking the venue, or something small like a phone call late at night asking AGAIN how to stuff the invitations. The tasks they performed fell so far outside of “just planning the wedding” and really included getting to know us as a couple, our likes and dislikes, the important facts about our families, what stressed us out, and what didn’t. We can honestly say that without Elegant Aura, our wedding would not have been even half as special as it was. All of our guests commented on how beautiful everything was, the attention to detail, the little touches- it was all Elegant Aura. The best part is that we didn’t stress even a little bit on the actual day of the wedding, because we knew we could trust Alison and Liz to handle everything. It sounds incredibly corny, but it’s true: we hired wedding planners, and got two great friends out of it. Aura, I've been telling all my friends that it is an absolute MUST. The Quill sisters helped me navigate through all the overwhelming decisions I had to make, with lots of laughs along the way. It was great being able to talk through everything with Liz and Alison. Not only were they creative and helpful, but they constantly went above and beyond their responsibilities as planners. My wedding day was perfect - it was everything I ever wanted and more. And I can say with complete confidence that it was thanks to Liz and Alison. However, the one thing I didn't plan on was getting violently ill the day before my wedding and on my wedding day. Alison was a life saver. She was at my rehearsal with her sister who helped with everything. I was so sick and weak that I couldn't do much so Alison helped me with everything during the rehearsal and then again the next day at my wedding. At my request, she rearranged the flow of events so that I could get thru the cake cutting and dances before taking a break in my hotel room. She kept me abrest of everything and made the changes on my wedding day seamlessly. Some people didn't even know I was ill because of Alison working behind the scenes to make it all flow. She thought of everything - fed me snacks when i could eat, covered me with a shawl when it was cold out during pictures, left our photo booth album on our bed that night, etc. She was so thoughtful and covered every base. She worked well with the vendors, too. Imagine having your entire wedding day planned perfectly and then getting ill! If it were not for Alison, my day would not have been perfect (despite being ill). I can't stress enough how helpful she was and how it made my wedding planning so much easier just having her at my side. I was also planning the wedding from New York, so having her coordinate vendor meetings was key. We miss working with Alison but still keep in touch. Alison's pricing is incredibly fair also. She has great relationships with vendors, too, so she can point you in the right direction when it comes to selecting the various vendors that you will need. Work with Alison and you will see what I am writing about. Exceptional service - fabulous value! Abigail and Dipen - very happily married and owing part of that to Alison/Elegant Aura!

best, decision we made was to have Alison and Elegant Auras as part of our big day. She is well-organized, sincere and creative. Alison always had prompt answers to my questions and provided much needed guidance when we were struggling wiht decisions.
