About this vendor
Elegant Cakes By Cyndi is a Reno, NV-based wedding cake shop catering to couples on their special day. Owner Cyndi Yenick has been making cakes and pies for over 40 years, carefully watching her mother bake when she was just a little girl.

edding colors, but the design was simple and elegant. We had two layers, one with the dark chocolate flavor (we did vanilla buttercream for the filling, it paired wonderfully!) and the second was the yellow butter cake with lemon curd. The lemon was not overpowering at all, it mixed with the buttercream nicely.
Cyndi was a dream after seeing all the very pricey bakers in the Tahoe area. Very reasonable prices and excellent service.
Our guests devoured the cake and we finished off what little was left with our wedding party in the morning!

or my wedding cake was unlike any other vendor, it was special. She listened and took the time to understand what I wanted. It was so much more than a wedding cake, it was edible art. Her talent and passion for her craft stood out to me and was one of the best wedding vendors I worked with. My cake was truly a centerpiece at my fairytale wedding. Unlike anything I have ever seen in the Reno/Tahoe market. Thank you, Cyndi, I look forward to working with you for future anniversaries and special life moments!
