Elegant Cakes By Cyndi is a Reno, NV-based wedding cake shop catering to couples on their special day. Owner Cyndi Yenick has been making cakes and pies for over 40 years, carefully watching her mother bake when she was just a little girl.
Cyndi enrolled in wedding cake design at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York with a mission to design her daughter's wedding cake. The happiness she felt doing it inspired her passion to pursue a career in the industry. She enrolled in a year-long workshop in London, England, training with cake artists all over the globe to perfect her techniques. From there, Elegant Cakes By Cyndi was born.

Cyndi was super great to work with and made our day memorable and delicious! She gave us a beautiful decant cake with handmade sugar flowers that were detailed beyond anything we could have imagined. She stayed within our budget to make the most beautiful cake. She delivered and completely set up our wedding cake on a beautiful gold lighted cake stand. The wow effect was incredible! Highly recommend her!!

Elegant cakes by Cyndi made my baby shower cake and what a beautiful celebration cake it was! I was in Tahoe from out of town and Cyndi came highly recommended. Not only was my cake stunning but it was so delicious! I wish she was where I lived! Thanks for such a delicious and memorable cake!

Wow- what a delicious and beautiful brownie by Cyndi. We ordered a 4 variety combo of S’mores, Millionaire Chocolate, Carmel Pretzel and Blonde. They are handcrafted, chewy, layered and our clients raved about them. Cyndi will work to customize the order, presented perfectly in a beautiful box! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Elegant Cakes by Cyndi. I recently ordered some brownies for my co-workers and they were an absolute hit. Not only were the brownies incredibly delicious - rich and fudgy - but they were also beautifully presented in elegant packaging that made them extra special. If you're looking for a top notch treat that's as beautiful as it is tasty, I highly recommend Elegant Cakes by Cyndi. I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

Cyndi is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She was such a pleasure to do business with. She made the prettiest wedding cake and her sugar work is her specialty. She made beautiful roses with her sugar work for our cake. We had a buttercream with vanilla cake and lemon filling. It was the best lemon filling I ever tasted it.

Cindy did amazing on our Wedding cake. We ordered the Blackberry, lavender and blueberry lemon both were phenomenal! She was there for all our questions and helped me make our cake perfect for taste and as well beautifully done for photos. All our guests were shocked on how well our cake turned out and came back for seconds. Highly recommend if you’re looking for the perfect cake for any occasion!

Elegant cakes by Cyndi made both my bridal shower cake and my wedding cake! I cannot express in a review how delicious and stunning my cakes were. Working with Cyndi on my vision for my wedding cake was unlike any other vendor, it was special. She listened and took the time to understand what I wanted. It was so much more than a wedding cake, it was edible art. Her talent and passion for her craft stood out to me and was one of the best wedding vendors I worked with.
