How can we begin...Ricardo was amazing and he turned our wedding dreams into a reality! Also, his assistants were awesome as well! He was so attentive to all of our questions and concerns from day 1. Anytime we had questions, he got back to us immediately, whether it was via email or texting. He even made himself available to text after working hours-such dedication. Every flower arrangement, bouquet, cake and table accents...just breath taking! He truly listened and tied all of our thoughts & visions together to create our dream. Besides the flowers, he and his staff went above and beyond to help us with additional details to decorate our wedding. We're so grateful to have met Ricardo...we have such beautiful memories because of the beautiful floral work he and his staff did for our wedding.

The owner of Elegant Details, Ricardo, took our vision and brought it to life. How do you take the idea of a sacred woodland and make it real? Just start talking to Ricardo. He has a remarkable ability to see what you want and create it for you; from the chapel decorations, to the table decorations to the bouquets. Need to know what color napkins you should use for appetizers? Ask him. Need to know what style of chairs you should rent? Ask him. No question is too small. He sees the details and makes them elegant, just like the name of his business. He coaches you when you don't know what the heck you are talking about. His crew had to set up and take down on the same day. They knew what to do, were on time and were very courteous. Guests commented on how well thought-out everything was, how everything flowed so nicely and how lovely everything was. He created the mood of being in a sacred forest that we could share with our friends and family. He isn't "just a florist," he is a wedding designer. He is happy, uplifting and polite. We definitely would recommend him.

I had the honor and pleasure of having Ricardo as the florist and designer of our June wedding in 2012. Being an artist, I had this wonderful vision of a beautiful "secret garden" meets Grace Kelly style for the wedding, but in a rustic location. That is kind of a tough thing to figure out and create, BUT Ricardo grasped the vision and perfectly created a breathtaking design for our big day. It was truly stunning. I had several guests comment on how beautiful everything was. My dad, who paid for the flowers, felt that the value of what was done went above and beyond the cost...he was blown away. One of the standouts from the wedding was the arch. I gave Ricardo a picture, some vines from our vineyard, and some crystals...it was spectacular with the additions he made of succulents, other branches, and various sized roses. Guests were taking photos under it after the ceremony. It was that amazing. I could go on and on about how impressed I was by what Ricardo did with our wedding, but I'll try to wrap this up. When you work with Richard you first get a man who is very caring and passionate about what he does. He cares about your day and listens to you about any concerns like staying within a budget. Then you get someone who is brilliantly creative. He will execute your vision down to the very last detail. Ricardo and Elegant Details is quality all around. I used Ricardo, Elegant Details 10 years ago, he was just booming into business and he was Awesome....my decorations, flowers were beyond expectation, it was a huge event and it was a dream. Second time, I searched for him, I knew I would be able to count on him even more with all these years of experience. My wedding was to be small and intimate, very simple and that is exactly what we got. He took care of all the details I didn't want to stress over. The tables were very classic, simple, the flowers were beautiful, he was very reasonable. I would use him again, anytime . . . just not for a wedding, this was it for me :) Thank you Elegant Detail for making my day a special one... again!

We met with three florists we really love, and it was a tough decision to say yes to only one vendor. We selected Elegant Details because Ricardo was the only vendor that had pulled together my concept where at first I thought it may be conflicting, but he showed me that my craving for both casual sunflowers and elegant flowers would work in harmony. He got my attention when he stated, "I know what you want. You want the 'rustic lush' look." It was the first time I heard those two words together. Not only did Ricardo tell me he understand my concept, but he started putting flowers and sunflowers together right before my eye to help me see my vision come to life. That was the reassurance that I needed to say yes to Elegant Details. Given that we live in San Francisco and we could not afford to travel far, the in person viewing added value to our limited travel time experience. Additionally, he helped us pull the unique theme of Tuscany. We had already bought our ceramic vases, and he added to the concept by adding slabs of stones to the centerpiece with some lemons and tea lights for ambiance. The rustic, yet lush, wild garden flower arrangement added to the magical experience we all felt. Equally important, he kept his commitment to making sure the flowers stayed fresh given that August was the hottest time of the month in Paso Robles for outdoor weddings! It’s too bad I could not take any flowers arrangements home to enjoy since we were leaving for honeymoon the next day. Flowers were among our top three big budget priorities, and they were worth every penny! We just celebrated our one-year anniversary, and we still glow over the beautiful flowers arrangement as if it just happened yesterday - even though we are delayed in our review a year later. ;)

I am a bride that pays a lot of attention to detail. My flowers and center pieces were my only decorations for my outdoor wedding so they were very important to me. I may have changed my mind several times and Ricardo met with me and was amazingly patient and did everything I asked for. Our tables were beautiful and so were my flowers. Our location didn't come through on having our things together like they should but Ricardo covered everything when needed. He put my moms mind at ease, which is hard to do. Our DJ didn't see a toss bouquet (I had one from a friend) and he asked Ricardo to make one, which he did right there. He really is amazing and everything was great!

I found Elegant Details online because I was planning a destination wedding and was not familiar with florists in the area. I can't even begin to explain how perfect my flowers were! I had given Ricardo a picture of what I had in mind for my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets and I could not believe how great they turned out. Also, I had centerpieces and a floral arrangement for my trellis and they all looked amazing. I would definitely recommend Elegant Details!

RICARDO IS A TRUE ARTIST. HE SAID, "I HAVE THE THEME, COLORS AND VENUE, I'LL TAKE CARE OF IT. AND HE DID!!! MOST AMAZING AND ARTISTIC FLORAL DISPLAYS I'VE EVER SEEN! WAS TRULY AN AMAZING ARTIST, WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE!!!

I went with them because they had the exact colors I needed, but his prices were outrageous! And don't even think about taking anything out or he will threaten to drop you and keep your deposit. Worst vendor ever goes to Elegant Details.

Ricardo was amazing. He seemed very genuine from our first meeting and was very responsive throughout our planning process. He definitely has a lot of experience and can work with many different styles, as evidenced in his studio displays and website. He was able to take my magazine clippings (actually an image we pulled up on a cell phone from a website) and turn it into reality within our budget. He can work with any budget... we were kind of all over the place for a while and we were completely on the same page by our last meeting both style wise and budget wise. I suggest to anyone looking for a florist to meet with Ricardo and work with him as a designer, not just florist. He will take an idea or concept and make it your reality.

Ricardo Naranja is a very talented artist. This is a family owned business that offers a personal touch. Elegant Details was hired to do all of our floral arrangements and decorations for both our ceremony and our reception. The result was just breath-taking! The combination of aqua colored fabrics and coral roses and orchids was magnificent. I gave my ideas to Ricardo and he drew them out as if he could see the picture in my head. He brought my dream wedding to life. This is another of my vendors that I still consider a friend. It is a lovely family owned business and you will soon feel as if you have known them for years.;Again, the only thing I can suggest is that you book in advance. The dates fill up fast. Just let Ricardo know what your vision is for your ceremony and and he can draw it up for you and give you a price in minutes. Be careful, you will just love this guy and the work that he and his family do.
