Elegant Edge Events

My husband and I were able to taste Elegant Edge Events' catering for the first time at a venue open house -- it was so yummy! Working with Elegant Edge was so easy and the food was delicious. We were able to have multiple tastings to choose our menu. We officially booked in 2021 for our 2022 wedding. Despite prices having risen since we signed, Elegant Edge honored the pricing that was posted when we signed -- while we would have happily paid the updated pricing, we were so thankful for this gesture! The only thing I would change is that the cake we were saving was cut up and served to the guests. We had sheet cakes for our guests from another vendor and a small cake for the cake-cutting ceremony. Elegant Edge kindly offered to help save the cake, even though it was from another vendor. As we understood it, it is a tradition that the couple saves the small cake from that ceremony for their 1-year anniversary. By the time we were able to get any cake, all of the cake was gone, including our small cake. Neither I nor my groom got a slice, even though we'd ordered more than enough cake for all of our guests, which was disappointing. Perhaps this was a lapse in communication on both ends, but we wish we'd been asked before it was all served.

We are so thankful we were able to have Elegant Edge Events cater our wedding at the Diamond Room! The food was absolutely delicious. We especially loved having the option of a Mac and cheese bar! We had pulled pork/pulled chicken with slider buns, Mac and cheese bar, cheesy potatoes, and salad. It was all delicious! Brenda was very responsive to my emails and went out of her way to personally drop off options for taste testing to our apartment when we were trying to pick a caterer. I would definitely recommend them!

We hired Elegant Edge for our rehearsal dinner and wedding catering. The food is delicious! We enjoyed the Pasta Amore package for our rehearsal dinner. For our wedding we had roast beef, lemon pepper chicken, Mac and cheese bar, green beans, Caesar salad and roles. We highly recommend all of the food! Our guests had nothing but great things to say, most raves about the roast beef! Brenda was so easy to work with and was quick to answer any questions I had. At our wedding it was so amazing to see Brenda and her staff walking around, helping guests and clearing plates. They are a top-notch company and we highly recommend!

Brenda was a blast to work with! She made everything so easy. We used her for our wedding and she made the whole process from start to finish a breeze. Her crew packed everything up for us so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. I especially loved how she asked if anyone needed assistance with being served a plate. That was very personable and caring to do so. The food was the best! We received so many compliments throughout the night and a month later people are still talking about how amazing the food was. I would definitely recommend her mac and cheese for any event! She didn’t act like a vendor, she acted like a guest and friend! I will be using her in the future whether it’s getting a pie for a backyard BBQ or a caterer for an event! :)

We loved our whole experience with Brenda and the entire staff at Elegant Edge. 10/10 recommend using them for your wedding! We used them for our brunch wedding reception and received many compliments on the sliders, French toast sticks, and breakfast taco bar.

Elegant Edge catered my daughter’s wedding on October 16, 2021 at the Diamond Room in Omaha, NE. Brenda Tharp is the owner and passion behind Elegant Edge and she was wonderful to work with every step of the way. She had been recommended to us because of her responsiveness and flexibility in designing a menu that was delicious, unique and special. She lived up to the high accolades and was instrumental in helping us host an amazing reception. Instead of a traditional buffet, we opted for 3 food stations themed out to reflect our new blended family. My new son-in-law comes from a big Filipino family with wonderful food traditions. Brenda took some family recipes for chicken adobo and bbq pork skewers and did a fantastic job of cooking them at scale. We also ordered some of Brenda’a specialties, including a melt in your mouth savory roast beef and mashed potatoes in martini shooters that was a crowd favorite. Our third station was a pasta station with mix-ins to accommodate some of our vegetarian friends and she didn’t disappoint with delicious sauteed mushrooms and roasted vegetables. In addition to being excited to work with us on the perfect menu, Brenda brings a wealth of experience and background in all aspects of catering and event management and became a trusted source of input throughout the process. Once the reception started, I had complete confidence that everything would happen on time and be done with attention to every detail. That included bussing the tables and cleaning up throughout the evening so that the clean up at the end of the night went smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend Brenda and Elegant Edge for wedding or any other event catering. The menu options are diverse and delicious, the service is timely, efficient and well executed and Brenda is a delight to work with. I considered her a friend by the time we were celebrating the evening and I look forward to the opportunity to work with her again. Thank you Brenda!

My Husband and I had very unique menu choices for our wedding and Brenda and her team executed it very well. Everyone kept talking about the Roast beef and the roasted veggies. Everything was tasty and the entire process was stress free. Thank you so much 💓

Brenda and her staff were amazing to work with. Professional & kind. They went above and beyond for our wedding. Especially during a pandemic, I was very impressed with how they handled COVID. They made our wedding feeling that much safer during these uncertain times with the precautions they took. We got SO MANY compliments on the food also! We are so glad we chose Elegant Edge and we would recommend them to anyone!

Brenda was so wonderful to work with and went over and above to make certain the wedding for our children was amazing. She is on top of things and is connected with so many other greats business to cover all aspects of the wedding from flowers, to the DJ to the food and setup. I would highly recommend Brenda and her team. Our children’s wedding reception and dance was extra special because of all Brenda and others did.

With all of the craziness of covid, Brenda was super helpful in making last minute updates to our menu and helping our reception run smoothly. The food tasted amazing and she helped mixed our batch cocktails which were a big hit!

Wow!! I can not say enough about how awesome Brenda and her staff at Elegant Edge Events were for my daughters wedding ! Brenda went above and beyond to calm this mother of the brides nerves, I called or texted her many times with my concerns and she was always quick to respond !! We used elegant edge catering for our event of about 200 people. Brenda and her staff did a phenomenal job. She had plenty of food. We ordered roast beef and potatoes. It was some of the best roast beef we’ve eaten. She went Above our expectations when she helped get the tables ready once the ceremony started by lighting candles, dishing up our cheese curds and putting cookies out on the trees at the cake table. Elegant Edge was very organized and had very friendly helpful staff. Ahead of time she was always quick with her responses whenever we had questions. She helped us work through all the details of our daughters wedding. She helped us work within our budget and gave us different options. I can’t recommend her enough. Thanks Brenda and staff for helping us enjoy our daughters day by taking the load off us. We were able to relax and know that everything was being run well.

Amazing catering! The food was delicious! We had a hard time decide what to serve because everything was so good! Lots of compliments from guests as well. Their staff was great at getting everything set up and running smoothly. Brenda (the owner) made sure we had everything planned out like we wanted ahead of time and I didn’t have to worry about anything that night. Brenda was also our DJ and she did a superb job! Everyone loved her photo game and now we have pictures with everyone there!
