Britt & Jay are the real deal! From our consult appointment to wedding night, we were super impressed with them every step of the way. In February, we had our engagement shoot with them at Longwood Gardens on a snowy day. All of us were freezing, but Britt & Jay made it such a fun experience we barely noticed the cold. Those photos turned out amazing, which made us even more excited for our wedding photos! A month before our wedding, we met to go over the day of timeline. They have it down to a science! As someone who is very detail oriented, I was pleasantly surprised with how detailed our meeting was. Britt made sure to cover every single thing imaginable. Once wedding day arrived, everything seemed seamless. We opted for a first look with private vows. This allowed us to take almost all of our family portraits before the ceremony so that we could sneak away during cocktail hour for our portraits on the nearby pier. Once again, we were met with crazy weather (windstorm this time) and all of us laughed through the cold — it was so much fun! We first met Britt and Jason at a wedding expo and I knew within the first few minutes of talking with them, that I wanted them to capture our wedding day! They are so down to earth and personable that I didn’t feel the need to speak to anyone else! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, friendly, and so easy to work with. Their ability to navigate high stress situations and time constraints and still deliver high quality work is surely impressive! They took the time to get to know us and our vision for the day, and it truly shows in each and every photo. They were everywhere we needed them to be and blended in seamlessly, never feeling intrusive. They captured all the candid, intimate moments as well as the classic shots we wanted with family and friends. Their knowledge and skill for photography has made every photo we’ve seen so far, look like it came from a magazine! We received many sneak peek photos as well as a short clip of our wedding video faster than we anticipated, and we were blown away by the quality and artistry in each shot. They managed to capture not only the beauty of the day but also the emotion. Every time we look at the photos and video clip, we’re transported back to that moment. We originally met Britt and Jay at a bridal expo we attended with my mom and as soon as we left she said “did you see how beautiful those photos are? You have to put them at the top of the list!” And mamas are always right! We were in contact with Britt and Jay via email and right off the bat the communication was amazing, very quick responses and they answered all my questions immediately. We inquired about the date we were interested in and sent our deposit in right away, we were so impressed with the pictures on their website and Facebook! Flash forward to our engagement photos, I was nervous because I am extremely shy and slightly awkward and my husband is very outgoing, Britt and Jay kept us laughing, bubbly, and smiling from the second we started until we finished! It was such a great experience, and we ended up getting a nail in our tire after session, and they texted us making sure we made it home afterward. The communication in between that session and our 30 day meeting was very good and we were blown away with our engagement photos. I let Britt and Jay know at our 30-day meeting that my mom was very ill and I was struggling with the wedding planning aspect, they were extremely accommodating, comforting, helpful and supportive. We were able to tentatively make a plan for making things easiest for my mom the day of the wedding and getting all the photos I wanted. Unfortunately shortly after that meeting I had to let Britt and Jay know that my mom had passed away and I had to postpone confirming some minor details with them but they were nothing less than compassionate and understanding. On the day of the wedding, Britt and Jay were so positive and uplifting, helping me ease my nerves and anxiety. They continually reminded me that I was strong, beautiful, and kept us on time the entire day to keep the stress away and made sure my husband and I enjoyed the best day of our lives. Their attention to detail is immaculate, from making sure my hair and makeup was perfect, making sure we were both comfortable and didn’t make me walk in my heels more than I needed, making sure the bugs stayed out of my dress, and making sure they took every single opportunity for an amazing photo they had. We are truly blessed to have found Britt and Jay they are so talented, high-spirited, hilarious, and just overall amazing individuals. We just received our wedding video highlight film and OMG I feel like a movie star, truly. It is so beautiful and took us right back to the day we started this new chapter as husband and wife, we are forever customers! I can’t wait for future photo sessions with them!

For someone who wasn't super comfortable in front of the camera, both Britt and Jason made me feel confident during our engagement session which led to a flawless wedding day. We booked Britt and her team for our wedding. The engagement shoot she put together for us really blew us away. She listened to all my requests, had such professional equipment and the nicest team to work with. The best part was definitely seeing the video made from our shoot.
