He made us feel so comfortable and kept the mode light and stress free. They absolutely made our day special, not just because of the beautiful footage they got (I got some sneak peaks within 24 hours!!!) but because they were the best people to have by our side from beginning to end of our day. Prior to the wedding they were very thorough in talking through our vision and building a timeline with us. They had amazing communication! They truly went above and beyond. Their attention to detail is also phenomenal- from making sure guys suits looked good, to necklaces being perfect, no little detail goes unnoticed. The photography timeline she constructed was realistic and thoughtful - ensuring we had time built in for time together as well as time to just take a minute and enjoy the moment - and it became the basis for the timeline any of our other vendors needed. We had a "first song" karaoke duet, and they had multiple cameras set up with extra mics attached to the karaoke mics that attached to their equipment. They also had us read our personalized vows alone before the ceremony to make sure that we had clean audio for the highlight video. I can't recommend this team enough. They went above and beyond on our day to make sure that everything was captured exactly how we wanted it to be.

them at Longwood Gardens on a snowy day. All of us were freezing, but Britt & Jay made it such a fun experience we barely noticed the cold. Those photos turned out amazing, which made us even more excited for our wedding photos! A month before our wedding, we met to go over the day of timeline. They have it down to a science! As someone who is very detail oriented, I was pleasantly surprised with how detailed our meeting was. Britt made sure to cover every single thing imaginable. Once wedding day arrived, everything seemed seamless. We opted for a first look with private vows. This allowed us to take almost all of our family portraits before the ceremony so that we could sneak away during cocktail hour for our portraits on the nearby pier. Once again, we were met with crazy weather (windstorm this time) and all of us laughed through the cold — it was so much fun! We were in contact with Britt and Jay via email and right off the bat the communication was amazing, very quick responses and they answered all my questions immediately. We inquired about the date we were interested in and sent our deposit in right away, we were so impressed with the pictures on their website and Facebook! Flash forward to our engagement photos, I was nervous because I am extremely shy and slightly awkward and my husband is very outgoing, Britt and Jay kept us laughing, bubbly, and smiling from the second we started until we finished! It was such a great experience, and we ended up getting a nail in our tire after session, and they texted us making sure we made it home afterward. The communication in between that session and our 30 day meeting was very good and we were blown away with our engagement photos. I let Britt and Jay know at our 30-day meeting that my mom was very ill and I was struggling with the wedding planning aspect, they were extremely accommodating, comforting, helpful and supportive. We were able to tentatively make a plan for making things easiest for my mom the day of the wedding and getting all the photos I wanted. Unfortunately shortly after that meeting I had to let Britt and Jay know that my mom had passed away and I had to postpone confirming some minor details with them but they were nothing less than compassionate and understanding. On the day of the wedding, Britt and Jay were so positive and uplifting, helping me ease my nerves and anxiety. They continually reminded me that I was strong, beautiful, and kept us on time the entire day to keep the stress away and made sure my husband and I enjoyed the best day of our lives. Their attention to detail is immaculate, from making sure my hair and makeup was perfect, making sure we were both comfortable and didn’t make me walk in my heels more than I needed, making sure the bugs stayed out of my dress, and making sure they took every single opportunity for an amazing photo they had. We are truly blessed to have found Britt and Jay they are so talented, high-spirited, hilarious, and just overall amazing individuals. We just received our wedding video highlight film and OMG I feel like a movie star, truly. With Britt, you get her husband Jay, and they are both fantastic and incredibly professional. From the initial conversation about what we were looking for through getting my printed photos I was genuinely happy with Elegant Exposures. With the package we got an engagement shoot which helped us to build that comfort with Britt and Jay but also with the camera and posing. My (now) husband was hesitant going into the engagement shoot but had admitted afterwards it was a fun time. He even remembered some of the tips Britt gave him on the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding Britt was there with me from the time we got to the venue, she wasn't just there for the pictures but truly helped to make the day stress-less. She thought of things, poses, and memories that I couldn't think about. The church lighting was low and they wouldn't allow flash photography but she made it work and the pictures turned out gorgeous (and truly highlight the beauty of our church). When we got completed online album I looked at every photo and got to relive the day because of her work. Looking at the photos I thought how did she get this angle and this angle at the same moment. She's not a photo ninja (well she is) but I was only paying attention to Britt and forgot that Jay was also getting pictures. Short version - most of the photos were very pleasant surprises.
