I found my dream dress at Elegant Forever! I went on multiple dress shopping appointments around town and the experience I had at Elegant Forever was unmatched. The boutique is private and intimate; it’s by appt only and I was the only bride there. Laura the owner was SO accommodating. I told her over the phone the vibe I was thinking for my dress, and when I came for my appt she had pulled at least 5 different dresses, all of which completely hit the mark, and also pulled me a unique dress unlike anything I’d seen that ended up being what I went with! Alterations also were perfect. They worked with my schedule and the dress fit like a glove when I took it home. All in all, Laura is the sweetest most caring bridal consultant you’ll meet, and she’ll make sure you look perfect on your big day.

Laura was so wonderful to work with! I honestly did not have high hopes on my first apointment because i had been to 10 other shops looking for a dress that i didn't think existed. I went to david's bridal and found nothing, i had gotten so frustrated that i even considered a custom "build a dress" online. However when Laura asked me what I was thinking for my dress, she pulled out a couple of dresses and the first dress she put me in was THE DRESS. I still wanted to try out a few more, and they had almost the exact "build a dress" design that i was considering. But when i got back into my dress I was so happy and absolutely blown away. The alterations were so easy and made it mine even more. I could not have been more happy with my experience.

This is hands down the best bridal boutique in the area! I would recommend to all brides looking for their perfect dress. From the beginning when I scheduled my initial appointment Laura was super attentive and we exchanged text messages so she knew what kind of dresses I was looking for, and then when I got there, my perfect dress was already out and the 3rd one I tried on! And the alterations process was easy and their seamstress Luba is so very knowledgeable about the best ways to alter so it looks just how you want it to. I have actually already recommended it to a friend that also got her dress here and had an amazing experience! 100% recommend!!

I had a nightmare of an experience with Elegant Forever Bridal. I brought my dress in for alterations 6 months before my wedding. During my consultation visit, Laura and her seamstress examined my dress and quoted me a price. They were very pleasant to work with and the price was reasonable. Fast forward to just 1 month before my wedding, out of the blue, Laura tells me she is assigning me a new seamstress who unfortunately charges much higher rates. Even though I had not requested any additional alterations to be made to the dress than what was originally quoted. Laura said there was additional lining in the dress she didn't see during the initial consultation, which she would have to charge me for. Laura said if I did not want to pay the hundreds more, I could take my dress somewhere else. I was completely shocked that Elegant Forever put me in that situation, especially when nothing changed on my end. Not being able to pay new high price, I was scrambling just 1 month before my wedding to finish the alterations myself alongside my grandmother. Elegant Forever refunded me only a portion of what I had payed already, not the full amount. Absolutely horrible experience. I felt that it was a bait and switch on their part. I did not ask for a new seamstress, and it was their mistake not seeing all the lining during the consultation, so I felt that since they made those changes and mistakes, they should have honored the original quote they gave me. They had six months to look at my dress. Why did it take them so long to discuss this with me? It was a nightmare.

I highly recommend Elegant Forever Bridal Boutique. The owner and staff are so kind and easy to work with—they make you feel right at home and go out of their way to give you the ultimate bridal experience! I was able to find a beautiful, flattering dress that was just perfect for me. They were professional, patient, and helpful through each stage of the process, from the first appointment to the final fitting.

I loved the personal experience and attention I received from Laura and Judith, her seamstress, at Elegant Forever. I did not feel rushed and felt that Laura genuinely wanted me to be happy with my choices and to have a beautiful wedding. There were some complications scheduling fitting appointments because I bought my dress so far in advance (14 months before the wedding) but other than that I felt truly satisfied with my experience!

Although I can see the plus side to a woman as pushy as Laura when it comes to dress shopping that was not something that I personally enjoyed. She didn’t want anyone pulling dresses for me to try but her and seemed slightly offended when I didn’t like something she pulled even saying when I left there was a dress she wanted me to try but I had told her I did not want satin. We also had my 3 year old God daughter with us and I would say that this place is NOT kid friendly. She kept reprimanding her for doing anything, mind you all she wanted to do was look like a princess too even if that meant just a little head piece on her. Lastly, she let another appointment in while we were there and had her change in the only dressing room while I had a dress on. So my clothes and everything are in the dressing room that I couldn’t go back in because another bride was trying her dress on. That was my last straw; I was being shooed out of my appointment that Laura was 45 minutes late for. I was almost done and you couldn’t have your next appointment wait in the lobby? I felt like dollar signs to her and not a bride looking for my perfect dress.

Laura at Elegant Forever was great! I went to several other bridal salons, but EF had amazing prices and even more amazing gowns. I fell in love with a dress that was nothing like my vision, but was the absolute right dress for me. Do not hesitate to use Brenda Choy (her personal seamstress) for your alterations. I wanted extensive alterations (slight change to skirt shape, changed a corset back to button back, added a removable long sleeve insert) and Brenda worked complete magic with my dress. They made the process easy and affordable, and it was a pleasure to go back to the salon to see these sweet ladies for fittings.

I started out with a great experience at Elegant Bridal, but it ended in disappointment. I went into Elegant Bridal with a dress that I bought elsewhere. It just needed alterations to the shoulders because they would fall off if I bent over. Brenda, the seamstress, was very nice and knowledgeable. She knew exactly what I wanted and didn't try to sell me on anything else. The alteration cost to bring the two shoulders up an inch each was $60. I thought that was a tad high, but I don't know because I didn't go elsewhere to compare. I knew I wanted to support a local business. While at that alteration consult, I purchased a dress garment bag for $10 because my fiance and I live in a tiny house and share a bedroom closet...I didn't want him to see my dress before the wedding! Brenda took my dress and gave me a date when it would be ready. Setting up the appointments were easy and they were flexible with my schedule. When my dress was ready, I tried it on for them with a pair of high shoes. It turned out I didn't need the bottom hemmed up which was great! I took the dress home with me and then decided that I wanted the lower back taken in just a smidge because when we took the shoulders up it made a little gap at the back. So I called and made another appt with Brenda and she fit me into her schedule, the charge was $65. I dropped the dress off with Brenda IN THE GARMENT BAG for her to alter. When my dress was ready for me, I went to try it on and it looked great! Then when they got it ready for me to take home, they had it in a clear plastic bag. I asked them where my garment bag was...they literally looked at me puzzled and said "honey, you never bought a garment bag from us. We don't have any record of you buying one." Are you kidding me?? If I didn't buy a bag from them, then how would I know it was $10 and pink? And I guess my mom and I are both liars since she was there with me when I bought it. And why would I save a receipt for a $10 bag that I KNOW I wouldn't return because it would forever protect my dress?? I am not upset over the $10, I'm upset because they acted like I was lying to them about a bag (that probably cost them $2). I already spent over $120 in minor alterations and I was a great customer. In customer service, the customer is always right, especially a good customer like me who got along great with them, came in early for my appointments when they wanted me to, and never caused any problems. I had even recommended them to a couple of my friends getting married. They told me I could buy another bag...why would I do that when I already bought one and my dress had been in it that whole time back and forth to them. I dropped my dress off to them in the garment bag and they returned it not in the garment bag. It's really sad that I had to leave there with my dress exposed and call my fiance and tell him to hide in the living room so I could put my wedding dress in a TRASH BAG to take it upstairs and hide it from him in our closet. That's really classy. I can't really comment on the dress prices since I didn't get mine there. I did notice that there was a hair piece selling for $250 and I bought the same looking one on Amazon for $35. My wedding dress cost $250, I can't imagine buying a hair piece that cost the same amount as some wedding dresses.

GREAT service and beautiful boutique. I was recommended to go here by three different venues when visiting the Frederick area. The boutique is a little small for my taste, but very cozy and clean. I was most surprised by the couture lines this place carried- this place is up to date with wedding trends! All brand new pieces and definitely in the business for years now. I made an appointment and went with my sister and mom. The sales consultants made us feel like family. I should've went to this place first before wasting my time at David's bridal and others I won't mention here. Everyone is very professional and down to earth. I would highly recommend this- its hard to find an honest and enjoyable bridal place. This made my wedding shopping experience a piece of cake! *wedding jokes* Thanks Elegant Forever!! 10/10!

I had a TERRIBLE experience here. They forgot my appointment, when I came in they did not ask anything about my preferences or my wedding. The woman started texting on her phone asking how I heard about her. I started discussing dress styles I don't like, and asked to look around. She said no, she would pull my dresses. Then they put me in a tiny room and had me undress. They left the door open the entire time. The dresses they pulled were everything I did not like, except for one (and had mentioned I did not like-). They stuck me in dresses and then made me go out when I was trying to look in the mirror. The kept commenting on my body and mentioning how "cute" I was ( 5 ft tall) . They also kept speaking loudly about my size and how things will probably not fit me-- Im a street size 10 with 38DDD( confidence killer and embarrassing). They mentioned my breast size at least 10 times. Then they tried to stick me in a clearly too small dress. They were really just trying to sell me on something , and I did not appreciate the lack of attentiveness. It was my first bridal appointment and having worked in customer service I expected atleast for them to listen to what I like. Another bride showed up 20 minutes in and it just got worse they were, just trying to sell something quick end the appointment. They rushed me through an entire appointment in 25 minutes. They do have a small selection, which is fine. I am so scarred from this appointment I don't even want to try to go to another bridal salon for at least a few months..I just felt like if they are all like this..I would rather wait..

I had a wonderful experience at Elegant Forever. All the staff were extremely sweet, attentive and professional. They were patient with me and even scheduled a last minute next day appointment so I could come back to see the two dresses I was torn between. I felt like I was actually listened to and the dresses that were shown to me always reflected that. I never felt rushed once. Nor did I ever feel pressured. The prices were reasonable and the quality of the dresses were outstanding. I highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding dress to schedule an appointment with Elegant Forever.

I had a great experience visiting this shop. It is a smaller boutique but Laura provided very personalized service and I did not feel rushed or pressured.
