My parents had wide eyes when I told them how much my photography was going to be for our wedding... I don't care how much you spend with Elegante Light Photography, you'll never feel like you gave them enough money for the absolute amazing job they do for you! You might think it's just photographs, but they do so much more. I say whole heartedly that our wedding day would not have been amazing without them. They are photographers, wedding planners, therapists, and everything else under the sun that you could need, or not even think you need them to be. From getting us to the locations we needed to be on time, to dealing with our relatives who wanted 18 million pictures(and some who wanted to barge in and use their own phones), to reminding me constantly that I shouldn't be micromanaging the entire reception myself (thank you), to delivering an amazing end product that we will cherish for many years to come. I cannot imagine any event they wouldn't be professional, and efficient at. When you have an event as important as this, you want the best, and if they aren't the best, I'm scared to see how good the competition is!! Kyle and I couldn't be happier with the fact that we chose you both. Thank you!

Sharon, Laura, and Gwen did a fantastic job managing unexpected changes to the schedule. Despite me accidentally oversleeping and running late. We managed to only be about 30 mins behind. These ladies made sure me and my spouse enjoyed our wedding day and beautifully captured key moments. It’s nice to have photographers that care and mitigate unnecessary stress on such a hectic day. Highly recommend! Thanks gain, ladies.

After my (now) husband proposed to me, I knew I wanted amazing photos of our wedding. I did research of existing photographers and studios in the Anchorage area and found Elegante Light Photography. What set them apart from others that I reviewed was that there are two photographers instead of one, both of whom work together to achieve the best possible images for a very important and special occasion. I was especially drawn to the "crispness" of their images (as opposed to soft and natural). Moreover, the overall composition of the images feature interesting and unique perspectives and angles. Laura and Sharon are some of the kindest and most genuine people I've met. I am grateful to have worked with them to create an exceptional collection of wedding photos that my husband, our family, and I will be forever thankful and appreciative. I highly recommend Elegante Light Photography to any couple who want a comfortable and professional experience as they plan and organize their wedding vision!

We were first introduced to these amazing photographers by the description "bright pops of color," which immediately grabbed my wife's attention. They were absolutely incredible every step of the way as we went through our wedding planning process, and they even helped us to develop a schedule for the big day itself that made everything run so smoothly and insured we had the exact wedding we were hoping for. The photos they took of us were absolutely incredible, and I could not be happier that we decided on Elegante Light to be our wedding photographers. Lauren and Sharon are absolutely incredible, and I can't recommend them enough!

We are so glad that we chose Elegante Light for our wedding photography. Most importantly, the pictures are stunning, and Sharon's splendid "review video" brought out the emotion in both of us as we saw our pictures for the first time, making us wish we were back enjoying our special day. Sharon and Laura individually transported us around to various shooting locations on the wedding day, and we had so much fun shooting the pictures, we forgot to be stressed out or nervous! They came up with a timeline that helped the whole day go smoothly. Pick them! You won't be disappointed!

Elegante Light Photography more than exceeded our wedding day expectations. To say they're incredible women is an understatement. Sharon and Laura went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was perfect in every aspect. They helped us with everything from little details of our day to big decisions such as other vendor suggestions. Because we had two photographers, they were able to capture the big special moments as well as the sweet candid ones. They were also able to capture the day from multiple viewpoints and get great pictures of both sides of the wedding party. Our final photos are absolutely breathtaking! We had such a fun time working with Sharon and Laura, and they truly helped keep our special day stress-free! We will be using Elegante Light for all future family photography and couldn't give a higher recommendation or enough thanks for making our wedding so amazing!

Laura and Sharon did an amazing job on our wedding! From the very beginning when I met them at the Wedding fair and from that point on. They were helpful with every question that we might have for them and more. They helped us capture our engagement, with some amazing Beauty and the Beast themed pictures that they helped plan and figure out the details. They helped greatly with all the detail of the day for when and how long pictures might take between all the fun. With all the planning they got to know us and ask about us as a couple. I would recommend them for any wedding or event that you want to be captured.

My fiancé decided on Sharon & Laura for our surprise proposal shoot on March 10, 2018 in Anchorage - Chugach State Park area. Since we recently relocated to AK from the midwest, when I asked my fiancé how on earth he found a photographer he simply responded, "I researched numeral photographers, but as soon as I heard the excitement in Sharon's voice I was sold on her ability to capture and enhance our once-in-a-lifetime moment together." Thankfully, Sharon & Laura's genuine, heartfelt and sincere planning produced perfect results (as mentioned, our shoot was a surprise on my end and, as a detail oriented female, I am absolutely 100% satisfied with their work). My fiancé and I will definitely utilize Sharon & Laura for all future photography in AK, in addition to happily reference trusted personal and professional contacts alike.

Sharon and Laura are so much fun to work with! We met these wonderful ladies at the Anchorage Wedding Fair and fell in love with their photography style. I wanted our wedding photos to reflect love, romance, glamour and our photos do exactly that. We are thrilled with how all of our images turned out from the wedding details to our first look to the ceremony and reception fun shots. We had several meetings with Sharon and Laura prior to the wedding so we could get to know each other and go over what we wanted from our photos. They were always willing to help and always answered my calls or texts when I had questions or needed some input. For example; a lot of venues in Anchorage do not allow glitter, sprinkles, bird seed, or sparklers during the event so I needed some suggestions on what else we could use for an exit. They suggested streamers and we loved the idea, the pictures are fantastic! Sharon and Laura also created a timeline to help us get everyone where they needed to be on time. During our ceremony and reception they moved around so swiftly that we didn’t even notice they were there! They even set up a photo booth for all of our guests to create some laughable memories. We plan to work with Elegante Light Photography in the future and would recommend them to anyone else looking for a personalized experience. Our wedding day was perfect and we cannot wait to share our images with everyone.

I had Elegante light photography at my wedding and I couldn't ask for more. I cried when I saw how they were able to capture my special day. First off they showed up plenty early and even went into crazy lengths to make sure they got the picture with the perfect angle. This included standing on the toilet in the dressing room to get the perfect shot! She got my dress and dressing room pictures before, the little decor items and then perfect picture of the cake! While giving the attnrtion to my groom and I she was still able to get great shots of my family and friends present. After the wedding she invited my husband and I to review our day in the beautiful studio and we sat infront of a massive screen and saw a specialized video made for us and photos she took for us after the wedding at a special location. I can't believe she made me cry like that! I love that I can order my photos on different materials including a metal portrait or wooden canvases. I will always recommend Elegante light photography for events, weddings, engagement sessions and bridal portraits. Thank you Sharon and Laura! Your amazing!
