Whether you prefer classical, Celtic, or jazz, they have what it takes to help make your wedding day a dream come true. Owner Nancy Maio founded her first music contracting agency back in 1992. Her goal was to help local musicians find work. She's proud to have put together such a talented group. She loves working with couples to personalize their musical selection, and she would love to help you create the perfect experience for your celebration. Elegant Music Services covers weddings in Milwaukee, Racine County, and beyond. They offer solo or vocalist, duo, trio, and quartet packages; packages include one to five hours of ceremony and reception coverage. A sound system and keyboard are also available for rental. I have played the violin since I was 5, and even after well over a thousand weddings, I love to play more than ever. I started my first music contracting agency in 1992 after finishing a Master's degree as a way to create more work for local musicians, and now I have a large pool of excellent musicians who I know and trust. I enjoy working with our clients to personalize their music, which in turn helps me to stay current with the latest trends, while still being familiar with the classic wedding repertoire. I live in Racine, WI with my husband Randy, a fantastic drummer, and our 3 cats.

Gem of a company that executed our wedding vision flawlessly! We hired a saxophonist and pianist duo through Elegant Music Services to play a mix of elegant, jazzy music and predetermined song covers during our wedding cocktail hour. I exchanged emails with Nancy from initial booking inquiry to ironing out final details, and communication with her was always prompt, professional, and effective. The saxophonist and pianist arrived on time, came prepared, and were professional. They played music well without noticeable breaks or sound issues. Several guests complimented their talent and the atmosphere they provided. I would definitely book them again!

Nancy was absolutely a dream to work with! She was able to accommodate our song requests effortlessly and she and the cellist sounded absolutely amazing at our ceremony and cocktail hour! They made our wedding feel so special and elegant and we're extremely reasonably priced.

Nancy was great to work with and the music was everything I had hoped for. I came to Nancy just two months before my wedding and she made it easy to make decisions and help me find what I wanted. She played some music for me over the phone to understand the vibe I was going for and then the next time we talked was to confirm everything pre-wedding day. I had a violin and keyboardist play for the ceremony and cocktail hour. They were quick on their feet when the weather got bad and everything was moved inside. I was so glad we had them and I like to think they were partially responsible for making everybody cry at our ceremony.

Elegant Music was a great choice for live music for our wedding. We had Nancy playing violin and Michele playing cello, and both played so well. Nancy was also great with communication. Although we couldn’t meet with her in person beforehand because we lived out of town, she was easy to work with over the phone and gave us our own personal concert when it was time for music selection. We hired Elegant Music to play for a half-hour before the ceremony, the processional and recessional during the ceremony, and for an hour during cocktails after the ceremony.

Nancy and her accompaniment did the most beautiful job playing the violin and key board for our wedding at the Janesville Botanical Garden. Very reasonably priced and their experience shows through. She was very friendly and processional. The ceremony went flawlessly.

Nancy and her Trio added the classy touch to our perfect wedding day. She went out of her way to find the songs my bride wanted even if they were not your traditional ones. After the ceremony they moved downstairs to play during the cocktail hour. Everyone raved how it added to the total experience of the day. We hired Elegant Music Services for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made! It was well worth the money and seemed really inexpensive for what you get. We had the piano and violin, and it really added to the ceremony. The violinist, Nancy, met with us before the day, and was so helpful, gave ideas, and even played some samples for us. She was always quick to respond. I cannot stress enough how nice it was to have this live music in the ceremony and very highly recommend it!

Nancy was wonderful to work with. I knew I wanted a violin and a guitar and had one or two song ideas but otherwise needed a lot of help selecting songs that made sense together and going with the feel of our venue. She helped guide me through the process of picking songs, playing samples on her violin to give me a better idea of how it would sound. The day of the wedding we had some surprise light rain in the area when the ceremony was about to start. Thankfully Nancy’s husband had thought to bring a tent they could sit under since the moisture would not have been good for the instruments. What a life saver! We were able to have the beautiful ceremony we had envisioned. The music as I walked down the aisle with my dad was absolutely perfect!

We had a string trio, and it's clear these players are professional quality. The day we picked out songs I was in awe at the skill. While a lot of it was a blur, my family and friends said they did an amazing job at the ceremony, and I will never forget how beautiful the music was when I walked down the aisle.

Nancy was a joy to work with. She responded quickly to correspondence and was very accommodating. We requested a string trio to play at our wedding ceremony and they were able to learn all the music for our ceremony with no problem. We wanted contemporary music, and they did not charge us anything for learning pieces that were not in their current repertoire. I think the only "negative" was that we weren't able to hear how the music would sound before the ceremony, which I may have been able to request, but didn't think to in the whirlwind of last minute to-dos. The music was beautiful, but one of the songs didn't quite carry over from lyrics to strings, so we may have decided to pick a different song had we known that ahead of time.

We originally had no budget for ceremony musicians since we were going to use a CD through a sound system, but then our ceremony site changed. We scrambled to find a reasonably priced string quartet. We orginally tried a student of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, but that just didn't end up working out. We came across Elegant Music Services and they were really helpful. We worked with Nancy leading up to the event and she was great. We only had them play at the ceremony, but we were really happy we booked them.
