We hired Mark (and his team) as our full-service wedding planner for our destination wedding on May 13, 2023 at Forsyth Park & Westin Golf Club Pavillon; as I was still living in France while my fiancé was living in Ohio, and we absolutely do n...ot regret it! Even though we are both used to planning projects, dealing with suppliers etc. in our day jobs, having a professional in charge was a no-brainer.
- From the beginning, Mark has been SUPER RESPONSIVE, and makes you feel like you are his VIP couple, even during a busy season.
- One of the main values from hiring him at the beginning of the process, was that he didn’t hesitate to go tour venues for us, film the space with his live comments about your needs/vision. That in itself is a major benefit for everyone not near Savannah.
- He is an AWESOME coordinator with vendors, you can let him know what you want in an informal way, and he will make sure to contact, negotiate and defend your needs, in all British politeness, to your prospected and hired vendors
- He has all the recommendations you need for reliable vendors. Sure, you can make your own search (I picked my own photo & video team), but any time you want to just have someone tell you who you can trust, Mark will provide, and you won’t have to worry if Vendor A is flaky, or if Vendor B is really good, etc. So not only you know you will hire great vendors, but you will most likely hire people used to (and loving) working with Mark, and that is a good bonus.
- A logistical benefit is the willingness of Mark to convert his garage into a logistic center for his couples. We were able to ship a lot of our décor and bridal party’s gifts directly to him during the process, and that was so valuable! He also has some decor elements left by previous brides that you can use! We used a box for our gift cards and a metal tube to store fresh bottles of water for our ceremony, and there were nice lovely additions to our decor.
- The organization and execution of the Day-of was TOP NOTCH!! What a relief to know you have a very reliable team making sure to make your vision come to life, while you can focus on getting ready and enjoying your day with your partner and guests. Mark didn’t hesitate to add an extra member of his team to make sure the organization was flawless. Meg and Emily were thus with us for our rehearsal and for our ceremony, and these ladies know their business too! Then it was Mark and Meg for our reception, staying until the last minute to make sure everything was perfect up to our midnight send off, and taking care of packing up everything for us to pick up the day after. We also had a very detailed timeline (which we reviewed together multiple times until it was perfect for everyone).
