I plan to go back and upload pictures, but our wedding isn't until next month and I've been serious about not showing my dress to anyone! BUT I really couldn't wait to give Linh a review, especially after everything she has done for me and everything I have put her through! I purchased my wedding dress from Facebook Marketplace February 2021. The dress is huge and had many issues with it, including tulle / lace that had a big hole in the front, no bustle, sleeves that wouldn't let me extend my arms even 90-degrees, a really tight neckline, coney built-in breast cups, very dirty train because the previous bride had a rainy wedding day, and hot glued lace coverup on some of the dress. On top of all of that, I am a little thicker than the previous bride, so the modesty panel in the back didn't even cover my whole back! And even more on top of ALL of that, I found some lace to make a veil... well, for Linh to! It was a mess, but I was determined to make it work.... and so was Linh. I took the dress to her in August / September 2021 (my first photos are from September, but I can't remember if I just didn't take pictures in August). She said it'll take time, so the next time I returned was in December. Wow, when I came back, it was like a whole new dress and the veil was done and perfect! I lost a little bit of weight, but not that much, but Linh made it a little wider without making me look wider. I couldn't even tell where all of the damages were on the dress! She was so sneaky in a way that made it look so natural! I continued to visit Linh on a monthly basis after that as she continued to fix bits and pieces of the dress, and get it cleaned and steamed, as well. Each time just got better and better and I definitely felt guiltier and guiltier, but I am just "one of those" anal, obsessive on the tiny detail brides. Linh always remained patient and kind. She gave this dress her all and I am just so happy with it. I've been telling people it's "our" dress because all of her effort and devotion. It meant so much to me and I hope she knows how brilliant of an artist she is!

Linh was so wonderful to work with. I bought my dress in San Diego (before we moved to SJ) and I was so worried that I wouldn't find someone top notch enough for my dress. It has a tiered lace train and needed to be taken up about 4 inches. After lots of searching I found this place. As soon as Linh saw my dress, she knew who the designer was, which made all the difference for me - she really knew her gowns! My alterations turned out wonderful and my dress fit like a glove!

I bought my wedding dress and was looking for a place to tailor the bottom of it since it was a bit long. I did some research and went inside to see Linh. On the phone she seemed nice. When I went inside, she had me wait for over 20 minutes as she double booked our meeting time. Not only that but when I told her that I was still in the consideration phase, she told me that I wasted her time. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I had bought my dress somewhere else but needed alterations done still. My friend recommended Elegant tailoring & thank god she did!! Lihn is so amazing and did such a great job on my dress! She even help cut some layers out from the inside because it was just too heavy to wear and carry around all day! I looked so beautiful at my wedding and it's all thanks to her!!! If I had known about elegant tailoring in the beginning I definitely would have bought my dress from her!
