. We did get the questionnaire once we decided who we wanted. Pastor Pete had a phone meeting with us, and also responded to our emails/questions fairly quickly. He made us comfortable at the ceremony, spoke clearly and slowly. My fiance and I, who were very nervous at the time, were at ease with Pete walking us through the process. Thank you Pastor Pete for marrying us!

ls of our relationship, how we met, what we were looking for in our ceremony, etc so I was expecting a very personal service. We could not have been more disappointed. Rev. Danielle showed up about an hour prior to our ceremony and pulled me to the side. I invited my soon-to-be husband (we did a first look)to join our conversation and she asked that he leave and stated that she “didn’t need him.” She then proceeded to ask me to change our (very personal) vows on the spot because she didn’t like the placement of a few words (an hour before my ceremony.) We are convinced she didn’t even read our questionnaire/responses until she pulled into the parking lot. She mispronounced many simple words in our vows. She messed up literally every detail, and my guests were laughing at how bizarre her statements were in the middle of the ceremony! I laughed, but was mortified. We were convinced she must have gotten our notes confused with someone else since she knew absolutely nothing about us. We spent hours pouring our hearts into our responses in hopes of having a personalized wedding. We were doing a destination from Ohio so the ceremony was really the only super personal aspect we were counting on. To top it all off, she didn’t even pronounce our last name correctly when she announced us as Mr. and Mrs! It was a running joke all weekend and the only thing we can do about it is laugh now since we can’t turn back time. I’m very disappointed. Please don’t advertise to your clients “your wedding, your way” because this is simply not the case. This was far from the dream ceremony I was expecting.

ill out. A few weeks before the wedding I reached out via email to connect by phone because our ceremony was closely approaching and we had no idea what we were doing! Daniele returned my email with a phone call and said it was best if we filled out our questionnaire first and then she would reach out within 24 hours. We filled out this questionnaire with many details and sent it over that same night. We never heard a thing. The day before the wedding I discussed this radio silence with the wedding coordinator at the Platinum during our rehearsal. I finally heard from Daniele at 2pm on the day of our wedding... 4 hours before our ceremony! Where she told me that she never received our email so I must have never sent it. The email dated over 2 weeks before was in my sent folder so maybe it got lost in space but I did expect a follow up on their end. Daniele texted me multiple times in my last few hours of getting ready to ask me questions and finally to tell me that she was running late. We finished our first look and were in our suite waiting for her and she showed up with about 10 minutes to spare before the very carefully timed sunset ceremony was to begin. We had to go over our ceremony with about a dozen people in our room which was not how we wanted to do things but there are some things you can't control. Our ceremony started about 10 minutes late so we did lose some daylight. The ceremony was really not what we were hoping for. We told the company that we wanted the religious content to be a 2 on a scale from 1-10. Daniele led us in full out prayer which was uncomfortable for us and our guests. Also, she read off her phone and it was very unorganized she forgot her train of thought so many times and it was honestly a little painful which was the last thing I ever wanted my marriage ceremony to be. The ceremony was streamed on Facebook for our friends and family back in Boston who weren't able to make it and we watched the recording later and still feel the same way. Honestly, we had guests asking us if we thought she was impaired. I don't, but it just speaks to how frazzled she was. I will leave this off on a positive note that she did file our marriage license in a very timely manner which we are grateful for.

engagement, etc because he incorporated them into the ceremony, making it very personalized. He took the time to meet with myself and my groom individually prior to the ceremony to address any questions/concerns we had. During the ceremony, he was patient and had perfect timing in helping our photographer get some awesome pics as well as using wit and humor to make everything truly memorable. 10/10 would definitelt recommend!

She insisted they were too busy to even meet up for 30 minutes prior to the wedding, which made me extremely nervous as I was flying in from Texas to get married and wouldn't be able to review the ceremony or even meet our officiant (even thought we were trying to set up a meet months in advance)! But once Pastor Pete took over, he immediately put me at ease! Not only is he really nice and funny, but he was willing to meet up and helped us with aspects of the ceremony we hadn't even thought of! Definitely recommend Pastor Pete!

In addition, he is extremely responsive and has guided us on how to get our official marriage license and which steps need to be taken to complete the "official" name change process. If you select Pastor Pete, you won't be disappointed.

remony, emails weren't acknowledged (unless I chased them up) which didn't fill me with confidence. Then, on the day of the ceremony, our reverend (Daniele Kardstedt - Daniele Mackenzie on their website) showed up late and flustered, and was 'swotting up' on the (very detailed) form sent to Elegant Vegas Weddings around 1 month previous. During the ceremony the reverend got our daughter's name wrong (despite us correcting her before the ceremony started), and she was clearly 'thinking on her feet' throughout the whole thing. The service was meant to be very personalised, but it ended up feeling generic. Even friends and family who watched via live stream back home in the UK commented on how the reverend seemed unprepared and unprofessional. I have since followed up with Pastor Pete who has been very apologetic, but unfortunately we can't turn the time back and have our wedding ceremony again. My husband and I have just had to laugh about it. It's a shame that the wonderful Neon Museum insist on using Elegant Vegas Weddings exclusively, as it seems to be pot luck with the reverend you get and although most people have had a positive experience, it certainly wasn't the case for us.

She called the week of our wedding to make sure everything was the same or any changes we needed and was very calm and reassuring. Reverend Daniele Mackenzie did an awesome ceremony! She included everything we asked for in our ceremony. We really felt like we had known her for years. It did not feel like a generic ceremony at all. We had several members of our family the day of the wedding and still to this day telling us how amazing and heartfelt the ceremony was. THANK YOU so much Daniele Mackenzie! We will always remember our amazing ceremony; highly recommend!

I really like the fact that he could have done anything from incredibly strictly religious to dressing like Elvis! We went with a simple, yet slightly humorous ceremony, and he was able to make everyone laugh while still making the moment so special.

he met with us half an hour before the ceremony to confirm some details, and explained to my dad and I what to do when we reached the end of the aisle. His ceremony was fantastic; he made it unique and personal to us based on our questionnaire answers, he included just the right amount of humour, and all of my guests just loved him!! I had guests throughout the night tell me how great they thought he was and how amazing the ceremony was, and my co-MOH said if she ever gets married she is flying him out to Winnipeg to perform her ceremony :)

ht we would get more of a personal touch from the fact he took that time to get to know us. We met with him in person upon arriving in vegas where we spent more time getting to know him and all his effort really made our ceremony amazing. We didn't expect the actual ceremony to be our favourite part of the day over the party but we loved how personal it was and that we were not told everything that would be said so we were hearing his jokes for the first time. Pete really gave us a unique and personal wedding that we will always remember as being perfect. He really made our wedding and we loved that we had him marry us.

My husband and I have one child each former marriages, and Pete made it a special point to incorperate our girls in the ceremony, and to make them feel special, all while making our ceremony not just about us getting married, but about our family coming together to be complete! I tell everyone how great Elegant Vegas Weddings is, and whenever someone says they even know someone who's getting married, I give them Pete's number! If you want a classy, kind, and unique ceremony, call these folks and get the best!

the ceremony. It was really customized to us as a couple and that was priceless. Our ceremony was short, sweet, and funny- which is exactly what we wanted. Our guests have not stopped commenting on how perfect the ceremony was for us... and I could not agree more!

nes. He really kept the mood light when it needed to be (when he saw me getting tense!). Everyone at our wedding said our ceremony was the best one they have ever been to, and it was because Pastor Pete was so great. He totally got our personalities pegged, and it definitely showed. At the end of the wedding, my husband handed him his check and I guess we had over-paid him. Pete was very honest and told us that we wrote the check out $50 too much. We really appreciated his honesty. Even though we told him to take it because he was so great, he wouldn't take a dollar over what he felt he deserved. I would recommend him to anyone!!! :)

up until the wedding planning we didn't know Pastor Pete but after the ceremony it felt like we had known him for years!

stionnaire to get to know us (i thought great! at the time). Well none of that was incorporated, infact i dont think our answers were even read. We asked for a semi religious ceremony and no religion what so ever was incorporated. Only one of the two readings that i asked to be read were actually read. And the one that was read, she messed up on. I say she because day of Pastor Pete's daughter showed up instead. The repeat-after-me part that i specifically asked to be read wasn't, she read something else. It was a beautiful ceremony because we had a great back drop and exchanged our own vows but WOW was the officant horrible. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe there was a mix-up or emergency... after playing phone tag I got an email reply saying "sorry for the animal droppings ..." ??? which was never mentioned by anyone! and apparently the groom asked to "shorten things up during the ceremony" that is false and we have video proof. Come to find out the Reverend showed up and asked one of our guests what the groom's last name was. After calling a few times i got another email stating Pastor Pete had the stomach bug. That was the first i had heard of that and this was 2 and half weeks after the wedding. BOTTOM LINE! this company is a joke, there are a million wedding officiants in vegas - USE SOMEONE ELSE! The ceremony was shorter than we had talked about, nothing from our history was incorporated or any religion, they didn't read the specific things i asked them to, then they ran away from my complaints and gave me crazy excuses. no apology and no explaination. what a disaster!
