What can I say……Mercedes was absolutely phenomenal!!!!!!!!!! Mercedes completely exceeded my expectations, and my bouquets were stunning!!!!!! FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! From the moment I talked with her, I knew I wanted to work with her. We had several phone conversations because she wanted to make sure I was completely happy with my bouquets. She was very attentive to every little detail, down to specific colors and flower options. Mercedes was very easy to talk too and she communicated very well. She sourced high quality flowers for my bouquets. Mercedes really brought my vision to life, and my bouquets looked amazing during my wedding day. I can not recommend her enough!!!!!!!!

My husband and I got married this past spring at the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado, and working with Mercedes was an absolute dream. From the start, she was kind, responsive, and so easy to work with. She spent hours helping bring our vision to life, and the florals turned out even more beautiful than we imagined Our guests are still talking about them! Every detail felt thoughtful, and she made the entire process feel easier. We’re so grateful to have worked with Mercedes and her amazing team!

Mercedes was so incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the whole planning process. We came from Texas to Red River, NM to get married, so I all of the planning was done via phone and never in person. She traveled to deliver our flowers to me as well. I was so taken aback by how beautiful my bouquet was. It was exactly what I explained to her over the phone and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank You Mercedes for bringing my vision to life!

Mercedes was super patient with me and the only florist who saw my inspiration picture and actual knew what flower it was (a specific calla lily that is both white and purple)! She is very knowledgeable, reasonably priced and communicates to ensure you know what you are getting. I was super happy with my bouquet & my husband got a calla lily boutennaire!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mercedes at Elegante Floralss! She created the most stunning bridal bouquet for my wedding—truly beyond anything I could have imagined. It was gorgeous and perfectly captured the vision I had, with even more beauty than I had hoped for. The bouquet photographed beautifully and was a highlight in all the pictures.
Mercedes was also so easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She really listened to what I wanted and made everything seamless. On top of that, she delivered the bouquet to our venue right on time, which took a huge weight off my shoulders.
And as if that wasn't enough, she even made a last-minute toss bouquet for us, when we asked. The attention to detail and care she puts into her work is unmatched. I’m so grateful for everything she did to help make our day so special!

I could not have been happier choosing Mercedes and Elegante Florals for my wedding. I procrastinated flowers and she was one of the quickest responses to come to my wedding rescue! During our first call, she was took the time to chat with me for over an hour to make my vision come alive while staying within my budget. On my wedding day, I almost sobbed at how beautiful my bouquet was! I still get compliments to this day and paid to have my bouquet framed. Mercedes is an absolute angel to work with and I adore her work!!! Could not recommend more!!!

The bouquet (and boutonnière) were perfect. Mercedes takes time to listen and is very knowledgeable about different cultivars of flowers, particularly roses. I really felt as if it was a collaboration and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. Recommended.

I was married on September 30, 2023 in Angel Fire, NM and the flowers from Elegante were beyond exquisite. Mercedes was friendly, timely, reassuring, and her expertise as a talented florist was beyond comparison. She spent exorbitant amounts of time with me to clarify, double-check, and reflect in perfectionistic detail her understanding of the exact floral vision I had for my wedding in the forest. Mercedes provided my wedding bouquet (the absolute most stunning bouquet I've ever viewed in my life!), flowers for all family members, my groom, his best man, flower crowns for my two flower girls, and the breathtaking center floral rings for our dinner tables. Mercedes always, without exception, returned my calls and texts promptly. No question was too trivial or repetitive. Her calm, efficient interpersonal demeanor was salve to this bride's psyche. She arrived at our rather remote wedding venue precisely at the time she told us, and in the calmest manner possible displayed her artwork and assisted our caterers with distributing the flowers. Every single lovely creation stayed fresh and flawless through the entire evening of our wedding and reception. Clearly, Mercedes played a crucial role in making our Special Day a memorable one. I offer her and Elegante Florals my highest recommendation. Allow her to make your wedding a stunningly beautiful day as well!!

Wow!!! Mercedes was absolutely incredible!! She was able to accommodate my budget while still making my wedding floral dreams come true. She took my inspiration photos and executed then, only better than I’d originally imagined. Still waiting on photos from my photographer, but there’s no one else I’d recommend in Taos. She set everything up in the ballroom and at the ceremony a couple hours before our start and everything was perfect! Thank you so much, Mercedes! Your artistry was the cherry on top of our big day!

Mercedes with Elegante Florals was amazing to work with. She went above and beyond to help me pick my perfect bouquets and decorations. She did a great job at explaining costs and provided delivery and set up as well. I hired her and she continued to provide great customer service, even when I had to back out of the contract a few months after signing due to personal reasons. Mercedes was understanding and flexible! She refunded me and was very compassionate about my personal issue. Highly recommend such a compassionate florist! Excellent customer service!

Mercedes is a true professional and was so helpful during the planning process. I was planning my wedding from out of state and she was so helpful with flower details and information about Taos/my church that I was getting married at. My mom and I had several calls with her regarding our vision for florals and she executed it perfectly! I could not recommend her more!

Mercedes did the flowers for our pandemic wedding when everything was shut down. So our event had to be small. She made the most beautiful bouquet for the bride, beautiful corsages for the moms and bridesmaids and boutonnieres for the groom and the groomsmen. The flower arrangements for the tables were beautiful and bursting with color. The flowers were fresh and some of the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. The wedding had to be held outdoors so I was able to snap a photo of the bride and groom at an open space at the base of the Sandia Mountains. The bride and groom are in her portfolio on this site. Mercedes came highly recommended by another bride. I later learned that she has the reputation for being one of the best florists in the area. We were very lucky to have such a talented florist for our event even with all the chaos that was occurring in the world at that time. She even made recommendations for other things through her years of working with other wedding vendors. She became not only our florist, but a concierge for other things as well. She was willing to go above and beyond to help us have a beautiful event. We were so fortunate to have had Mercedes as our florist.

Elegante Florals was wonderful to work with. Mercedes made me a unique and stunning flower crown made from blue Bella Donna delphinium. She spent a lot of time on the phone with me helping me decide on wild flowers for my bouquet. My bouquet was big and bright and magical.

I have to make all of the arrangements over the phone since we moved to Denver in the middle of our engagement. Mercedes was very enthusiastic and nice, if a bit ditsy. She delivered all of the arrangements ahead of schedule to accommodate our scheduling. I would love to work with them again in the future.

We contacted Mercedes of Elegante Florals in Taos to provide the centerpiece, bouquets, corsages and boutineers for our wedding & reception event in Taos. From beginning to end Mercedes was extremely professional, worked with us to bring to life the vision we had for the day and was so helpful in keeping within our budget for the event! Our guests could not say enough about how much they enjoyed the lovely flowers on that day! Mercedes arrived right on time on the day of the event and made everything as easy as could be for us - the flowers were fresh, gorgeous and lasted all day/night without the tiniest sign of any fade!! We highly recommend Mercedes for any special event and only wish we were closer so we'd be able to enjoy her beautiful arrangements for special occasions on a regular basis! Luckily there is Elegante Florals. I procrastinated in finding a florist because I just couldn't decide what it was that I wanted. But a month out, it was time to commit, so I called up Mercedes at Elegante Florals. She was so sweet about working with me even though I was entirely indecisive. I was planning my NM wedding from D.C., so most of our collaboration was over the phone and email, but she still got my wedding bouquet just right.
She also was really great about customizing my pieces to fit within my budget without sacrificing my vision.
