ision. I didn't have to worry about guidance on our wedding day, as he took over and made all the magic happen in the background as we celebrated with our loved ones. The teaser video and highlight video he made us are so special. He captured the joy of the day so perfectly, and created videos that felt like us. The music he chose was perfect as well. Another thing I loved was that we did not originally purchase the package where we would receive all the raw footage from our wedding day or a documentary edit of the film, but he holds this footage for a year to give you the option of purchasing later. After our wedding, I realized I really wanted all the rest of the footage, so I was able to go back and work with him to get that! I would highly recommend working with Elegante Media if you want a kind, organized, creative professional!

ake sure he was truly getting to know/understand us and what we wanted out of a video, as well as answer any questions and make sure we felt comfortable with the decision. When Oscar found out that an important family birth may overlap with our wedding date he reached out right away and offered us the option of backing out of our contract at no cost, going with a friend of his, or talking it through some more. His honesty and transparency made us even happier that we'd made the decision to go with him in the first place and we could tell that Oscar would do anything he could to make sure we got the video of our dreams. Luckily there was a healthy birth a few weeks before our wedding and Oscar was present and alert all day. He was everywhere and nowhere all at once -- he captured every important moment from our day, but we could barely feel that he was there which is exactly what we wanted. Fast forward to less than a month after our wedding and we have already received our wedding video -- and it is phenomenal!! Despite going through a busy time of the year -- and life -- Oscar delivered on everything we asked for with complete perfection in a fraction of the time it takes some other companies. ilms, I stumbled upon Elegante Media on The Knot. At the time there were only three videos up but, I figured I’ll watch the most recent one anyway because what person doesn’t like wedding films? After that video, I grabbed my husband, made him watch it and I told him, “He’s the one, contact him,” and boy was I right. Oscar makes magic happen without you even feeling like he’s there. He took the time to go over our wedding timeline and helped make sure that everything for the day of would flow beautifully. You can tell that he really loves what he’s doing through the films and it was so important for me that, that came across in our film. Watching that film back makes me feel like I am reliving that day again and it’s a beautiful feeling. My biggest piece of advice is to have a videographer at your wedding and my biggest recommendation is to have Elegante Media at your wedding. Oscar continues to get more amazing wedding after wedding and I am so thankful that I found him and that he had our date available. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for such a beautifullyy captured memory.

My husband and I were initially hesitant about hiring a videographer for our wedding, as we didn't want cameras/lighting in the way of our guests or disrupting our ceremony. He was then very understanding as I went back and forth about hiring a videographer, since I had to make room in the budget for it (and really didn't make it official until very close to the wedding!)! On the actual wedding day, Oscar felt like part of the family! My photographer was a childhood friend, and the DJ was a coworker of my husband's, so I really wanted to find a videographer who would fit in with so many people who already knew each other! He did just that, and really felt like part of the party. He made me feel like the most relaxed bride during the whole day, and I could go on and on about how much I love our highlights video. Every aspect of our wedding was in the video, the quality was amazing, and I truly don't understand how he was able to capture everything so perfectly. He even incorporated footage my family sent in from the proposal and rehearsal dinner! You won't find better quality, attention to detail, or care for the client anywhere else. On the day of, he was extremely easy going and really did stay in the background which made for a more candid video. We could not be more pleased with our highlight video and full length video. moment I spoke to Oscar, in the beginning stages of wedding planning, I could tell how well he treats his customers and I knew he was going to be amazing come the big day. Oscar took time to get to know about my husband and I and even offered help with other aspects of our wedding such as the timeline. He gave an honest opinion when I was on the fence about things and told me about his own personal experiences from being in the wedding business for so long. I knew I could trust him with anything I needed. The day of, Oscar was so SO pleasant to work with and I felt so comfortable having him there. Once the wedding started, I didn’t even realize he was around, but the video tells a different story. We chose the highlights video and it is 100% pure bliss. How Oscar took 12 hours of footage and chose all the right parts for an 8 minute video is beyond me, but he did. He chose exactly the right moments and my husband and I can literally feel all of the emotions we had on the wedding day as we watch it. All of our friends and family are blown away, the amount of comments we received, tears shed and smiles made after sharing our video was outstanding. Even some of the “toughest” guys who watched it said it almost brought them to tears. My husband and I have watched it over and over again and every single time we are in awe. I think the icing on the cake was when my Photographer told me how amazing Oscar was to work with and that she was also blown away with him and will be referring him to all of her clients. I know it can be difficult for the photographer and videographer to mesh as they are both trying to capture things, but not if your videographer is Oscar. I keep trying to think of another event that I would need video highlights of just so I can use Oscar again. But for now I will be referring Elegante Media Chicago to everyone and anyone I know. If you are on the fence about hiring a videographer let me tell you it is some of the best, if not the best, money spent on a wedding. The finished product is truly a treasure and we cannot wait to show it to our children one day.

e - he was the guy for us! During the wedding day, he and his team were extremely professional and honestly, I didn't even really feel like they were there. But after, seeing the finished products, you realize he was with you every step of the way, capturing ever perfect moments of your big day. I opted for the two minute teaser trailer, which I couldn't even get over how amazing it was. The music, the clips he chose, it makes me smile just writing about it. Plus it is wonderful to share on social media as most people’s attention span is limited . The Highlight film came a few weeks later, and words can’t described what a perfect video it was. Oscar made sure to understand what was important us and to make that the focal point for the highlight clip. When watching it for the first time, my husband and I cried, laugh and honestly just watched in awe as the memories of our wedding day came flooding back. The full video was icing on the cake and again, Oscar didn’t disappoint. I know many couples are on the fence about getting a videographer – I know my now husband didn’t want to hirer one. After seeing the finished products though, he was more than happy that I chose to go with one and especially chose Oscar, as these memories are so much better captured on film. He provided our highlights film via weblink within the expected timeframe and our extended video a couple weeks after. The highlights film is beautiful and really captured the essence of our day! We are also very happy with the extended video as he captured our full ceremony and all the special moments (entrances, first dances, toasts, etc). We ended up getting the raw footage as well and are happy we did because there are some funny gems in it, haha! He put all the files on a cute keepsake USB and it was shipped to our home with no issues.
