demic was a complete joke. We went thru 3 completely different venues, which then had 3 different plans. The process of being let down by each of these venues Covid restrictions, felt so defeating, and I can honestly say this magical day would not have happened without Mary and her team. When I look back on the planning of three different venues (which then felt like we had planned 3 different weddings at that point) leading up to the day, I am BEYOND thankful that Mary was there from the start. People say, “ leave it to the professional”... and that is MARY! This is her field, her passion, and my goodness she knows how to make these things go off flawlessly. Not only does she know the ins and outs of weddings, her personal support and encouragement is an added gift in her being apart of this process. She was ALWAYS there in a second to ensure she was going to make it happen, and was calm and comforting through ALL the chaos of venue changing. One thing that stands out that I really appreciated from Mary is she NEVER left you hanging. Her communication was spot on, and response times in emails/text was fantastic, which made me feel secure in the planning. The communication with the other people involved was great, with timelines so everyone was kept in the loop! Mary knows the little details that I had no idea needed to be taken care of, and that is where I know I had the best help I could have ever asked for. The FLOWERS! They were amazing. With all the venue changes, flowers and table decor were the last things on my mind. To be honest, I had forgotten the vision of what I had even asked Mary and her team to create, because at this point, I just wanted a wedding to happen! But oh my goodness, when Mary arrived at the hotel to drop off my bouquet it literally took my breathe away! It was the most gorgeous arrangement I had ever seen, and even better than the pictures I had given her of what I wanted it to look like! When we arrived at the reception room, we were blown away at the details I had originally forgotten I had asked, were there... and it was brought to life... it was AMAZING! The colors and the layout was MORE than I could have ever imagined. We loved the details of our sweetheart table and so many guests commented on how gorgeous everything looked. Like I previously said, this day would NOT have happened without the encouragement and planning by Mary! She restored my excitement for the wedding by creating the best day I’ve dreamed of my whole life. I still can’t believe we made it happen and I still can’t stop smiling at how perfect of a day it was! We can’t Thank you enough for being there through every step and little detail that do make all the difference in creating a day that we will never forget! I wish we could have the wedding all over again!

Since we know nothing about decorating we asked Mary to pick out and plan everything. Her creativity is beyond what we imagined. It was like a fairy tale wedding with twinkling lights and all. Everything was perfect and so much more than we could have hoped for! Mary not only made the reception beautiful she provided us with a beautiful ceremony as our officiant. We were nervous about writing our own vows so we asked Mary to write out a ceremony for us. She spoke to us individually so that she could personalize the vows and they were so fitting and beautiful. Mary was also very helpful in picking out vendors to supply our ranch outdoor wedding. It was a private venue so we needed to provide everything from tables, chairs, dance floor, Porta potties (the nice ones that people actually like to use), cups, etc. Mary has great relationships with many vendors in the wedding industry. She was able to suggest a few different options and negotiated fair deals for all involved. Mary even called and made the reservations for us, all we had to do was make the payments. We were constantly asked how wedding plans were coming along and we would shrug our shoulders and say great, our planner is taking care of every detail. We were not worried or stressed in any way as we trusted Mary with everything! Not having the stress of planning and decorating for our wedding we were able to enjoy life before our wedding rather than stress because of all the little things. Mary and everyone at Elements of Style involved in our special day, we cannot thank you enough for the dream wedding you provided. We love your team so much and couldn’t be happier with your services!

She included everything that both my husband and I wanted (including our dog ring bearer and a boutonniere for him) and her many connections in the industry helped to ensure we had the best vendors, that everyone worked together seamlessly, and we even got a few perks added on from other vendors due to our referral from Mary. I had a vision of how I wanted March 12th to be, but I wasn't sure how to get it done gracefully. In comes Mary Bowerman. She knew I was a no-fuss person and the thought of planning something so life-changing filled me with anxiety. I explained what I wanted (looks, feels, etc.) and she knew exactly how to make the magic happen. We came up with a Pop-Up Wedding idea where we would have a back-yard party with a taco-truck, wine, keg, music, and tables with simple flowers (which I later planted in my garden), all fashioned like a family picnic. We invited everyone and said we were having an engagement-party (silk-summer dress instead of wedding dress, shorts and button-up instead of tuxedo). When no one expected it, Mary popped up and got the show going - first by talking about our relationship, our engagement, and why we love each other, and then *drum roll* she sneaks in the vows. Everyone was in total shock that they were at our backyard party to witness us exchange our vows and become man and wife. The most magical part is how she brought the love we felt into words - Mary will ask you what makes your fiance the one and what made you fall in love with him or her. It took me 2 days to bring those feelings out into words - no one had ever asked me what I found so special about my then-fiance. She shared my words right before we said our vows, and it was the most moving thing to hear the love spoken out loud (not to mention, she took away the stress of public speaking and worries of forgetting what I wanted to say). When she pronounced us as husband and wife, it was the most incredible feeling ever. There was no stress, no fuss, no anxiety. The day was perfect and I LOVE that our wedding day was a Pop-Up wedding rather than a traditional wedding. I married my husband almost two years ago. Writing this review gives me all the emotions like I'm telling Mary why I love my husband and what makes him so special all over again. Mary will make your day something to remember for all time. Whether you want a traditional wedding or a Pop-Up wedding like mine, her planning style will bring the deepest love out of you. Her experience and thoughtfulness is the key that will make your wedding day a magical experience for you and your guests.

Mary also knew how important it was that the ceremony be a surprise to our parents and help us coordinate the logistics of how to get them there and when. It was an intimate, beautiful event with just us, our parents, and our dog, Lola. Mary also made us a bouquet and boutonnière and helped us find a great photographer to capture the day! We had the most special experience and I 100% attribute that to the care and thought that Mary put in. We could not have done it without her and are so appreciative! She will always have a special place in our hearts for making this so perfect for us!

Mary did a terrific job of weaving this into our ceremony and told our tale to family and friends. One consistent complement my husband and I received about our wedding was the authenticity our event captured. Nothing seemed too scripted and we felt completely present. We had just under 200 guests, but our ceremony felt like it was just my husband and I revealing our hearts to one another - which is a true testament to Mary and her team of professionals to keep our minds at ease. Outside of officiating, Mary’s team coordinated and provided flowers and centerpieces for our wedding. Immediately following photos, Mary’s team moved all our decor up to our reception site for a flawless transition. We could not have pictured our wedding without Mary and her team. Their efforts made our day even more special than what we could have imagined.

meet. My fiancé (now husband), and I went to her house and met with her in her office. She is personable and professional, and asked a ton of questions to get a real understanding of what we wanted. She recommended SD Linens for my tables, chairs, Linens and lighting and DJ Justin (Windham). I hired both, and they were fabulous, see my reviews for them on their pages. Mary was available morning, noon and night! I could call, text or email anytime and she’d get back to me right away! She puts you at ease, and is constantly reassuring. Mary was my officiant as well as day of wedding planner. Because of her super power, charisma, she held everyone’s attention during the ceremony. I was so laser focused on her speaking, that I was able to BE in the moment and really enjoy it. We had a Star Wars wedding, and she incorporated some Star Wars references for us. All of my guests commented on how amazing she was!! Mary is the best at what she does, but if you can’t afford to have her as a planner, at least have her as your officiant!! I can’t thank her enough for helping to make my day perfect!!!
