Eleni altered my sister's wedding dress and it looked amazing - so when I purchased my dress 5 years later - I skipped the recommended tailor list from the salon and went straight to her. I was having a really hard time envisioning my dress with all the changes I wanted, and then the second thoughts set in. Eleni did an amazing job on my alterations, she was able to change the neckline and she had some great suggestions on how to really make the dress my own. I received so many compliments on my gown and there were no second thoughts on my wedding day.

Eleni is amazing at what she does and definitely a hidden gem. I had a 100+ year old satin heirloom wedding dress that I wanted to re-design, alter and clean to wear in my wedding this past October and knew that not just anybody could work on these fragile materials. After searching and scouring the entire Northeast region for a seamstress that was capable or had any experience with altering a garment like this, I realized how hard it was to find a qualified person that had the ability to work on such a fragile material. After stumbling upon Eleni and reading all of the amazing reviews, I knew I found the person I could entrust with this task. I brought my dress (that was still in the preservation box) in to her for the initial consultation and gave her a general idea of what could be done to re-invent the look of the dress and she just took it from there! She had the best suggestions and knew exactly what I was looking for that just brought this dress to life. She designed, altered, cleaned and repaired this fragile beaded silk dress with such precision and delicacy that my jaw dropped at how beautiful the dress was when I saw it at my final fitting. She transformed the dress into one that combined both my sense of style and while preserving the uniqueness and history of the gown's features. I am so thrilled with Eleni's services and consider myself lucky that I found such a talented seamstress in this area that was not only capable of working on such fragile material and beading, but able to completely transform and enhance the dress to a vintage masterpiece. Eleni is a superstar. Seriously. She took my gown in about 2-3 sizes at the waist, and 1 size everywhere else, as well as hemmed (an entirely lace gown) and bustled in 10 days time. Many friends and family members asked throughout the night if the gown was custom made, that's how good a job she did. She is truly incredibly talented.
