We had an incredible experience having Elevate at One Campus Martius as our wedding venue! It's a beautiful, urban space in an awesome location. We loved having our cocktail hour on the balcony with a stunning view of Detroit. The sound system was high quality, and they even offered big screens for our guests in the back to see everything well. The staff were all very friendly - when we met with Lauren while touring venues, we clicked with her right away. She was very personable, accommodating, and responsive throughout the planning process. Also shout out to Tim who helped us with beverage operations. If you're hosting your wedding here, do be prepared to bring all vendors in. Looking back, we were glad because this allowed us to personalize our day with the exact cuisine & decor we wanted. Thank you for an unforgettable day!!!

I fell in love with all aspects of special events, so in 2014 I made the move to Chicago where I applied my bachelor’s in business from Georgia Southern University to various roles such as Event Sales Manager, Catering Coordination, Venue Sales and Wedding Planning. Fun fact: my team and I once produced a surprise concert with Taylor Swift for 200 of her biggest fans! I moved back to my native Detroit in 2018 and have loved every minute with my team. When I’m not planning events, I spend my free time hanging out with my awesome husband, doting on my adorable pets, Nana & Pocket, designing custom acrylic nail art, and gardening whenever possible.

She paid attention to every detail and made sure we felt completely taken care of. Working with her was genuinely fun and such a big reason our wedding turned out to be so incredible. The entire Rock Events team is top of the line. Huge thanks to the beverage team, audio/visual crew, and security! Everyone worked together seamlessly and took such great care of us. And the venue itself? Absolutely stunning. It’s spacious, elegant, and has a killer view of the Detroit skyline. My husband and I love Detroit, and we knew we had to get married in the city. Elevate was the perfect spot to soak in the views and celebrate. You're guests will be blown away! It's such a cool spot. The location is unbeatable. Just a short 3-minute walk from the fabulous Shinola Hotel, which made the whole experience even more special (and stress-free with no need for transportation!). he venue is you can't leave anything there - everything has to be dropped off and then picked up within a 15ish hour window (ie a few hours before the event and a few hours after it ended). We were able to make that work but it did dictate some of our decor options.
