I will get the good out up front. The video itself was wonderful. It was very well made and of exceptional quality. It captured most of those moments we really wanted to make sure were in the video. Really, great work. The process was fine in setting up services with Stephen; he appeared professional and was very nice. Where things did not measure up was on the wedding day itself and after. There was one non-negotiable for me going into this process. I was clear that I did not want anyone attending our wedding to be blocked by a photographer or a videographer. Although getting the shot is important, I could not abide any of our loved ones being blocked just to have a slightly better angle for a video. Despite my clear request, I was caught both off guard and frustrated when during the ceremony Stephen was standing directly in front of my wife's aunt in the front row. It was disappointing and distracting. The worst time to be distracted. I watched her crane her neck to try and see around him. The second issue came when trying to get the video. Our wedding date was May 6th 2017. We got the video August 24th. Three and a half months may be fine, and we did not have too much issue waiting this long. The main issue was that we had to call, email, and text almost daily before the video was finally uploaded and available for us to download. If we were not persistent, I do not know how long it would take. In the same vein, when it came time for the Doc style edits, i.e. speeches, first dance, etc, it took even longer. We finally received that footage October 12th, 5 months after our wedding date. We finally got the flash drive after daily calls, texts, calls to associates, involving our wedding planner, and finally driving to meet Stephen to get the footage, though I was originally told it would be mailed. Again- Stephen produces good solid work, but I would be weary of the headache of obtaining the footage and lack of awareness and respect for guests.
