him about package options, we selected the “Summit Package,” which included two videographers for up to 9 hours, a 1-minute trailer film, an 8–10 minute highlight film, a full feature film, ceremony and speeches video, raw footage, drone footage, professional audio, and delivery within 180 days. Unfortunately, our experience did not match what was promised. On the day of our wedding, Rob arrived alone, even though our package clearly included two videographers. We didn’t address it at the time because it was our wedding day and we were focused on everything else going on. He stayed for the agreed-upon hours, but our bridal dance was not captured on film, which was extremely disappointing. To his credit, Rob was pleasant and easy to work with during the wedding day itself. However, the issues continued after the wedding. We received our 1-minute cinematic trailer on November 26, 2025, which was 165 days after our wedding. On December 2, 2025, we received an email saying our wedding film was ready, but when we tried to access it, nothing had been uploaded. Rob said there was a delay with uploading. We made multiple attempts to contact him by email but received no response. When we called, the phone went straight to voicemail. However, he would respond to text messages, saying he was in the hospital with his dad. We were understanding of his situation and gave him time. Weeks went by with no updates and no uploads. After months of emailing and asking for the films we were promised, we eventually received the highlight film, ceremony video, and speeches. In February, I asked Rob why only one videographer attended our wedding and why we never received the full feature film, which was included in the Summit Package we paid for. He told us that he had changed the Summit Package to only one videographer, but that change happened after our wedding. He said he would send us a refund for the second videographer and mail us a check. That conversation happened at the beginning of February, and we still have not received the refund check. Overall, this experience was very disappointing and frustrating. We paid for a package that was not delivered as promised, communication was extremely poor, and key moments that were important to us like our bridal dance were never filmed. Because of these issues, I would not recommend Rob Alta or Elevated Media for wedding videography. This was the last part of our wedding memories we were looking forward to receiving, and unfortunately it turned into a very upsetting experience.

autiful videos for friends of ours, our experience since the wedding has been disappointing and frustrating. Our contract stated that the typical turnaround time was 90 days, but could take up to 180 days during peak season. It also clearly stated that any delays would be communicated “at minimum 1 day prior to the final delivery date.” That deadline was June 19, 2025. By June 22, we still hadn’t heard anything, so I emailed Rob. He replied quickly, explaining he had been dealing with a family issue since December and was working to catch up, saying he would check with his editors and follow up. By July 26, he still had not sent any update. I sent a follow up email that day which went unanswered. On July 30, Rob posted a video to Elevated Media’s Instagram from a wedding that took place on May 31, 2025. At that point, it was clear that newer weddings were being prioritized over our past due video and he was no longer “catching up” I sent a third email on the morning of August 2 (223 days post-wedding), stating that if we didn’t receive our video immediately, I would be filing a complaint with the WV Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. He responded immediately with just, “Did you not receive the videos?” I said aside from his single June 22 email, we’d received nothing. He replied that the video was finished & he would send a new link “later today.” I told him we looked forward to receiving it by 1pm since it was finished. No response. No link. At 8pm, I emailed again, saying that while I’d rather have the video, I was requesting a full refund. Rob responded that he was “at a wedding” and couldn’t upload it from his phone. He claimed the video had been sent “days ago,” but I checked every inbox & spam folder. He’d sent nothing. He finally sent a link around 9pm. When I downloaded the file, the timestamp showed it was created Friday, August 1 at 5:18pm, proving it was not sent days prior as he claimed. I replied saying that we expected a partial refund due to the late delivery, lack of communication, and breach of contract terms. He never responded. On August 4, I sent a certified letter requesting the partial refund & included an external hard drive per our contract terms to receive the raw footage. As of now, it’s sitting in his P.O. Box, unclaimed. I felt bad at first posting something like this, but after doing some digging, it turns out there are MANY other couples he’s done this to. Rob has removed Elevated Media from Google Business, disabled Facebook reviews, and is not registered with the BBB. That speaks volumes. While the video itself was fine, the experience of getting it was stressful and unprofessional. Communication was poor, deadlines were ignored, and accountability was nonexistent. Rob Atha failed to honor his contract, and I would not recommend hiring him.

They were also creative with their angles and came up with really unique shots. They were there for the whole day to capture every moment and made sure everyone everyone was mic’d up well before they needed to capture our voices. They were also very reasonably priced for the beauty of their art! I can’t wait to have this keepsake to look back on. I would recommend them to any bride! They were a 12/10

emony and take it all in after the rush of the day was over, and so we could have video of ourselves and loved ones to show future generations. Rob understood these two objectives 100%. Filming the day of was easy - Rob did a great job of not rushing us but still capturing all the moments. He also collaborated great with our photographer - I didn’t realize going into it that photo and video have some key differences on what can or can’t be edited, so they worked together to ensure all shots were set up to come out well in both medias. With our package we received a 3 min highlight reel and 45 minute edit of the ceremony and reception. The music, visual, and audio is impeccable - I am so happy to have our reception speeches on film for years to come! We were so impressed with the audio and video that we also upgraded to get the raw footage from the day - not all videographers provide this and I am so happy to have hours of our loved ones captured on film Thank you so much Rob for capturing our memories - we plan to one day show these films to our children and grandchildren and will be sure to tell them that you are the one that gave us these memories!

She passed away in September, the day before our original wedding date, and our wedding planner let all of our vendors know that wedding was canceled, even sending them my contact information to reach out to me. After that I never heard another word from Elevated Media. I know they're not legally obligated to refund me or even reach out to me, but to not hear anything from them was disappointing and eye-opening. Then, after being given a bad review 6 months later, the owner blamed me for not requesting a refund (like I should have to request a refund for services they didn’t perform) and asked me if a “partial refund” would make the bad reviews go away, which was just insulting. I can’t speak to the quality of their work, but their customer service and basic human empathy are severely lacking.

The day of the wedding they also showed up early to get detail shots of the dress, tux, and wedding venue. Rob put together the video perfectly! You could tell that he spent a lot of time working on it and making sure that all the clips fit together perfectly and all our special moments made it into the videos. The background music that he used was perfect and made the video so fun to watch. He also made sure that all the detail shots of the rings, invitations, reception and ceremony decorations and details were all featured perfectly as well. Watching his final video of our day took me back and allowed me to relive it all over again!! I 100% recommend Elevated Media as your wedding videographers.
