Elevation Weddings and Events

n planning our wedding – from a budgetary standpoint to guest list concerns to the timeline of when I needed to make decisions. Thankfully from the moment we began working with Krysta Cossitt I just felt at ease. Nothing seemed nearly as overwhelming when I could simply turn to one reliable person for an informed answer. When we had a wild idea, Krysta helped us make it a reality. When we needed to cut back the budget, Krysta helped us with the reality of what we could do. And believe me, we had our share of dramas! But Krysta rolled with the punches and brought us to our wedding day, and surprisingly I didn’t have any nerves. Just excitement! As everyone arrived, they commented on how calm I was. What a luxury it is to be a calm bride! There is no way that I would have been the calm and collected bride that I was if not for Krysta – she handled every minute detail. Her timeline and contact sheets were incredibly professional and comprehensive, they were the perfect way to fill in our parents and grandparents on the day’s details (and avoided pesky questions)! Our wedding day brought very unpredictable weather – a blizzard over Memorial Day weekend – and our ceremony site was outdoors! I was so thankful that Krysta had Plan B under control and would make the decision to continue as originally planned (which we did) or move inside. Not having to weigh that decision myself allowed me relax and spend a few specials moments with my soon-to-be husband. She kept our day on time and made adjustments when needed. She found the appropriate groomsmen amid the snowy chaos and delivered boutonnieres. She even buckled my shoes onto my feet! I didn’t need to lift a finger and was able to truly enjoy our beautiful day. Thank you, Krysta, for helping us create a lifetime of memories!

use we wouldn't be able to travel to Ouray for any of the planning. We started by planning a 20 person ceremony + reception, but there were complications with my mom's health so we switched to an elopement package with only our parents attending. Throughout that process, Krysta was super supportive and understanding. She had no problems switching our coordination package. When planning our elopement, she had such an attention to detail and really honed in on the style and feeling we wanted. She handled the strict requirements for our location with ease (we needed lower altitude, but still wanted it to feel in the mountains, my parents couldn't hike to the location, etc.). Every vendor she recommended was fantastic and the ceremony location was breathtaking. We are so happy we chose someone local to Ouray because she knew all the vendors and the best locations in that area. She had so many recommendations you just can't find online! We 100% recommend her, she is, by far, the sole reason why our wedding went so smoothly. I had prepared myself for a stressful year of planning, thinking that was the norm, but with Krysta at the helm, there was nothing to be stressed about, she is amazing!

ysta is very familiar with all the wedding vendors in the area and every recommendation she made turned out to be wonderful - flowers, caterer, DJ, transportation service, rentals, hair/makeup, ceremony music, etc. With that being said, she was flexible and willing to explore alternatives if there was ever a need. Her online planning platform made it very easy to communicate about all the details and stay on track in terms of everything that needed to get done or decided upon by a certain date. Krysta was always quick to respond and address any questions (big or small) that I had throughout the entire planning process which was much appreciated as I always felt like I was in good hands which definitely helped keep the stress of wedding planning at bay. Our wedding day turned out to be our dream come true in the San Juan Mountains. Krysta's day-of coordination was impeccable with everything organized and planned down practically to the minute. The whole thing came together and was executed perfectly! Our guests and my (now) husband and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience which was only made possible with her planning expertise. Krysta was such a pleasure to work with and I'm excited to stay in touch and continue to see her work her magic on future weddings!

g before! Holy smokes, I had no idea what goes into planning a wedding. So, I did my due diligence and checked out several wedding planners in southern Colorado, finally choosing Elevation Wedding and Events. The BEST decision I made throughout the wedding planning process. Krysta is simply amazing. She is feels like a friend from the beginning. She is beyond organized, is an expert at wedding etiquette, has a plethora of fantastic ideas and an expansive network of vendors she can refer too. Not to mention, she works her butt off… I can’t believe how much energy she had on the wedding day! My daughter and son-in-law’s wedding could not have been more perfect and we owe that all to Krysta and Elevation Weddings. Thank you, sweet girl, you are the best!

ed HER to be our wedding planner... Her warm and non-judgemental personality sold me (just from one call). She didn't request our budget before agreeing to work with us (which I came across with every other planner in the area... not OK). Anyway, she is BEYOND organized and has fabulous taste! She has strong relationships with the very best vendors in Southwestern Colorado and loves supporting local businesses. The website she offers you to use is extremely helpful when planning (and you get to keep a full address book which is super helpful when ordering invitations and sending Thank You cards)! When the big day finally came and I walked up to our venue, I was in TEARS & covered with goosebumps from seeing how she set up all of our decorations & just every detail. (In tears thinking about it NOW). Long story short, Krysta is very HUMBLE about how incredibly talented she is with ALL EVENT planning but we will tell the world that we could NOT have pulled off our wedding without Krysta!! t everything we had envisioned was running smoothly. The tools she provides are exactly what you need to help navigate the sometimes daunting process of planning a wedding. We did the partial planning package, but Krysta was there to help through all of our planning. Even though we didn’t do the entire planning package... I wouldn’t have any doubts in Krysta coordinating every detail. Our experience was great, and we truly enjoyed, appreciated, and admired all the beautiful work Krysta did for us. so we would make sure that it would get to the ceremony in time. She also did a floral arrangement for a corner of our ceremony arch, which turned out AWESOME! She really helped us have the most amazingly perfect dream wedding!
