Krysta guided us through the planning process and was incredibly helpful! She was unable to join us for the day of, but helped us with all the preparations. Our events were at the Top of the Pines, which is beautiful yet requires planning for everything - tent rentals, sound systems, ordering liquor.... Krysta worked with the rental company, local vendors and provided us with checklists that helped us assure the tiniest detail was taken care of. As the mother of the bride, Krysta was the magic and helping hands that made our weekend truly memorable.

Krysta was the best! She helped us from the very beginning of the planning all the way through the wedding day, always willing to answer our questions and provide ideas. For our son and (now) daughter in law's wedding we had 120 guests and everyone had the best day. We had everything the bride and groom wanted in a wedding and Krysta helped us keep it within our budget. She got us multiple vendor options so we could meet our budget and offered advice on alternatives when something was just too much. Every one of the vendors she recommended did great job for us and had nothing but good things to say about Krysta and her team. Krysta was willing to meet with us several times at our place (not exactly close to town) leading up to the wedding and give us advice on where to set up the tents, bars, lighting and catering trailers. This made the guest arrival spectacular and the evening flow well. When Krysta wasn't available her colleague Angela was there to answer our questions and was a big help the day of the wedding. Krysta was absolutely amazing and was able to plan our dream wedding on only 3 months' notice. She considered everything we were hoping for and found the perfect location for the ceremony and photos. She had great communication so the day of our wedding ran super smoothly and we knew exactly what to expect. From our first contact, she did all of the networking with the vendors to plan the perfect day. We just let her know what we were looking for and she found somebody that fit the bill. The transition from attempting to plan our own wedding to using such an experienced coordinator was baffling and I'm so happy we found Krysta!

Planning a destination wedding would be very challenging without someone local to guide the process. We were planning a wedding just outside of Telluride, CO while we live in Minnesota, so we knew we would absolutely benefit from having a local wedding planner. However, we couldn't have guessed how much of breeze it would be with Krysta at the helm. Our anxiety surrounding the wedding was immediately lessened after speaking with Krysta. Since we're from out of state, we relied on her expertise for pretty much everything, but communication was a breeze. She knew and recommended vendors who were incredible and able to work at our difficult to access venue, oversaw all of details, and kept us on track throughout the whole process. Krysta managed the nitty-gritty details the day of wedding, which even included some last second changes to due weather, and kept us free of worry so we could enjoy every moment. She even knows how to tie a bowtie. We had the perfect alpine wedding of our dreams and we couldn't recommend her team and Elevation Weddings more.

We had the most incredible, beautiful perfect wedding day - all thanks to Krysta! She helped my husband and I pull off the most incredible last minute elopement: we hired her in late March for our wedding on May 22. Neither of us had even been to Ouray or the San Juan's, so we were truly going into planning our elopement blind. From our very first exploratory call, Krysta was incredible patient with my billion questions (I am a planner and perfectionist so I have no doubt I can be frustrating!). From the day we hired her to the day of our wedding, we worried about very little. Krysta and her team made our day everything we wanted it to be! Our elopement was in a beautiful location in Ouray that Krysta helped us choose. She was very great about listening to what we wanted and right away it was quickly apparent that we were both on the same page after the initial conversation. This made it much easier to trust that she was leading us in the right direction. Her planning helped simply what could have been an overwhelming task. We planned our "micro-wedding" from Texas with Krysta during the uncertain times of the pandemic in 2021. Every detail and need that we asked for was put together so beautifully by Krysta and her team. I even had some last minute issues with the steaming of my dress the day before our wedding and Krysta got me in a touch with a local seamstress that was at our vacation rental within an hour of our call. We had an absolutely great experience working with Krysta planning our wedding. We ran into quite a few road blocks mainly due to COVID-19, having to delay and plan our wedding over 2 years. She was flexible, timely in her responses, and helped make our special day as perfect as possible. She provides you with a very detailed check list that keeps you on schedule for your wedding and can meet with you for any questions that you might have via an online planning/video conference tool. When Krysta met with my husband and I she took on our complete (unique & bold) wedding vision & turned it into reality! She was always focused on our vision & how we wanted things to go/look the weekend of our wedding. My groom and I loved working with Krysta. We wanted a small simple ceremony outside in nature and she provided exactly what I envisioned. I appreciated how she employed local artisans from Ouray County. Even though we decided to elope only three months prior to our wedding date, the process was so easy I never felt stressed.

We had a fabulous experience with Krysta Cossitt and Elevation Weddings. We live in Pennsylvania but wanted a small wedding in the San Juan mountains around Ouray, CO. She handled everything including the Jeep company, photographer, hair, makeup, wedding cake, champagne, picnic on top of the mountain, restaurant, and a ton of other fine details. Krysta saved our big day! Because of Covid Craziness we went from a 150 person wedding to a 12 person Micro wedding. We were in a panic until Krysta came along. She took what felt like an overwhelming mess and turned it into the BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES! Elegant, tasteful, fun, and detail oriented. Krysta is friendly, responsive, attentive to detail, and an excellent listener. My husband and I had a pretty laid back/non-traditional approach to our wedding and when explaining our vision to Krysta, we never felt judged or pressured. Krysta allowed us to stay true to ourselves while also providing excellent guidance and support. The wedding day timeline was especially helpful and Krysta had great suggestions on how to make the whole day flow. Also, because of a scheduling issue (our fault) we weren't able to do our rehearsal at the actual ceremony location, and Krysta handled it like a total champ. I was just asked by a newly engaged friend if I had any advice for her in her planning process - I do, and it's simple. Hire Elevation Weddings and Events. My husband and I got married in May of this year and I had no idea where to even begin in planning our wedding – from a budgetary standpoint to guest list concerns to the timeline of when I needed to make decisions. Thankfully from the moment we began working with Krysta Cossitt I just felt at ease. Nothing seemed nearly as overwhelming when I could simply turn to one reliable person for an informed answer. When we had a wild idea, Krysta helped us make it a reality. When we needed to cut back the budget, Krysta helped us with the reality of what we could do. And believe me, we had our share of dramas! But Krysta rolled with the punches and brought us to our wedding day, and surprisingly I didn’t have any nerves. Just excitement! As everyone arrived, they commented on how calm I was. What a luxury it is to be a calm bride! There is no way that I would have been the calm and collected bride that I was if not for Krysta – she handled every minute detail. Her timeline and contact sheets were incredibly professional and comprehensive, they were the perfect way to fill in our parents and grandparents on the day’s details (and avoided pesky questions)! Our wedding day brought very unpredictable weather – a blizzard over Memorial Day weekend – and our ceremony site was outdoors! I was so thankful that Krysta had Plan B under control and would make the decision to continue as originally planned (which we did) or move inside. Not having to weigh that decision myself allowed me relax and spend a few specials moments with my soon-to-be husband. She kept our day on time and made adjustments when needed. She found the appropriate groomsmen amid the snowy chaos and delivered boutonnieres. She even buckled my shoes onto my feet! TL;DR: Krysta is top-notch, she made our wedding 100% stress free and we highly recommend her! The details: We live in Wisconsin but wanted to get married in Ouray, CO, we started considering Krysta to help coordinate and plan our wedding because we wouldn't be able to travel to Ouray for any of the planning. We started by planning a 20 person ceremony + reception, but there were complications with my mom's health so we switched to an elopement package with only our parents attending. Throughout that process, Krysta was super supportive and understanding. She had no problems switching our coordination package. When planning our elopement, she had such an attention to detail and really honed in on the style and feeling we wanted. She handled the strict requirements for our location with ease (we needed lower altitude, but still wanted it to feel in the mountains, my parents couldn't hike to the location, etc.). Every vendor she recommended was fantastic and the ceremony location was breathtaking. We are so happy we chose someone local to Ouray because she knew all the vendors and the best locations in that area. She had so many recommendations you just can't find online! We 100% recommend her, she is, by far, the sole reason why our wedding went so smoothly. I had prepared myself for a stressful year of planning, thinking that was the norm, but with Krysta at the helm, there was nothing to be stressed about, she is amazing!

When my daughter and her husband decided to have their wedding at The Peaks Resort in Telluride we were informed that we were required to hire a wedding planner. At first I thought… “why.. The BEST decision I made throughout the wedding planning process. Krysta is simply amazing. She is feels like a friend from the beginning. She is beyond organized, is an expert at wedding etiquette, has a plethora of fantastic ideas and an expansive network of vendors she can refer too. Not to mention, she works her butt off… I can’t believe how much energy she had on the wedding day! Wow. My husband, family and I cannot say ENOUGH wonderful things about Krysta. Honestly, I had no idea just how talented she was with planning events when I first hired her... After speaking with her on the phone one day, my gut told me we needed HER to be our wedding planner... Her warm and non-judgemental personality sold me (just from one call). She didn't request our budget before agreeing to work with us (which I came across with every other planner in the area... not OK). Anyway, she is BEYOND organized and has fabulous taste! She has strong relationships with the very best vendors in Southwestern Colorado and loves supporting local businesses. The website she offers you to use is extremely helpful when planning (and you get to keep a full address book which is super helpful when ordering invitations and sending Thank You cards)! When the big day finally came and I walked up to our venue, I was in TEARS & covered with goosebumps from seeing how she set up all of our decorations & just every detail. (In tears thinking about it NOW). Long story short, Krysta is very HUMBLE about how incredibly talented she is with ALL EVENT planning but we will tell the world that we could NOT have pulled off our wedding without Krysta!! Through out the entire process Krysta went above and beyond to ensure that everything we had envisioned was running smoothly. We did the partial planning package, but Krysta was there to help through all of our planning. Even though we didn’t do the entire planning package... Krysta was absolutely amazing to work with! She was very responsive to emails or phone calls! She recommended some vendors I would have never been able to find—and they were AMAZING! She was super helpful—she let us ship stuff to her office so we would make sure that it would get to the ceremony in time. She also did a floral arrangement for a corner of our ceremony arch, which turned out AWESOME! She really helped us have the most amazingly perfect dream wedding!
