This woman is an angel put on this earth to precisely choreograph your unique love story. She was the best decision I ever made about our wedding!! hese nice comments, but honestly........there are no words. Melanie was a gift from heaven for our daughter's wedding. We just wanted someone to help us through the entire process so that we wouldn't forget details, would have help choosing vendors and suggestions for sticking to a budget. Let me first say......the money that Melanie saved us more than paid for her fees (and we gave her more because she soooo deserved it!). She was honest and knows the vendors around the Chattanooga area. She knows who gives more bang for the buck, who is easy to work with and who is not. She was personally vested in giving my daughter and her fiancee the most memorable day ever and she definitely succeeded. Melanie obviously loves what she does! She is down to earth and easy to talk to. One of the most wonderful surprises that we found in working with Melanie was the relaxing nature of the wedding week. I kept asking her every month during the process, "What are all of those little details that keep people running around the week of the wedding? What stressors can we alleviate by doing something now?" She would sort of give me a vague answer, assuring me it would work out. Finally, when I ask her closer to the wedding, she told me that her goal is for the bride and her family and the groom and his family to just enjoy being together those last few days. Enjoy any family that is coming from out of town. Get some extra rest for the big day. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I thought she was crazy. I've never even heard of that. But she pulled it off ! She had the timeline down pat and that last week was exactly what she intended. Did we have a few last minute snafus? Of course. Like the musician broke his instrument while he was practicing 2 days before the wedding. However, Melanie already had several other options to present to us by the time she called with the news. We simply had to choose which option we wanted. The guests who commented on the lovely music never knew that they were only hired the day before! Melanie is worth her weight in gold. Guest after guest (including our rockin' DJ!) commented on how beautiful the ceremony was and how totally fun the reception was - all credit goes to God and to Melanie! Several of our daughter's friends asked right then for the coordinator's name. I'd use her again and again. Thanks, Melanie! May the Lord send extra blessings your way!

r, Melanie was the best decision we made in the whole process. She made the best vendor recommendations based on our budget. She really listened to my vision for the wedding and helped me to make the best decisions for us. She is not only a wedding planner but ended up being a good friend that we hope to see again soon. She had wonderful ideas, for example, I took a picture of my now husband on our first date under a sign that said “You’re exactly where you need to be” without even telling me, she reached out to the people who made that sign in San Diego in order to make a customized guest book. How she found those people I have no idea! She was so good navigating family dynamics, wedding day complications, and supporting us through the whole process. She spent HOURS on the phone with me leading up to the big day, making small and big decisions, ensuring I felt confident in everyone we made. You could tell she really cared and was invested in us. Many people after the wedding said it was the best they had ever attended, I truly believe it was because of Melanie’s help that we had such a beautiful wedding. I’ve heard horror stories about bad wedding planners so I highly recommend you choose Melanie. Lastly, when she was leaving the wedding she found me with tears in her eyes expressing how grateful she was to be apart of our wedding. That just shows you the kind of person she is. Cannot recommend her enough!!

I had my fairytale wedding in the Apple Barn at Howe Farms. Melanie is very familiar with the venue and works her magic to make sure you get exactly what you want! Melanie took care of every detail; big and small. She reminded me of important things I had overlooked. She takes care of the phone calls, emails and even meetings with the other vendors! She is dedicated to her role and puts in 1000%! Throughout the whole process, she kept me well informed. She got to know the wedding party on a personal level and ensured we all were well taken care of, especially me! With Melanie on your team you can rest assured that she will bring your vision to life! I highly recommend Melanie!

I had narrowed our options down to two separate event planners, but Melanie was the one that truly stood out. From our first phone call I could tell how genuine Melanie was as a person, as well as how interested she was in getting to know us, our story, and our vision, even before we officially hired her. Melanie also stood out to me because she would call to answer my follow up questions about her company, while the other vendor did not respond at all. I do not think I was the easiest bride to work with, mainly because I was not the person that dreamed about a wedding my whole life so I was indecisive at times, but Melanie was always so patient and encouraging. During the last few months of planning, and even up to 3 days before, we actually lost multiple family members unexpectedly and had others that suddenly became sick and hospitalized. By the week of our wedding we felt beat down, but Melanie was again the calm during this storm, giving us the space and time we needed, and knew when wedding planning was not our top priority and respected that. On wedding weekend Melanie was a true Wonder Woman, she handled everything gracefully and made sure that my husband and I were the ones making the final decisions. On wedding day we had a few things go wrong, none of which were Melanie’s fault, but she ensured the day was still beautiful and went off without a hitch. From switching the ceremony site and reception flow the morning of due to rain, to finding flowers for my bouquet after the ones we ordered got lost, to coordinating surprises with our D.J., we could not have had a more perfect day! If you are looking for a planner that is dedicated to you as a couple, making sure your day is perfect and unique, hire Melanie and you will not regret it! Melanie is so dedicated to what she does that she was literally texting me about wedding stuff while on the way to have her precious baby! How much more could you ask for? We continually hear from our guests about how great our day was, and I have to give all the credit to Melanie, it would not have been the same day without her. Even my family, who are not easily impressed, loved working with Melanie! I plan to hire Melanie for any of my future event planning needs because she can bring any vision to life. I truly think of Melanie as a friend now, and she was actually just hired by my best friend as her wedding planner and I cannot wait to go to another 11-11 wedding!!!!

We decided to go with the Exclusive Planning Package, and she was really able to tailor her services to our needs. She was on board with our vision through the entire planning process. Our initial consultation turned out to be so helpful. After that, I was so grateful to have unlimited contact with her. Over the 11 months we worked together I was able to get help with every question I had in a timely manner. The wedding planning process can be so overwhelming. When talking to vendors. because she knew what we wanted, she was really able to take the lead with those conversations. With her experience and expertise, she knew what questions to ask the vendors and how to best engage with them. Questions I would have never thought of. Even knowing which vendors to line up in what order. It was such a smooth process. I can honestly say, that if we didn't have Melanie from the beginning, our wedding would have just been me in a pretty dress with nothing to eat and nowhere to sit. Beyond all of that, she was a great sounding board for my anxiety and evening helping me deal with my stressful family. If there was any kind of a hiccup with vendors or anything, before bringing it to my attention, Melanie already had multiple plans of actions. As far as I know, nothing went wrong on my wedding day. I'm sure there were some issues, but Melanie fixed them without causing me any stress. I know, without a doubt, having her on our team from the beginning helped with this. She knew what we wanted, and executed it perfectly. I can't say enough about how grateful I am for her and how smooth our day went because of her. HIRE 1111 Planning and Events.
