about hiring a MUA that had experience with Asian features, but Nina did not disappoint. She listened to my concerns with empathy, and helped map out the vision for my wedding day. During our trial, Esther tried four different hairstyles on me with patience and kindness until we found the one. Eleven Sixteen is a must hire for your next event - I will certainly be keeping in touch with them for anything in the future. Side note: they have the cutest studio; wish I could just hangout with them and chit chat all summer!!

look that I just wasn't seeing reflected in many bridal looks online or from other stylists. She worked with me to create the perfect style and texture for my hair. It is, to this day, probably the best my hair has every looked! Esther also did hair for 4 members of the wedding party, from updos, to blowouts, she worked wonderfully (and quickly!) with a variety of hair textures and styles. Everyone was very happy with their wedding hair that day. Nina's makeup was very tailored to what I was looking for that day, soft, ethereal, and just a touch past natural. As someone who rarely wears makeup it did not feel heavy at all. Also, my look lasted all afternoon and evening. (fun story: I went for a hike after the hair/makeup trial, and my hair and makeup held up well even after a 4 mile hike) Esther's team was super flexible and accommodating with setting up the hair and makeup trial, they incorporated all my feedback well, and really made do with the big Maine farm house we held the event at. Not only did their work surpass my expectations, Esther and Nina were so wonderful to talk to and brought such an air of much needed calm to the wedding day.

From the very beginning, at the hair trial, I knew I was in great hands—not only is Esther incredibly talented, but she’s also one of the warmest, kindest people you’ll ever meet. I truly felt like I gained a new friend through this process. On the big day, Esther arrived right on time, totally organized and calm, which made such a difference in keeping our morning stress-free. She did my entire bridal party’s hair to absolute perfection—everyone looked stunning and felt confident walking into the ceremony. My own hair stayed beautifully in place all night long, and I’ve never felt more beautiful. Esther is the perfect mix of professional, efficient, and creative. Her calming presence and attention to detail helped make my wedding day so special. Brides, if you're looking for someone to not only make you look amazing, but also be a joyful part of your day—Esther is your person. I’d recommend her a thousand times over!
