I’ve been going to Elim Boutique for about four years now, and I truly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Jeanhee has tailored everything for me, from dresses to suits and everything in be...
tween. Whether it’s a simple hem or completely taking apart and resizing a complex garment, she does it flawlessly. Her work is precise, fast, and consistently beautiful. Jean has an incredible eye for fit and detail, and she has a way of explaining exactly what a piece needs, even when I can’t quite articulate it myself. I’ve recommended her to all my friends, and we all agree: she’s an artist. Jeanhee tailored both my wedding dress and my after-party dress, and she’s also done the same for my two best friends. Elim Boutique is a gem!
Jeanhee was wonderful and very professional. She altered my wedding dress and added bustles, and was able to make last minute changes a week before I had to depart. I wore a strapl...
ess dress and was worried that it would not stay up when I danced, but it fit perfectly and I did not have to worry about it at all. Highly recommend!
My dress needed very minor alterations: repairing a small tear and shortening one shoulder strap (the other strap fit perfectly). She measured and pinned the one strap and agreed t...
o put small darts in the bust to cover the tear. When I picked up the dress, the strap that had previously fit fine had been shortened considerably and was extremely tight; it started to tear when I put it on. She told me that it "just felt that way" to me, that the straps fit the same (they didn't), that she had made sure the straps were even (not what the alteration was supposed to accomplish), and that the tearing I was hearing and seeing was not happening. She told me she would fix the unacknowledged mistake by lengthening the one strap, but it would take a week at minimum. The strap was still super tight when I picked it up; I'm not convinced she did anything to fix it. With so little time left before the wedding, I'm left in a tough spot. While I was leaving, she was telling another woman that it was fine for her to wear a sports bra instead of her event bra while she pinned alterations on a low v-neck dress. Stay away. Do not put yourself or your dress in a compromising position.
Horror services. She distroyed my bridesmaid dress, didn't let me try it and check her work. She was supposed to just make it shorter, adjust the lenght. I got home and bust cuts w...
ere up to my neck line. She cut de dress at shoulders and distroyed the back as well. It was a gorgeous mermaid dress. I had to buy a new dress.
