uded an engagement session for us with the wedding package which was amazing. The engagement session came and went mostly without a hitch, despite not feeling super confident in her posing and background choosing abilities. We waited about a month to get these photos back from a two hour session. They were beautiful! Then it was wedding time. The day of the wedding seemed great except for the fact that Elina didn’t really respond well to requests. For example, for the photos of my wedding dress hanging, I offered to put the dress on a wooden hanger but she said no and used a plastic hanger. She also positioned it in front of a white backdrop… which the dress is white so it blends in. I told her there was an outdoor spot for this photo and she told me she already got the photos in front of the curtain. Small things like that. Then when it came time for family portraits, Elina took us to a background with shrubbery and statues in the back… mind you the venue was on a lake so we were hoping for the lake background but were told the lighting wasn’t good there. The third thing was that elina photographed us in front of a HUGE cross, and we aren’t Christian. When my husband said something about the cross she said she’d edit it out. The edit job on this cross when we got our photos back was done so carelessly that you can see exactly where the editor covered it. Speaking of the editor, Elina told me she “got her photos back from her editor” so I believe she outsources her editing which would have been great to know up front but we unfortunately didn’t. After the wedding, it was like pulling teeth trying to get a response from Elina. She gave us no timeline of when we’d see the photos, and a month and a half passed before she responded saying it would be around 10 weeks. We also asked for a preview so we could print out thank you cards to our guests and she told me she’d send it over. I never got previews, and come to about 12 weeks I still didn’t have any photos. I emailed Elina at least 4 times before texting her and finally getting a response. She said she was working on it and would follow up the next day. No response from her the next day. The response time and overall urgency and care for these photos was just not there. I wasn’t even featured on her photography Instagram- which does not bother me except for the fact that I’m not sure she is proud enough of the work she produced for us which could explain why she doesn’t promote it on her page. Overall the photos were great except for the few editing mishaps and closed eyes in some. We will treasure them forever. She was also very sweet and made us feel comfortable on the day of. But if you are looking for a professional photographer who will be quick to respond, know how to pose you or choose good backdrops in general and treat her role in your wedding with care, then she is probably not the photographer for you!

e ever met in my entire life. We're so in love with our wedding photos. they are gorgeous, bright, colorful, crisp and so romantic. Elina captured such beautiful and emotional moments all during the day, moments that may have seem like nothing to some but mean the world to us and our families. I thout this type of emotion was only possible with video but I'm here to tell you these pictures are better than any video we could have had. She was amazing from planning our engagement pictures to the wedding and beyond. tears of joy every time I think about how lucky we got finding her.

excuses of being sick. I had to remind her that the contract delivery date was in effect and she then turned nasty demanding more money (mind you well after the wedding passed) since she changed her rates after being paid in full and the contract was executed months in advance .
We did not receive 1 photo of me (the bride) in my full dress or a solo shot of my husband though well over 50 photos were taken of these images. The importance of these images were communicated in writing to Elina as we expressed we cared more about the intimate photos then “party”. Elina decided to deliver terrible photos of our guests stuffing their face with food rather then the meaningful photos of the bride/groom. How could you not deliver 1 photo of the bride in her dress when we spent over 10 minutes trying to get a beautiful shot with the veil!? My husband was extremely disappointed that he has no photos of himself to share from this day. Not only did she lack on the photos she delivered but the quality was poor. The images looked washed out and need additional editing. We were so hurt by this experience since she seemed to have a kind personality that was passionate about her work but yikes we were wrong. She turned into an evil nightmear.
We reached out to Elina and expressed this immediately, she did not care and instead demanded a tip for her work and extra money. How incredibly unprofessional and entitled.
Since sharing this review on Facebook Elina blocked us which resulted in the reviews being removed and sent hateful texts to me directly. Another case of unprofessional behavior for simply a Bride writing a negative review. Due to the nature of the review above she claims she would be contacting her attorney. Would you want this experience after sharing your opinion for services you paid for in full…? Your wedding is supposed to be enjoyable and all of our other vendors were amazing!

Although the second shooter took plenty of photos of me getting ready with my groomsmen as well as portraits of just me they were not provided. The photographer held these photographs and refused to provide them in order for her to be paid more money despite being paid in full !

ughout the whole year, and when we met her for engagement photos I knew she was the one! She’s so personable and made us feel like models, despite both feeling weird in front of a camera! I wasn’t going to do engagement pix and I’m so glad we did - it gave us a chance to get to know her and see what incredible work she does!! whole shoot. She made me feel super comfortable, was well aware of my insecurities and I had so much fun that I want to do another one! I would have liked for her to be a tad more communicative (communication is literally #1 in my book for vendors) as my photos were about a week late (she had brides with weddings before mine so since I was early, mine got pushed to the end, understandably), but she ended up sending me way more photos than is guaranteed in the contract so it definitely made up for it! She was going to print the book for me, but she didn’t get back to me about it, so I ended up printing on my own through Artifact Uprising. The book came out absolutely gorgeous & my husband was completely shocked. I would definitely do another shoot with her again & recommend for any brides who want to feel confident & sexy.
