Elise was hired for my brother's wedding for several hours which included prep, dinner, reception, and a photo shoot at the beach on another day. She arrived early for the dinner ...
to make sure she was set and ready to go! This also helped her get a few shots of us frantically prepping, which makes for great documentary photos! She took photos of EVERYONE and made sure to include some very candid shots of the couple with everyone too. All the photos were gorgeous! The next day after the dinner reception was the photo shoot at Halona Blowhole beach. At the end of dinner, Elise coached the couple to ensure they were ready for the beach photo shoot the next day, which was extremely helpful! But, the next day came and we had several wardrobe malfunctions like a missing tie, the wrong suit, and even a missing watch... all things Elise reminded us to bring. My brother did not feel comfortable without everything being perfect and Elise recommended to reschedule the photo shoot for another day. We very much appreciate that she was able to give us another time slot and understood the frustrations of the couple. When the second photo shoot came around, we were much more prepared and relaxed! The couple went on to shoot beautiful photos at three locations: Makapuu beach, a lookout at Makapuu, and Halona Blowhole. Elise made sure to get beautiful candid shots of them laughing, looking at each other, and building a story. If you want a photographer who is great at helping you relax while you take photos, Elise is the one for you.

on a beach and the second session was in Moana Falls. The second shoot did not go as plan because it started to rain hard, I mean so hard her camera could not focus. Elise was so disappointed by the rain she asked us to repeat this shoot with her on another day. Not only did she deliver, she went above and beyond to help my husband and I get the perfect shoot. She didn't have to hike up the trail (carrying her gear for 30 minutes plus )the second time to complete this shoot. She could have given up but she didn't.
