Elissa Barr Hand Lettering and Calligraphy

Working with Elissa Barr Hand Lettering and Calligraphy was so easy and I was so amazed by the lettered quote she did for teacher end of year gifts. We had three done, and working with Elissa was both inspiring and fluid. She responds immediately to emails, is thoughtful and has great ideas. The final product was so appreciated by the teachers, who said it was among the most thoughtful and artistic gifts they had received.

So happy with Elissa's work. She created our ketubah (Jewish wedding contract) - she did the design, color, and English and Hebrew calligraphy. She did a fantastic job! We gave her quite a challenge by providing our own detailed border, but she worked hard to use our design and even improve it. She was always very responsive, very clear about expectations and pricing, and so nice. She even mounted it for us and gave us pens for the signing! I can't wait to get it framed and display it!

Elissa was (and is) terrific! Elissa was fantastic to work with on our wedding. She did beautiful calligraphy on our wedding invitation envelopes, as well as beautiful hand lettering on a large chalkboard seating chart for our reception, and several small smaller chalkboard signs at our reception. Elissa was very accommodating with our schedule for both the invitations and the reception. I would highly recommend her!
