Elle is truly a dream - both to work with and to trust with capturing the most magical moments throughout a very important and/or special event. Elle was referred to me by a close friend. My husband and I hired her to shoot our engagement session and wedding day. She's such a professional yet also has become a great friend. Elle spent a lot of time leading up to each photoshoot to ask me what mattered to my husband and I, scope out the locations of our photos, and come up with the perfect game plan. In addition she brought her A-game and unmatched talent for both occasions. I couldn't believe how many photos I loved from both shoots - looking through our photos makes me tear up and feel like I can relive every moment and emotion. When planning for my wedding, hiring a photographer was one of the only things I was really nervous about for two reasons: 1) I'm a huge photography buff and I believe that in the age of the Iphone and Instagram, most of us are capable of taking nice pictures of pretty people who are dressed up in fancy outfits and posed; however, it takes a truly talented photographer to take great candid photos that capture the emotions of a moment. 2) The other reason I was nervous was because I realized that out of all the people I hired for my wedding, this one would be around me the longest on one of the most important days of my life, so it was important to me to hire someone who wouldn't stress me out by being overly intense or who would be rude to my guests (which I've encountered in the past when part of bridal parties). However, when I found Elissa Deline, I knew from the moment I saw the photos on her website that her level of talent was far beyond that of any wedding photographer whose work I had ever seen. And when we met on Zoom, I knew immediately that this was someone that I wanted around me on my wedding day. She is so sweet and so cool - exactly the type of person I wanted around while I was getting ready with my friends and family. As for her photos of my wedding - they're like movie stills that captured all of the laughter, the sweetness, the romance, and the beauty of that day. Everyone who sees them is blown away by how striking they are. I had high expectations for her work, yet she still managed to exceed them with the final product. I don't even know where to begin this review, I am so overwhelmed with gratitude and joy in having had the opportunity to have Elissa Deline Photography as our photographer for our wedding! Elissa is down-to-earth, relaxed, professional, poised, and probably a therapist in her spare time for the amount she was helping to mentally, and emotionally, guide me through the day! Her style of photography is real, and captures true emotion. It doesn't attempt to capture something which isn't there - she finds those gems - the ones where you don't realize you're smiling, the tear that has escaped, or the look of revernence your husband (!!) has when you're in his line of sight - and ensnares them for all time. I cannot recommend her enough, as she truly was a pleasure to work with leading up to, during, and after our big day. We worked with Elle in August 2022 at The Greystone Inn. I loved her aesthetic and ability to capture candids so perfectly. She was so fun to get to know and so reassuring on our wedding day that we didnt have to be overly posed or know how to act in front of a camera. We love our pictures so much! They are exactly how I remember everything. We laughed, we cried, we gasped looking at the way she worked with textures and colors and so much emotion.
