I would consider myself the worst type of client: the kind who gave hardly any specifications and had no prior experience with DJ's, yet expected Matt to give the absolute best grammy-worthy music experience of my freshly-married life. Matt met amazingly every single expectation had with hiring a DJ. Now we all hope that our guest will appreciate the enormous amounts of blood, sweat, and personal family feuds/tears involved to use the right ivory candles, selecting the moistest cake, and hosting in the most swanky yet unique setting (aka every little single detail), but after the wedding the most common comment we heard BY FAR was, "that DJ was so, so good" or "who was your DJ?" Let me advise from personal experience that the music is one of the most overwhelmingly important decisions for your event. Matt was responsive and sensitive to every mood in the room. There wasn't a single awkward moment because of his finesse and graceful transitions. And when the old folks grew tired and meandered home and it was time to get down, he threw those beats out like a rowdy house party (at my request, of course). Not to mention he was incredibly gracious with my very bossy and excitable friends. Matt is 3000% worth the investment; he is supremely professional yet flexible and calm. And in all seriousness he is just incredibly good at what he does. If I ever host another event I will not even think about another DJ. Do yourself a favor a book him. It will be the least stressful and most rewarding thing you do.
We could not have asked for a better DJ than Matt for our wedding! From start to finish, he understood exactly what we were envisioning for our big day and offered fantastic suggestions when we were unsure. The dance floor was packed all night—from 7 PM to midnight—which is something I’ve never seen at a wedding before, and it's all thanks to Matt!
One of the highlights was his live mixing. The energy never dropped, and the music was an incredible mix of crowd favorites along with tracks that were special to my husband and me. I lost count of how many times wedding guests came up to me saying, “Oh my gosh, I didn’t even know I needed this remix in my life!” or “Who is this DJ?!”. It was clear everyone was having an amazing time.
For weeks after the wedding, we’ve had friends and family asking who our DJ was, and we’re so proud to say it was Matt! He truly made our wedding unforgettable, and I cannot recommend him or Elite Beats enough. If you want your wedding to be an epic party from start to finish, Matt is your guy!
Elite Beats did our reception on 9/28/24. We weren’t disappointed! It was perfect. The DJ can make or break the reception. The music was perfect and everyone had a blast dancing. Thank you for making our reception so fun and flawless!

He was so easy to communicate with and very helpful with all of our questions/requests. He provided a planning form that outlined all of the important DJ related details, and the form was actually so helpful in planning our wedding day! Had such a great time dancing with all of our close friends. The song selection was top notch and the DJ was able to incorporate and kind of conduct everything happening at the reception very well by announcing to the audience when certain things were happening. Would highly recommend the business and Tony.

Our first dance was a combination of two songs, and Elite Beats had no problems making the sample for us, as well as having the perfect lighting to complement the songs! The dance floor stayed poppin’, and Matt was great at accommodating our requests. Would highly recommend!

We sent Matt a playlist to give him an idea of the vibe we were going for at our reception, and he ran with it! When I say no one wanted to stop dancing, I mean it. Tony did a fantastic job at our wedding. He really understood the type of music we wanted and knew how to get the crowd up and moving. We did not give many guidelines or suggestions at all but he took the ones we gave and really built an amazing playlist that all the guests enjoyed.

All I have to say is WOW. My husband and I were quite picky when it came to the music and finding a DJ for our wedding but I believe that Matt completely knocked it out of the park. So many guests came to me saying that our DJ was awesome. He helped move the night along seamlessly and the dance floor was busy all night. 1000/10 would highly recommend!

We had a complete blast at our wedding. Elite Beats had *everyone* at our reception on the dance floor. They did a great job of surveying the type of music we wanted to play (for both the dinner and the reception) and did a great job of reading the room to queue up songs. I can't imagine a better way we could have set the tone for an amazing evening.
Ty did a great job making our wedding fun and interactive! We made our own reception playlist that he played from, and did a great job feeling out the crowd with songs he chose. He was very responsive from the beginning and kept in touch as the wedding got closer, making sure he knew our wedding timeline. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

Having Elite Beats as the DJ was the most relaxing and easy going part of wedding planning. From the moment we booked him, until I saw him at the wedding, everything was very smooth. We talked once or twice on the phone about song choices, how we wanted things to run, etc. The music day of was great, and I had lots of compliments aimed in his direction! The dance floor was alive all night with people from my 80 year old grandparents, to my 4 year old nephews! I would recommend him every time, and I'm glad we stumbled across him when we were searching in the beginning. Save your time, and just go ahead and choose him!
Matt is an amazing DJ! He is so good at reading the room and keeping the vibe going strong. He is incredibly easy going and easy to work with. Worth every penny and then some! I already knew from seeing him play shows out at local bars that the music was not something I was going to have to worry about at all at my wedding. Elite Beats did an excellent job at my daughter’s wedding. Matt arrived early and spent the entire afternoon and evening outdoors in the 90 degree weather! He provided the ceremony, reception music and announcements seamlessly and worked very well with our venue/coordinator. He was easy to talk with and played song requests from our guests. We found Elite Beats on The Knot and decided to go with them for our wedding based on the positive reviews and professionalism. Our main point of contact was Matt and we were so impressed with his quick responses to emails and attention to detail. Our DJ was Tony and although our first/only meeting with him was about a week before our wedding, we felt like we were in good hands after having a phone call with him to go over our song list/music preferences. Tony arrived very early on the day of our wedding to set up and to be sure he had plenty of time in case any problems arose. He executed all of our song choices as planned and the reception music was AWESOME! My husband and I, along with all of the guests, absolutely loved it. Him and Matt were great to work with. If you’re between Elite Beats and another DJ, go with Elite Beats!

Matt did such an amazing job throughout the wedding. The ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception all went perfectly. He had the perfect amount of energy during the reception. He commented and announced when things were happening, but was able to keep the party going with just the music! We were so thankful to have it.
PS. Be aware that they will not be present for the rehearsal, so plan out you music for the ceremony on your own, and let Matt know the day of. He is very capable of understanding what is going to happen, just need a plan!

I want to express how amazing job Matt did for our wedding ceremony and reception. He arrived on time to our venue which was a remote area in NWA. He was able to come in on Friday to set up and rehearse with us. He did such a great job in picking music for everybody to dance to during the reception. Thank you for making our wedding perfect!
Tony was an absolutely incredible DJ. We gave him a set playlist for certain times during our wedding, but other then that we just gave him an idea of what we wanted and he was able to create just the most perfect playlist and atmosphere out of it. We had so many guests come up to us and tell us how good Tony was and we couldn’t agree more. We were so incredibly thankful for him and his ability to DJ and MC which made our wedding that much better.
My husband and I eloped but were planning a reception (basically a party where our loved ones could get together just to celebrate) we honestly knew immediately who we wanted to DJ but were worried he’d be booked since we kind of waited to start planning so late, we got lucky Tony was available!
We had our reception May 4th, 2019, we are STILL getting compliments on DJ Shortfuze. Even as we were having our first dance, everyone was starting to get up and dance with us. Pretty sure our guests only sat down when they needed to rest or grab a taco!
Tony (DJ Shortfuze) was incredibly professional, he knows how to read the crowd, especially one mixed with a huge age gap, and I don’t say that lightly!

We had a good experience! He knew how to cater to the crowd. I wish there would have been more announcing/directing during the reception and keeping the crowd going. Other than that, I would recommend. He also volunteered to play an ipod during happy hour.

Matthew worked with my budget and was very helpful. He supplied microphones for the ceremony and lights and music for the reception. Everyone loved the music, and he even played a special song for me and my husband to dance to at the end by ourselves while everyone was going outside to get ready for sparklers. It was so sweet! We recently used DJShortFuze (aka Tony) for our daughter's wedding. We could not have been more pleased. The wedding reception was in a tent in our back yard so Tony arrived early and made sure he had everything he needed and set up in plenty of time. I really appreciated that. He worked with my daughter before the wedding and made sure he got a feel for the type songs she wanted. He even had to put up with my husband emailing with songs he wanted! lol Once Tony got to start, he kept the party going. So many people came up to us after the wedding and told us how much fun they had. DJShortFuze helped make that happen. That was the main thing we wanted out of the evening. When I was planning my wedding, one of the things I dreaded the most was hiring a DJ. I had the perfect storm of ultra specific music demands for the ceremony and no idea what I wanted to play for the reception. Not to mention I had to plan the whole thing hundreds of miles away from the venue. Thank goodness I hired Matt. Booked Matt for our wedding reception this past August. We had a 1920s theme and Matt was able to provide great tracks to supplement our requests to make our wedding perfect. We danced for hours and it was just the right tempo for everyone who was attending. Matt really pays attention to the groove of the crowd and was able to get a lot of people out on the dance floor and have a great time. I recommend him for any type of event since he is so good at what he does, he can adapt to any situation.
