d stopped by to give them the ribbon for the cake and to confirm with them. They needed the picture again. They advised they would deliver by 4 PM. This was important since the florist was waiting to decorate the cake. The cake was delivered 30-45 minutes late. This caused my sister to have to decorate the cake. She did a great job. The cake tasted delicious, but was not exactly what we ordered. It was supposed to be on silver cardboard (clearly circled on the order form), it was on gold. The branches were supposed to be in light green, they were teal. My sister removed the teal frosting from the gold cardboard and used the flowers to cover it up on the cake. I am so thankful I didn't let Elite place the flowers on my cake.

but in an effort to save some money, we moved forward with the cake that was included in our package. Turns out that our venue offered us to try out the new vendor they were using and let's just say we didn't hesitate to change cake providors. The cake was delicious (and we are not even huge on sweets). We received so many compliments at our wedding about how delicious and beautiful the cake was. This was the first wedding where the cake was something to talk about. The only complaint we have is that the cake was not designed as we had asked. We asked for lines in the butter cream and received no lines and dots at each tier instead. Also, the vendor did not bring a box for us to include the top tier to take home for our one year anniversary. There is room for improvement, but overall, we were happy with the product and taste (most important).

initials and it was to be on the middle layer but ended up on top of the middle layer, the writing looked tacky. It was delivered 45 minutes before the ceremony, so left little time to correct errors. The top layer tilted and had holes in the top and was messed up on the side. As a cake baker myself I would take extra caution that they didn't use. I should of known since when we scheduled tastings and they didn't have the flavors we requested. Very disappointed with the appearance of my cake.

for the cake testing, and the options were all delicious! We actually ended up paying to upgrade the cake to one in the shape of a sand castle to match our theme. The "sand" was actually brown sugar, and combined with the frosting and cake, it was by far better than our original wedding cake! Our guests are still raving about it today! I will definitely be ordering from them in the future!

and the door was still locked. We had to call in order for them to open the door. The delivery boy did our appointment, didn t even turn the lights on. Brought us out 3 vanilla rum cakes: 1 with butter cream, 1 with pineapple, and 1 with coconut and I despise both pineapple and coconut. The delivery boy continued to tell us how he had them do his cake for his wedding and he loved it so much he decided to work there. Anyways I left dissatisfied and swore I would never go back. Side note: Went to a Hillcrest tasting and Elite Cake Creations were there, I tried a banana cake that was really good so I set up a 2nd appointment. Second Visit: Again when I arrived they didn t have the flavors that I requested quickly available they had to go in the back and make them and the baker said the person that was supposed to make them never did we met with what I assume to be the owner and the cake flavors were pretty good but they had so many fillings and cake flavors I wanted to try some more so I had to set up a third appointment because they have to make them ahead of time . Also, during my appointment there was a roach crawling on the floor. Less than appetizing. I didn t make a deposit on the cake that day. Third Visit: When I arrived the cakes were no prepared for me. A new employee came out and told me that no one had any knowledge of my appointment or my cake requests he also told me that the lady was on her way to meet me. They brought me out a strawberry cake which was supposed to be a strawberry mousse and when I told them I had not requested this they told me they could not read the request form. Aggravated at this being the 3rd time of coming to Elite Cakes and not having cakes I requested ready for me to taste at my appointment time and that they were completely clueless of my order, I left outraged. Phone Call to the Manager: I spoke with the owner s daughter, she seemed less than apologetic and told me that they have the filling prepared but they don t put the samples together in case people don t show up. That is ridiculous. On 3 different occasions they didn t have cake sample prepared for me, and if that is the case why couldn t I taste different flavors when I came on the 2nd visit, if they are just whipping them up in minutes. Conclusion: I would not rely on this company to deliver a cake to my wedding. They don t have good customer service and I m not sure how they are still in business. Save yourself the aggravation

OVE dessert). For the tasting, I went with my now husband, my parents and one of my bridesmaids. My bridesmaid is not a fan of frosting. However, she couldn't get enough of Elite's buttercream. We all hadn't been exposed to good fondont before, but Elite's tasted just like marshmellow. Because I loved their cakes so much, I also had Beatriz make our groomsmen cake, which was a surprise for my husband (she made an amazing Ghostbusters cake, which was a chocolate cake filled with cookies and cream icing covered in fondont). Both our wedding cake and groomscake were devouered and many compliments were given on the lines of "this is the best wedding cake we have ever had!" and I agree!
