My wife and I got married this past January at The Steam Plant who partners with Elite Catering. We could not say enough great things about Elite Catering! We were paired with Ariell who was a joy to work with over the year until the wedding day, answering all of our questions as they came in, doing check ins with us via zoom as we lived out of town, and making us feeling completely ready for our big day. We also had Rachel on the morning of our wedding who continually checked in on us as we were getting ready if there was anything we needed. The food was just as good as we remembered it from our tasting! Many of our guests enjoyed the food as well but were raving about the flaming donut bar we did that Elite catering offers! Highly recommend!

r proposal item by item several times throughout the wedding planning process to make sure it is exactly what you want. We changed our minds quite a bit due to budget changes and our guests' strict dietary restrictions, and no questions were asked - they accommodated immediately. We had a hodge podge of gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, kosher, etc. guests attending our wedding. There were plenty of options to choose from to ensure everyone was accounted for. The bartenders were a hit (we provided the alcohol, and the bartenders served) - we heard from everyone how incredible the drinks were, and everyone was served super quickly. The waiters were also super attentive, and water glasses were never less than half full. They were absolutely amazing.
Zabrina was our main point of contact throughout the wedding planning process. She was the one writing and re-writing our proposal, answering all of our questions, helping us through our tasting, guiding our wedding day timeline, and everything in between. She was on top of everything. She was super fast at responding to emails, helped us with all of our dietary restrictions, made sure all of our questions were answered, and truly relieved a ton of wedding stress regarding the food (the most important and most stressful part!!) by being so good at her job. Zabrina went above and beyond to help us.... we had a couple of snafus on our part, and she couldn't have been more accommodating. Driving to meet me for a pickup and calling around on a Sunday to handle things that were not even directly related to her job or company was so incredibly appreciated. She truly wants the best for the bride, groom, and wedding day. Zabrina is amazing - highly recommend.

The night of the wedding our stations were a hit! People are still raving to this day about how delicious our choices were! My favorite was the martini glass salad, it was very cute on top of our place settings! Elite even decorated the stations with signs to fit our wedding theme! An absolutely gorgeous set up! They did each and every one of my requests and made them come to life. They designed the cake and buffet tables beautifully! The food was absolutely fantastic. We got so many compliments saying it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. The team even gathered all the decorations and put them in one location, making it easier for us to take them with us! They also gave us the leftovers :) I had a “manager” who made sure that I always had a drink all night and got things for me when I needed. They also cleaned up their prep space after they were done. The owner of the venue said she’s never had a caterer do that. That’s saying something!!!! Truly fantastic!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

When we walked around to our tables during dinner, everyone was raving about the food and were so excited to have something out of the box and that was served without a hitch! We also had their flaming donut bar, which once again, everyone was RAVING about.
I thoroughly appreciated their professionalism, their can-do attitude, and making sure my husband and I were well-fed too! Would definitely recommend to those looking for catering in the area!!

We were so confident in Ariell and Helen's abilities that we seriously didn't have to worry about a single thing the whole day. Ariell did an amazing job with keeping me (the bride) calm throughout the day, checking in with us, and walking us through the ceremony rehearsal to ensure the entire bridal party felt confident and ready to walk down the aisle.
We also want to thank Zabrina for all of her help as well. She was so patient with all of our emails and phone calls :) We couldn't have asked for a better company to work with!

The food was top tier and seasoned to perfection and the service was impeccable. Zabrina Jordan was our wedding planner. Zabrina made us feel so comfortable knowing that our big day was in good hands. She was very professional, but also very welcoming and friendly. She always made sure to check in leading up to the wedding to see if we needed anything and she didn’t lose one detail. We definitely recommend her for your wedding as she made sure our day was memorable for every right reason. Helen Lutz was our event leader/director and she was absolutely amazing. The table setting came together just like we dreamed and she was constantly on top of every detail during the day. She made sure everything ran smoothly and didn’t hesitate to check in on us during the wedding. Both Helen and Zabrina made sure me and my husband ate during the wedding because they know how easy it is to get lost in the stress of the day. Each of them (and everyone I interacted with on the day of my wedding) are so kind and friendly, you can really tell they care about your event and will go the extra mile to make it perfect. They were constantly coming up with solutions to problems that came up along the way and handled so many things the day of that I didn’t even have to worry about (even things not related to food!) They are true professionals. One of the servers left a tray of appetizers at the head table for me and my husband since they knew we hadn’t eaten, and were constantly checking in to see if we needed a drink. If you want amazing food and the added comfort of not having to worry about anything on your big day, let elite take care of it.

our venue. She went over all the logistics, sent reference pictures, recommended vendors that they’ve worked with, and answered the thousands of questions we had. WE LOVED HER. Bri helped with all of the details, she took us through the tasting, coordinated our entire day, and helped us with every step along the way. My mom and I are very visual people and Bri really helped us see the big picture. My favorite thing about Bri is that any issue that came up, she handled it calmly and with ease. There is no one else that I would have trusted my entire day to! The reception was exactly as I imagine and I have her to thank for that!!! The food was incredible, everyone was talking about how this was the best wedding food they've ever had (i also highly recommend the pretzel wall). used Elite and the new one did not, but we had such a positive experience working with them we continued to work with them. The staff, headed by Zabrina, was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire experience. They also worked directly with our venue to advise on station set-up and tables needed, which was a huge help on my end. They are experienced professionals and know what they are doing when it comes to coordinating a large event. Aside from that, their creativity and presentation of the food was unique and delicious. We received rave reviews about the Mac n Cheese bar and the beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly, which is difficult to do for such a large group. I'd highly recommend working with them for your wedding or event!

I'll start with the positive... They did a great job with decorating and putting my vision into practice, the room flip during cocktail hour seemed smooth, and the food was good.

Now onto the negative... We were hustled a little when picking them, promises made just for us to sign but none of it was true. The initial "coordinator" left and we were not informed, we got passed to someone else but seemed like our communications were not passed along. Our tasting was with a coordinator that was not our coordinator - we thought we figured some of our issues out, but when we met with our actual coordinator we found out they didn't communicate with each other. 6 weeks before the wedding they tried to increase our prices again, they "didn't realize it still said that" in the contract that prices were locked at 90 days. And finally our coordinator was only present during the prep process when we thought she would be present all evening. The head caterer did not do what we thought. We missed out on our favorite cake flavor because it was all given away.
We honestly considered changing our venue (exclusively used Elite) after we realized we got hustled but we loved the venue itself too much

Due to the bride living with celiac disease, we had to make sure that whomever we picked to cater our big day not only understood the severity of celiac disease but could provide high quality food and service still. Elite did not disappoint; from the tasting meeting to the actual events! The entire buffet at the reception was gluten free (things were well marked) and the staff was well informed on any other food restrictions throughout the evening. We had many compliments on our rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and dinner. Elite not only knows how to make high quality, delicious foods, but they also know how to display those foods in a way that makes it an experience for everyone involved. We really appreciate the attention to detail brought to each of our events by Elite. We highly recommend Elite Catering for your next event.

the wedding of our dreams, and they made the planning process not only easy, but fun. I worked specifically with Zabrina and she would always respond to my emails or texts very quickly and she would help take my vision and turn it into reality. Everyone on staff was so polite, kind, helpful, and they all had the bride and grooms best Interest in mind. Melanie and Helen were also two specific people on the Elite team that I had worked with, and I am so thankful to have had them there for the setting up process the day before. They knew what they were doing and that helped us and our pre-wedding stress.
The Elite team is truly elite. I will forever recommend them. Whoever chooses to go with them will be beyond happy and all of their wedding dreams will come true, just like how ours did!

d Catering showed while we were planning our wedding was above and beyond and set us at ease. We moved our date three different times to keep in accordance with state guidelines regarding COVID-19, and through that time, we were met each time with understanding, patience, and kindness. As to be expected, we had a couple of logistical hijinks take place the day of our wedding, and Zabrina and her team handled them like a pro--you wouldn’t have been able to tell that there was any sort of hiccup at all. I was very much impressed and thankful for them that day.
The food ya’ll--it’s fabulous. There are so. many. options. for the palate you want to curate for your event. Fortunately for you, the tastings are executed beautifully--you receive a lot of guidance in putting together your menu. It was by far most fun part of the planning process. I got so many compliments about how tasty the food was (and how people would have taken leftovers had they gotten the chance!)!
I wouldn’t hesitate to chose Elite Events and Catering for another event--I highly recommend their services and commend them on a job well done!

il 2020 event due to COVID-19 and Elite Catering coordinated with the Schuster Center so we could reschedule it for August. This significant change ended up being a seamless change because of their attention to detail.
The abundance and quality of food prepared was outstanding. We heard nothing but complements about the tenderness and taste of the Filet Mignon, the variety and flavor of the many Hors d'oeuvres, and the quality selection of premium beverages (wine, beer, and liquor) available. One of the highlights was the late night snack of "Skyline" Coney Dogs.
Throughout the entire planning process, Elite Catering was always involved and ensured the event would be wonderful; they delivered. Because the cost was very affordable and the service and quality of food and beverages was beyond outstanding, Elite Catering is the best choice for anyone planning a wedding. We would hire Elite Catering in a heartbeat for any future event needing quality food service.

enee's main goal was to make our wedding still as wonderful as possible while still following safety guidelines. I first met with Renee (we were working with another associate during our tasting) right after Governor Dewine announced Catering halls could open with some strict guidelines. Obviously some of the things we wanted for our catering had to change to make sure safety was a priority. Renee's creativity amazed me!! She found ways so we could still get what we wanted but do it within the guidelines. She is all about the details! I don't think our guests could tell the changes we had to make for restrictions because they were done all so well! We really wanted a serve yourself cheese plate for our guests for hor devours. With COVID restrictions we weren't allowed to have guests serve themselves food. Renee thought of doing a mini cheese board served on clipboards! It was a huge hit!!! We still were able to do a buffet with her staff serving and having plexiglass in front of the food. I thought she would have papers to write what each item was but instead, she did BEAUTIFUL font on the plexiglass that matched our wedding font with what each item was!! I was so amazed by all the little details they figured out to make our wedding safe and elegant. All of her staff was extremely nice and accommodating. They went above and beyond!!!!! Many guests have told us they felt so safe while attending our event and a big part of that is what Renee and her team did to ensure safety. On top of it all, the food was amazing! I would recommend them to anyone!!!!

was a little nervous doing a buffet style dinner. I wasn’t sure how it would flow and if the food would be warm by the time everyone got through the buffet. I can honestly say, I thought this flowed better than some weddings I’ve been to with played dinners. The buffet line went fast and I received numerous compliments on the food.
We worked with Zabrina, and I can’t say enough amazing things about her. She answered all of my emails and questions nearly immediately. Not only was she knowledgeable, but she was able to always guide us in the right direction when we couldn’t make a decision on something. Zabrina was able to tell me exactly what different linens would look like when I couldn’t decide between two. She knows the Dayton venues and was able to help us decide how to set up different parts of the reception. She sat down with us and made a detailed day of timeline! I honestly don’t think I could have done it without her! I would recommend her and elite catering to anyone planning a wedding!

ct was honored was Elite's number one goal. They were just fantastic. They catered the original food we ordered from the first catering company at the original price, but it was so much better! The cheese display was beautiful and the food was delicious. During the cocktail hour, Zabrina made sure servers came straight to us while we were outside taking pictures so we could still have food to eat. And they made sure we had our favorite cocktails all during dinner. Couldn't rave about them enough. Zabrina is awesome!

to our special menu request and set up ideas. You listened and then created a magical setting. Everything was absolutely beautiful. The food was amazing, all of it! The bar set up was perfect; guests were served quickly by friendly and professional bartenders.
