Danny did an incredible job at our wedding. Completely professional and easy to work with. He was able to make a beautiful edit out of our processional song which was way too long...
. He made it the perfect length and kept the integrity of the song as we intended. He seamlessly mixed our dancing playlist. The dance floor was packed for two hours straight. We highly recommend Danny.
I am so sad to write this review as this was my wedding!! Once in a lifetime experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t get Danny and the initial guy he gave us an Ed I believe, was then...
sick so we got a Johnathan. I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he too wasn’t feeling well. But so many things went wrong!! Thank goodness I stayed calm. To start, Jonathan was not enthusiastic was not acting like an MC. Then the cold sparks we paid for, never worked. So we did not have the dream grand entrance I always hoped for. Then he didn’t have the playlist we all went over together days before the wedding. During dinner, the music was so low it sounded like we had a stereo in the corner. Then he played all our jamming songs during dinner instead. Then he had moments of silence trying to find the right songs, for our first dance, he went over the time that he was supposed to cut off (which we discussed days before) so we were left trying to make up a long dance on the spot and probably looked unprepared, and lastly he played the wrong last dance song. Mind you, I had to correct all these things myself. When I could. To top off the many things that went wrong, Danny did not offer a discount instead refunded us only for the cold sparks and for cancelling the photo booth. Which he never told me we would be charged anyway. So it was not a good experience. If he would’ve cared about how my music was a near disaster (luckily I stayed sober enough to act as the DJs reminder of everything) he would’ve refunded us for everything that went wrong. But he didn’t. So here we are. I do not recommend. Period.
Danny was so EPIC!! He had the entire wedding dancing the night away and kept everyone moving. It was so fun. Danny is professional, kind and creative and we would highly recommend...
his DJ/MC services to anyone planning their wedding! He’s the best!
Danny from Elite Disc Jockeys was very professional and understanding of how we wanted our wedding playlist to be. He was very knowledgeable of the area (cold spring tavern) and wa...
s the perfect MC. If you are in the Santa Barbara area, hire Elite Disc Jockeys for your event. Very easy going and went with the flow of our unorthodox wedding. Thank you Danny!
Danny thank you so much! Our family and friends all loved you too!!! You were so awesome to work with, even from the time we met you via zoom for our first meet and greet. Love the...
fact you were not stressing when we had to change the venue setup 2 weeks before the wedding. All the music choices, speed, and mixes were all excellent! You also killed it with MC-ing. Thanks for being open and comfortable with our script for the game and intro speeches!
Notes to all couples who are thinking/getting married in Zaca Mesa Winery, Danny knows the venue's coordinator and location very well and you’ll be in such great hands!
Danny and everything about Elite Disc Jockeys was amazing!! We hired him for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. We had pretty specific music vibes we wanted for each part of ...
our wedding day and after only a couple of emails and a recap phone call Danny understood what we were wanting style wise and he hit the nail on the head for everything!! He was so kind and made the day extra special for us. Our dance floor was always upbeat even when some people were wandering doing other activities such as the fan favorite photobooth (that Danny also helped to provide). We have guests still talking about how amazing some of his DJ skills were. Overall, we loved the experience with Danny and can't thank him enough for how FUN he made our wedding reception!
Danny was amazing! We had a small wedding but he made sure we were all dancing all night long. We didn’t want it to end! We received lots of compliments on the dj. He was wonderful...

t we had. Our DJ, Ramiro, was excellent as well. He played a great set that kept our dance floor packed the whole night. We would absolutely recommend Danny's Elite Disc Jockeys to anyone in need of a DJ. They are exceptional!

He was extremely responsive to us, worked with us to put together an exact program, and curated our playlists perfectly. He also set up an awesome photo booth, which our guests loved.
I would definitely recommend Danny and Elite Disc Jockeys to anyone who needs a DJ in the Santa Barbara area!
After a misunderstanding with our vendor team, we realized less than two weeks out that we needed to rent A/V equipment for our wedding to play the playlist we created and allow fo...
r speeches. Our wedding was more of a casual affair, so we knew we weren't necessarily interested in a DJ, and Danny understood that—he wasn't pushy at all and was so prompt and courteous when responding even though this was so last-minute. My planner, my partner, and I had a handful of questions and Danny was quick and patient when getting back to us about them too. The rental fee was reasonable (especially compared to other folks in town) and making payments was incredibly convenient, as they accept so many different forms. On the day of our wedding, it was clear that Danny had done a great job not just setting up the equipment but training our planner on how to use it, as we didn't have a single technical hiccup all day.
Danny did an amazing job at my wedding. From the first time we talked I knew he would do great. And he still exceeded my expectations. He's organized, easy to communicate with, and...
an excellent DJ. He did a great job keeping the party going and his transitions between songs were awesome. We got a lot of compliments from our guests. Thanks Danny!!!
Danny did a fabulous job as DJ/MC of our wedding weekend! I am not ashamed to admit that music was the part of my wedding I was most particular (ahem, Bridezilla) about, and Danny ...
was able to roll with it and bring to life the perfect “soundtrack” that I had imagined. We had three days of events during which Danny set up equipment all over the large private estate that was our venue. Between mics, speakers, silent disco, and a video projector; Danny made it all happen seamlessly. His energy is upbeat and friendly, but also very calming. He was also flexible as our plans changed and evolved throughout the planning process due to COVID. I’d highly recommend hiring him for your wedding or party. He’ll make sure you have a blast!
Danny did an amazing job as the DJ at our wedding! We had an outdoor ceremony, and he made it possible for everyone to hear the ceremony and the music. And at the reception, he d...
id an amazing job as Emcee and also keeping the dance floor going! I'd highly recommend Danny to anyone looking for an awesome DJ.
Danny / Elite was a perfect DJ choice for our wedding! We looked at a few options here in Santa Barbara, and were confident and excited with working with Danny after our first cal...
l. He helped make the whole process easy and stress-free, and more importantly brought great music to our event - we had all our guests dancing the entire night! I was also able to give music, genre, and even specific song recommendations prior, and was obviously thrilled to hear those throughout our big day. We both would definitely recommend enlisting Danny or Elite for any of your DJ needs!
Danny at Elite Disc Jockey was such a pleasure to do business with! We hired him for an open photo booth at our wedding. It was awesome to be able to fit in as many people as we wa...
nted into each photo. We also included the option for a preview/slide show of all the photos taken on an additional screen. It was so fun and everyone loved it! It was definitely a big hit of the night especially the props they brought! We even got digital copies of everyone’s photos afterward. I really recommend hiring Danny for your wedding!!
My husband and I got married in Solvang in September and it was the perfect day! Ramiro was extremely professional and kept the hits coming! He was respectful of our list and was...
totally in tune with the energy in the room! Working with Danny and Ramiro was incredible and I highly recommend them!
We couldn’t have been more pleased with the way Danny DJ’d at our wedding! He did such a great job mixing and playing all different genres...keeping everyone on their feet! He did ...
a fabulous job reading our crowd too! We wanted cultural music sprinkled throughout the night and he did such a great job working in Persian music for our guests as well.
He was so easy to work with and appreciated how responsive he was throughout the whole planning process! The day of he worked really well with all of our vendors and stayed true to our timeline to ensure we maximized our time for the party! We would recommend Danny for any wedding as you can tell he really personalized our event for us!
Danny DJ'd and Mc'd my wedding this past weekend. It was great!! All of my guests and myself were on the dance floor to the very end. Danny was very attentive to all my requests ...
and need. My wedding was my best day ever thanks in part to the great music Danny provided us.
Danny DJ'd and MC'd our wedding this past weekend. It went so smoothly, the music was great, the mic's were always in place on time, and we had multiple people comment to us on ho...
w great the music was and how well he read the room in knowing what to play next.
Danny set up a 30 minute call the week prior to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page as far as the timeline went, and to make sure he knew if there were any particular important things to us that he could assist with.
I would absolutely recommend him for other weddings and events!
We worked with Danny for our event and he was awesome! They have an online planning form where you put what music you want to play for each thing like first dance, father/daughter ...
dance, cake cutting, etc. You can also say which songs you for sure want played and which ones you don’t. So we filled that out a couple weeks before the wedding. Then the week of the wedding, Danny called us to go over the forms. We discussed the kind of music to play at dinner and during the dance portion of the evening. We also wanted a rather long song for our first dance but didn’t want to dance the whole time, so Danny sent us over a few different cuts of the song to make it shorter. He also remixed a slower song we wanted for our grand entrance. The songs he played at the dance portion were perfect. He was easily able to tell which songs people were enjoying dancing to and played those for longer. My husband, the guests, and I had a ball dancing all night long. Could not recommend him enough!
I cannot say enough good things about Danny at Elite DJs. From the moment I reached out to him, he was prompt, friendly and so easy to work with. Since we didn't live in the area...
, Danny made every accommodation to meet with us to go over the type of vibe we wanted for our special day. He has a wide range of musical knowledge and took every one of our requests. Our wedding day was perfect. He played to our crowd and kept everyone dancing all night long! I wish I could get married again just so he could DJ for us.
We hired Danny to be the DJ for our wedding at the Canary Hotel on December 15, 2018 in Santa Barbara. His communication was excellent, his customer service second-to-none and he ...
made our day very memorable.
We appreciate his planning, effort, and contribution to our very special day. Many guests raved that this was the best wedding they had ever been to, and had the best music ever! Our dance floor was packed all night long.
My husband and I got married in July at an estate in Santa Ynez. After reading A LOT of reviews and doing our research we hired Danny from Elite Disc Jockeys. Danny was AMAZING. He...
was extremely responsive, patient, helpful, and prioritized our wants/desires. I was a very hands on bride and Danny allowed me to be able to relax and not worry about any of the MC or sound logistics. Before even signing a contract Danny was willing to do a walkthrough of the venue and help us determine what equipment would be best, how we would be able to repurpose sound systems, and most importantly how we could have exactly what we wanted within our budget! Danny even spent time before our weeding to sit down with us face to face to talk about what vibe we wanted (PARTY), any must play songs, timing etc. We had an amazing dance floor/ party atmosphere at our wedding and it’s all attributed to Elite Disc Jockeys. Overall: HIGHLY recommend Elite Disc Jockeys!!!!!!!!

ted for our wedding. He added his experience to the area we needed to fill in the gaps musically, and was very respectful and professional. Danny communicated the details clearly in plnning meetings and provided a great website to organize the playlist. Danny stuck to the plan we agreed on and didn’t try to take over the party with his mic and personality, which is exactly what we were worried about based on other DJs at weddings we’ve attended. This is not to say he didn’t feel out the crowd and play the right music at the right time. Danny was flawless in his transitions and song selections. We also had Danny uplighting which was very nice for our outside venue. We wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your music needs at a wedding!
We planned our wedding in four months and Danny was very accommodating with all of our quick decisions. Prices are very reasonable, he offers package deals that include photobooth ...
and A/V rentals & lighting. He uses an online guest portal that makes creating a timeline and adding music very quick and simple. He has a wide variety of music and all of our guests had a great time!! Thank you for being a part of special day!!
Danny was awesome!! He was flexible throughout our wedding/music planning process and helped us create an amazing custom mix for our introductions. He is easy to work with and kept...
the dance party going all night long! We highly recommend him for any music/MC needs!! You will not be disappointed.
Danny was fantastic. Easy to work with, professional and very helpful.

rything go smoothly. He listened to our recommendations and requests for songs, made some of his own based on what we had put together, and helped with the most epic recessional song. I plan to use them for any future events that we have. Thank you SO much Danny for making our wedding day a dream come true. The music tied the whole event together, and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

nned our wedding from Arizona where we live. He was so easy to communicate with and answered all my questions thoroughly. I had reached out to a few DJ's prior who seemed too pushy, cheesy, expensive, and didn't demonstrate active listening as they seemed to disregard what I wanted in favor of what they generally do.
Danny was the complete opposite which is why we asked him to DJ our wedding. He was patient, flexible with his pricing to accommodate our budget, and paid special attention to exactly what we wanted. Because timing an in person meeting with him beforehand would be tough with us flying in to Santa Barbara a few days before and the rehearsal dinner, venue walk through, etc. to attend, he proposed a Skype meeting to make sure we were all on the same page which was value added. He was professional, organized, and a pleasure to talk to.
He also provided us a log in page where we could go in and add songs to our playlist along with a section for notes and also to write out songs not to play which made the process much easier. At our wedding he had his eye on the dance floor all night to pick up on our guests mood and chose the right song to play at the right time which is exactly what you want on your wedding when you're preoccupied with 1000 other things. I highly recommend Danny Vasquez and would book him again in a heartbeat. Thank you Danny!
Danny from Elite Disc Jockeys was the DJ for our wedding at Zaytoon last weekend, and he was absolutely fantastic. We had originally chosen him because we listened to a few samples...
from some other events he had done and liked both the music and transitions. We made a great decision, because the dance floor was packed all night. We told him what types of music we like, but with pretty minimal input from us, he did a great job choosing dinner music and then dance music throughout the evening. He also did a great job announcing things throughout the night. He was helpful and professional from the first call we had with him about a year ago, and I would highly recommend his services for anyone needing a DJ for their event.

e handled everything from the opening ceremony to the final song. He was exceptional at adapting to changes in the schedule and kept the party going all night. If you're looking for a dj for your next event look no further.
Danny is THE BEST. Music was so important to us, so being able to feel like we could collaborate with our DJ was crucial! He made himself available to us to discuss the mood and ...
feel we wanted from the dinner to the last song. I dont think I left the dance floor once. We truly enjoyed every second with him!
Danny was incredible from our first phone call up until the end of our wedding. We really wanted a DJ who would keep our crowd dancing all night and that's exactly what he did. No ...
stereotypical cheesy DJ stuff, just good music with great mixes into the next song. He did a wonderful job on the audio for our ceremony as well. Most guest didn't even realize he was there as he mixed everything through an iPad and no equipment got in the way of photos and videos. His website to request songs was easy to use, he has a HUGE database of songs and once we gave him some music suggestions for cocktail, dinner and dancing he filled in the rest beautifully. He took time to come and meet us before the wedding and also did a walk through at the venue beforehand as he hadn't done a wedding there before. Our wedding was a ton of fun and Danny was a big reason for that. The dance floor was packed from the start of the first open dance song until the final note of the last song. His pricing was fair and working with him was such a pleasure. You can't go wrong with Danny and Elite Disc Jockeys.

eption, and Danny was as accommodating as possible. He did some great edits of songs for some our entrance music, and his online portal was a great touch for communicating with him as well as for picking music we wanted to hear (or not hear!). Our guests had a great time dancing, and a number of them commented on how well Danny did reading the crowd and playing just the right song at the right moment.
I would definitely work with Danny again.
Danny Vasquez of Elite Disc Jockeys was our wedding ceremony and reception DJ and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the greater Santa Barbara area looking for an event DJ! ...
He was referred to us by a friend so I was initially biased when talking to other local DJ’s. However, after a few phone screens it was apparent that Danny at Elite Disc Jockeys was hands-down the best choice beyond referral. Our phone conversations with him from the start were exciting, filled with collaboration between the both of us. Every time my husband and I had an idea for a song, we emailed it to Danny for advice and he always responded promptly. We wanted to walk down the aisle to violin-covers of rap songs and we could only find them on YouTube, but this was no issue at all for Danny. He found the exact versions we wanted and created perfectly sound audio files from them (now my Mom wants to listen to ‘Still D.R.E.’ violin-covers cause Danny made it sound so beautiful!). We also had several homemade audio tracks that our friends had recorded that we wanted to be used intermittently throughout the night. He not only mastered the tracks to make them sound as clean as possible, he found ways to sneak the songs in between modern music and made the surprise all the more exciting. Danny MC’ed our entire event flawlessly, remembering little touches that we spoke about here and there, and with complete professionalism. I can’t wait to tell everyone I know looking for a DJ in SB about Danny, and look forward to dancing the night away to his amazing DJ skills again.
Danny is the BEST!! We didn't talk to any other DJs after our initial phone call with Danny. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and kind during the whole planning process. I ...
was planning my wedding from a distance so I was very grateful Danny was so accommodating when it came to working with my schedule. He made sure to be available when I was in town and worked with me to set up phone meetings when I was unable to meet in person. He provided me with a lot of advice and input as far as music and even with layout/event flow during the site visit. It was comforting to have someone so experienced because my wedding was the first event I have every planned. When it came to most of the music all I had to say was "I trust you." My guests had so much fun dancing the night away! Danny really knows how to read a crowd. He also was able to make the processional song longer to ensure all the wedding party was able to make it down the aisle before the song ended. We are so happy we decided to book Danny and highly recommend him for anyone planning a special event.
We loved Danny!! We spoke with a handful of other DJ’s prior to booking, but we liked the energy he brought to the conversation and instantly picked him. He understood that every w...
edding is as unique as the couple; he worked with us to ensure that the music and flow fit the overall vibe we were going for, and also kept guests going all night. More than that, Danny went above and beyond working with the vendors and our planner to ensure the entire wedding day went smoothly, including helping our family members get around the wedding site (he saved the day for Grandma!). We are thrilled with our choice in Danny and cannot say enough good things about him – we highly recommend him!!
I am confident if you choose to work with Danny you will be happy you did. We had an all around excellent experience. Leading up to the event, our interactions were low touch, yet ...
productive. Danny communicated clearly about what was happening and would be needed from us. He also had good suggestions for order of events and how to make the event flow smoothly. On the day of the event Danny was entirely self sufficient in getting everything setup. During the event Danny was perfect - kept things going, read the crowd perfectly and overall nailed it. Elite Disk Jockeys / Danny = no risk.
Danny DJ'd for our wedding and it was all perfect. His website beforehand where we could pick all of the photos was so easy to use and ensured we had all the songs we wanted played...
. At the event Danny was the best. He got everyone up and dancing and created a great feeling and mood for the whole night. I highly recommend him for any event.

s something about Danny's relaxed style and understated confidence that made us feel that he would be the perfect choice for a wedding. Prior to the big day he met with us two different times to ensure that the evening would go off without a hitch. At the wedding he made sure to incorporate the songs we selected during the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He did a great job of picking up on our style, reading the crowd, and choosing a perfect selection of songs for dancing. He was also right on track with pacing the event, and helping us stick to our timeline throughout the evening. You can't go wrong with Danny for your DJ.
Loved Danny! Not cheesy at all, kept the flow smooth, but didn't interfere. Met with us twice to make sure he had everything he needed. GREAT sense of how to get a crowd going w...
